I had an entire furnace and air conditioning unit installed. I was nervous to see how places treat you and take your money, and this was nearly 10k worth of work I contracted for them to do. I can honestly day, worth every penny!... they were on time, on budget, professional, and went above and beyond making my install look clean and neat. They made a customer for life out of me! UPDATE: Below my update is my original review which was originally 5-stars. Going into late fall my 4-seasons room wall furnace was going out so I called Price. This furnace was services before my house closing and deemed in working order. To save money on the fall service call I added on this unit to my annual service agreement. The service technician was "friendly" but viewed this wall furnace as an antique and not worthy of his time. He cleaned the pilot light, ran some tests, lit the unit, checked again. He said it should work fine, just call if there is a problem. 3 days later the furnace went out. I called Price, they said they'd contact the technician, called me back and said they couldn't keep coming out to relight my pilot. WHAT? I told them I wanted to know if new parts were needed if available and this wasn't merely about restarting the pilot, I could do that but there seemed to be a draft blowing it out. I had discussed this when the technician was at my home but it's an old unit, these people are really not up on older models. What they want to do is sell you a "latest and greatest" Mitsubishi air & heat combo. My main furnace is older too, as well as the central heating - both pass all their tests with flying colors but they keep telling me I need a new central unit because I'm on borrowed time. What happened to "if it ain't broke don't fix it?" One thing Price is very good at - recommending new air & central heating and their annual service contract. I've received a mailer to renew and two phone messages. They don't mind taking my money but when called upon for service? Well, we're busy. I'm busy too so I'll move on. Price isn't the only heating & cooling game in town. Caveat Emptor! ************** Original Review Below: I purchased a home and needed an inspection of the furnace(s) and central air condition. Professional, punctual, good advice with a written report. I had work done on the main furnace after the inspection, it needed the motor to be pulled and cleaned. The 4-seasons room furnace was inspected and passed. I rescheduled for warmer weather to have the central air conditioning inspected. Both visits were the same, professional, punctual and detailed. I was so happy with the service on the initial visit I signed up for the annual inspection/service contract. Calling the office receives the same grade "A+". Courteous, responsive to questions, exceedingly helpful. A breath of fresh air when seeking professional contract services for the home!! read more

Because the weather was mild on Thanksgiving, the day my furnace quit, I did not call for emergency service. Instead I left my number and asked them to call me on Friday. They called first thing and a tech was out within an hour. Dan was friendly, courteous, and efficient. He had the problem diagnosed in minutes and replaced the faulty part. On top of all that, the price was very reasonable. I will call Price again if I ever need service and would highly recommend them. read more

They are getting two stars because, Wendy, who answers the phone was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable. If it was not for her, it would have been one star. They sent someone out that night to assess the problem and see if it could be fired back up. He got here and complained about it being a oil burner, tore some of it apart and said the whole time "how bad it is" and "never seen one this bad" took a few pictures and said he would have to talk to someone about it. So he left, after letting us use two of their heaters, and not putting my furnace back together because they were gonna be back Monday sometime. I took Monday off and waited around until 11:30 when someone finally called and told me they were not interested in doing my job. It is terrible customer service to let someone think for three days with no furnace, you were coming back to fix it. So if you want someone to do a good job, call someone else. If the job was too much for them to handle, and not able to do it, would be a lot better to say that up front. I could have then gotten a hold of someone who wants money. read more

Awful experiences with them. Bought a new furnace that was installed in December 2018. It ran for about 3 weeks before I was outside and realized the AC unit was kicking on. They cross wired it so both the furnace and AC ran at the same. This just burned my gas and electric and likely was pretty hard on wear and tear on the equipment! They had told us the air would feel cooler with the new furnace due to technology to provide more even heating, The furnace did outperform the AC so it was not cold, but the house was chilly. To make up for it they agreed to a year of free check ups. Well they scheduled my free AC check up for this year on JULY 29. Well we have already had 10 90+ degree days. It bothered me that it was this late and I asked to push it out to next year (May or June) (also because of covid) and was told no. If I wanted to reschedule my options were the end of September and no later than November because my contract year was up. An AC check July 29 is bad enough but end of September is absurd. She explained again that this is normal to do an ac checkup at the end of summer. I said as a customer I didn't want to hear it, yet the third time she started to repeat her speech why this is normal I said please cancel it and ended the call. Another lady called me back apparently to educate me on why this was normal. I explained I didn't want to hear it. I hung up on her third rendition as I had already heard it more than I wanted as a customer and had already canceled the service. I had more issues as well (vents closed off at the furnace...). My recommendation is go somewhere else!!! read more

Called in for A/C service and was pleasantly greeted by Linda. I needed servicing that day and they made arrangements for servicing that afternoon. The technician came out and quickly diagnosed the problem and corrected it by cleaning the condenser and adding Freon. I would recommend Price based on my experience with them today! I will call them the next time I need servicing. read more
