I would rate a 0 or less if I could. The promised delivery was nowhere in sight, and calling got more empty promises. At one point the "service" rep told me that the road conditions were to blame for the delivery truck being unable to get through. Pinetop hadn't had any snow for weeks, but the midwest (US) had plenty. Straight up lie. Cost per gallon is much higher than anyone else in town. Same with tank rental. The "fees" are even worse. Wish there was a minus system! We only had this company by default. They bought out the local company we originally had 28 years ago. It had been and was going to continue to be extremely cold, so I called wanting to schedule an early tank fill. After reaching someone in a foreign country, and they wanted 4 pieces of info to verify account. Every time, which was really really slow......I went through this for 4 days. Each day being told that we were on the emergency schedule for the next day. I also told them daily what percentage of propane we had. Starting at 20% down to 3% on the last day I called. They don't even have a local office you can go to! Phone calls are sourced out. Having to give 4 pieces of information just to be able to discuss your account is crazy. They just don't give a dam. we called a LOCAL company and they helped immediately! DONT use this company. read more

If I could rate zero stars I would do so. Here are the facts 1)Terrible wrt promptness of deliver, always, over the course of several yrs 2) Hit my gate and caused significant damage...yes the gate is wide enough 3) At ending service (we got natural gas plumbed).. 3.1) 150$ fee to retrieve their tank. So they recover an asset which they will re-rent, but I pay them to do so. 3.2) Would not estimate for me what the rebate would be on the remaining gas in the tank....so onCe the tank is gone, I am at their mercy 3.3) Would not specify a time and date when they will pick up the tank...thought it doesnt matter...my guess is they will be weeks late against whatever date they give 4) Always rude and curt on the phone...not ever fun to speak with them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST AMERIGAS IN SHOWLOW. OBVIOUSLY THEY ARE CROOKS, VERY UNORGANIZED AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. read more

EPIC INEPTITUDE Opened an account with them because the property we bought had one of their tanks. Waited for their delivery. Waited some more. Called the office and was assured the truck would deliver. It didn't. Rinse and repeat. Long story short, I initiated about six contacts over a month while winter advanced and our supply dwindled and never once received service of any kind from this bogus outfit. Lame excuses like "communications problems", "software problems", "I dunno..." I am now happily with a local company that honors their commitments to provide this vital service. read more

Do not reccomend coming here. Go support the local family owned business instead. Travelling through the area we filled our rv tank down the street at one of their retailers. They over filled the tank and instantly a new leak started coming from a seal. The store unable to help us sent us to Jerry at this Amerigas. Jerry refused to help us arguing with us that it was not the stores fault and that they didnt over fill it from the minute we stepped out of the RV. Wagging his finger in my face refusing to let me even talk to ask questions. He told us he didnt have time to drain our overfilled tank that it would take hours. All he offered was to let us use his tool to tighten the bolts to help slow the leak till we got to a place to drain our propane and fix it. A complete waste of time. We took the RV down to Owens Propane's to have it looked it. They explained how the tank and filling propane works to us. They then confirmed that the tank was definitely overfilled . He told us it would take about an hour to drain it and that it is a simple fix. Thank goodness the seal had a leak causing us to further investigate the situation otherwise we might have had a bigger problem on our hands. read more

Amerigas left my 84 year old mother in the freezing cold for several days in Show Low, AZ, before she finally hired another company to bring her propane. She had no hot water or heat. They said they had made her delivery, but couldn't even get anyone out to check after repeated phone calls. When the new company put their tank in, they said the existing one was empty. Ameriprise would not refund my mother for the delivery that they didn't make. Do not use this company. read more

If I could go into negative numbers if stars, I would. This company is the worst of which I have dealt. If took me (literally) 17 phone calls to set up delivery to my house that already had their tank when I moved in. That was February 2021. Then, in December they just randomly showed up to fill the tank. I didn't request auto delivery. Then, 6/28/2022 I called to cancel. They didn't advise of any fees due. So I figured they would charge me a small fee to pick up THEIR tank. I got charged 309. Dollars!! I'm disabled and on a fixed income and can't afford that. I called on 7/18/2022. The customer service (and I use that term loosely) told me that she would waive the early termination fee, because I had been with them over a year. Then she talked to the billing department and they would waive the rest of it because of my bad experience. She asked me to hold while she made notes on my file. 2 days later, there is no credit. No notes, nothing. This is typical of this company. They aren't the only game in town. DON'T USE AMERIGAS. They are liars!! read more

We really didn't have much interaction with them until recently and now they are very hard to deal with. They are a big company that could care less about their customers. Argumentative, and completely useless, take your business elsewhere. After over filling at a store we went to amerigas, their propane provider, and Jerry refused to resolve the situation even after offering to pay cash for the services and worrying about reimbursement from the company who filled the tank. He had zero interest in fixing it. Again take your money else where. read more

Avoid this supplier. We had been with them for several years when they were known as "Grave's" propane but after Amerigas bought Grave's they started trying to charge almost double. When I called and pretended to be a potential new customer, they quoted 1/2 of what they had tried to bill me and assured me this was the rate I would be charged in the future. Sure enough, my next bill was higher than what was quoted over the phone. We switched to another supplier. When I gave Amerigas back there rented tank with 70 gallons of my propane left in it, They tried to charge me to take their tank back!!!! read more

I own my own tank and bid a refill once a year. Amerigas Show Low offered me an introductory rate of $1.59/gal, so I gave them the go-ahead. However, when I got my invoice it was billed at $2.39/gal. I had to call them back and get it re-billed. I suspect that this is standard operating procedure under the assumption that even if only one in ten doesn't notice, they've made money. Maybe I'm just old and grumpy, but I still value honesty and integrity, and I suspect it is lacking here. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! We ordered our first fill of propane, and the Show Low office scheduled a service tech to come out and inspect our tank. They did not tell us that there was a $ 59.00 charge for that service, and then they quoted us $1.55 per gal for our first fill and then turned around and billed us $ 2.69 per gal. I have called 5 times to try to get this fixed, and each time they say they will take care of it!! Very frustrating!! Go to another company if you can, because these people are not interested in customer satisfaction!!! read more
