I hate to write a bad review, especially because we really liked the owner. She was prompt in…read moreresponding to texts/calls, was easy to talk to and initially do business with, and had good prices. We had multiple trees cut down in our backyard, and per our text conversation, removing the trees from our property was part of the quote. However, after the job was completed, the logs and shrubbery sat on our property towards the back of yard. When she came to inspect the completion of the job, we asked her about having them removed and she said something about hauling away not being part of the by-day price, but that since she said it in our text exchange, she would honor removing them. However, she would have to figure out how to get them removed--she said she would contact someone who *might* want the trees and maybe would come get them . This was a little strange to me because I assume that a tree-cutting company has the equipment to haul away and/or shred the taken-down trees. We said that was fine and reminded her that they absolutely couldn't stay on our property like they currently were. She asked us to send her reminder texts every few days so that she would remember to contact people who could come and get the logs. Again, a little strange to me because I'm thinking, "Don't you have your own means to remove the trees you cut down???". Flash forward a week or so and the logs were still on our property, and so we just decided to bite the bullet and pay her additional money to do whatever was needed to get the logs off our property. Long story short, her workers came back, but because they only had 1 pick-up truck to haul logs, it took forever, and they were unable to finish in the one day. After some back and forth, the owner felt like *we* were being unreasonable, and so she never completed her end of the deal to remove the logs, and thus they still sit on our property. Now we are going to have pay someone else to remove the logs and fix some of her work (including taking down trees that were broken during the initial tree removal process). I am just confused how a tree-cutting company doesn't have the adequate equipment to remove the logs they cut down. So...if you're getting only a couple of trees cut down--enough that can easily fit on the back of 1 pickup truck--then I think you will be fine to hire this company. I really did enjoy working with them initially. But, if you've got multiple trees and don't want to have the remnants left on your property, then I would choose another company.
