I have been getting highlights for twenty years, I know sometimes it gets dry. I also noticed a jagged and uneven cut. I have since put on a mask three times and the ends are still fried. I reached out to Amanda this morning with a picture that clearly shows not only the fried hair but the horrible cut and asked for a refund. The response I got wasn't even from her and didn't even have a name on it. They just made another appt for me to come back in!! Why would anyone in their right mind go back after Amanda did such a horrible job and wouldn't even respond to my request for a well-deserved refund? There's $400 down the drain!!! Book an appt at your own risk!! Update: The manager, still don't know their name, offered me a refund for the haircut, the cheapest service. I agreed to the cut and tip to be refunded. But, Im still out $300 for burned, shabby looking hair. No apologies from the stylist or the salon. I just received a response from the owner on Google. In response to the owner, it looked fine when I left. Amanda hot ironed and you couldn't see the chopped cut. So, it does reflect perfectly. I tried to mask my hair at my own cost, why would I let a stylist touch my hair again after she did that? YOU would never accept that for your own hair, why should I? And I sent a very clear picture of the cut. You don't need to examine it in person!

So far, it is trimming and shaping, and lessons on styling, as the hair is growing out. I am uncertain if I'm going to keep letting it grow, and will decide after my next appointment. So far, however, I am very pleased with Kierlan's guidance. The shop is busy, clean, professional and friendly. Parking can be a challenge, with lots of shops nearby.

It's an experience extraordinaire! I had the pleasure of having Lilly perform my service. She is spectacular. I wrote notes on an index card outlining my likes, dislikes and some medical challenges. Lilly was attentive to every detail. She is very intuitive. The massage portion of the experience was perfect. She "knew" exactly where to apply more or less pressure on my feet, legs, head and shoulders. My toes look and feel fabulous! I am so grateful that I met Lilly. The Salon is about 35 minutes from my house but it is well worth the trip for this level of service. I've planned future visits and requested her. The hair over my left ear is cut easily a half inch high, and it's maybe a quarter inch on the right. The bulk on the back of my hair is easily an inch and a half longer on the right side than the left. I asked for a taper fade. Easily the worst haircut I've gotten. And I tipped more than half of what the haircut cost... I had to schedule an appointment elsewhere to get this fixed, likely will not be returning.

That aside, I decided to give their Skin services a try. I am so glad I did! The esthetician (male) was amazing! You really get a full hour!!! Price was excellent and his massage was to die for!! Here for a short vacation and asked at the time of booking how long it would be. Was told probably 1.5 hours, which seemed like the norm. Well, I was there over 3 hours and it's not because the quality of my service warranted it. The person doing my service was extremely nice, and I wish I didn't like her as much as I did. Made it difficult to be impatient with her, but as the time ticked by, I could feel my anxiety rise. My manicure was terrible - I have bubbles and ridges and the entire nail is not coated. I could've done a better job. The polish used was gummy. Cuticles were conditioned but not cleaned up. I know I should've said something... but after addressing the filing and shaping, I was just tapped out, feeling trapped and hoping to get it over with. Pedicure was 2 hours and the agony there was I knew after the manicure that it couldn't possibly be good. It wasn't. All the calluses and hard skin were not taken off and my feet stayed the solution for so long that they absorbed the blue soak. So the bottom and sides of my feet are blue and my calluses are still there. Same issues with the polish part (I don't understand that... it's supposed to be uniform and shiny ... not gummy and gloppy.. isn't that the easy part?) but if my feet were cleaned up, I would've at least felt like it was worth it. The manicure was $25. The pedicure $35.... I feel like an idiot. I'm sad that I wasted 3 hours - $65 - (yes, $65, because they rung it up at first to $75 and it took 10 minutes of which I was losing my mind to fix it. when the receptionist came back $65 which I knew was wrong - I felt the $5 was worth me getting the hell out of there before I went insane) Amazing to me the owner/manager doesn't take more pride in quality of service to make sure that her staff know what they are doing. I felt like I was given a rookie - someone who wasn't properly trained - maybe who isn't even a nail tech. No one noticed how long this took ... which amazed me ... and then to have the receptionist unable to ring up a simple transaction and fix it in under 10 minutes.... and then still get it wrong... I almost at some point wondered where the camera was - was this a TV joke? Lesson learned. Ugh.
