Prices are standard for the alley, they do discounts for league and special needs adults and their staff. The workers, for the most part provide excellent service. We had a few issues with a girl that would shoo us away at the snack bar when we tried to buy two sodas. She would tell us to go to the bar or wait to find a waitress. Then the bar told us to go to the snack bar and the waitress was MIA. It was handled by other staff, pro tip, if this happens, you can go to the main desk for them to ring you up. Our problem was quickly solved. The food is good, I would recommend the cauliflower bites, the wings, chicken tenders, pretzel sticks, flatbread, and quesadilla. The cheesy bread and nachos aren't the best. As for the drinks, can't complain, they are good. I don't care for the Long Island Iced Tea Mix, they no longer pour in all the liquor, it's a mix...not the same, but I buy it! They do rock and glow and have music videos and shows playing on them behind the lanes. Great clean fun location for all ages. This location has plenty of deals to get you in the door, i.e., Groupon. Once inside, you have Arcade, Bar/Concession, Pro Shop and of course Bowling galore. Never had to wait to get a lane any of the times I have been here and have all sorts of pricing package options. They also offer learning and league options for students and adults. We just went with my family and loved it. It was clean, fairly priced and our server was nice and attentive. The food was good and service was quick. we had a good time overall and really liked the fact that it wasn't too crowded! We've returned to AMF Babylon a few times since my initial review in hopes that we'd grow to love it. It's the closest bowling alley to us, so it really is up there in terms of convenience. Unfortunately, we haven't been too impressed by our experiences here. We came in close to 7pm yesterday to avail of their Sunday Funday $3.79/game deal. They told us we couldn't play on the lit side of the alley because this was reserved for only league bowlers. I've played in leagues before so I understood this rule at first, but I was confused and frustrated when I looked and saw there were still several empty lanes on the lit side - more than enough for the league players (who were already in the middle of their games). We were directed to the dark side of the alley, which was very difficult to play on as it was hard to really see our balls travel down the lane and make fine adjustments. I think that playing in the dark with the colored lights might sound fun for a party, but not at all for when you're trying to get some good practice in and track your progress. The dark area of the alley also seemed to be less maintained, with the lane not properly oiled, the floor littered with trash and food (not ideal when you're wearing bowling shoes), and the bathroom filthy. The lit side got emptier as the night progressed, and we later saw families and other casual bowlers on that side while we were still stuck in the dark. We left feeling like the discount wasn't worth it and that we would've been better off paying full price at another alley. read more

DO not GO HERE! DO NOT BRING CHILDREN HERE ESPECIALLY!! I want you to know,  THEIR claims department denied me the support I was promised by THEIR management of babylon lanes, sunrise highway.  ABOUT 5 MONTHS AGO, THIS place had several parties going on and when I walked in, saw the children chaotically running all over, across lanes, tackling others down, amongst many other things. NOT ONE CHILD WAS IN THEIR ASSIGNED LANE. My first thought was, where is all the staff? Why isn't any staff member walking around to manage the parties? It is not my job to yell to other parents to manage their child or yell at anyone's children to stop all this chaos and behave.  Within ten minutes I arrived,  we went on the alley floor to begin bowling.  I turned around,  not 1 yard away, and my daughters were standing watching,  when a bigger kid swung their ball and split open my daughter's chin. I was just hanging their coats on the hook with reach of my children. It was so loud and crazy thst I did not want to group with the parents above talking. I heard crying and turned around to see blood all overmy crying daughter. I looked all over to find staff support, only to find them all talking at the front desk but nowhere on the surrounding chsotic floor. They gveme all their information snd promised the bowling alley would compensate for my medical. So, I rushed her to the hospital, and she got 6 stitches.  I had to mske follow up calls to the alley to get to the right people to address the situation. No district Manager called tosee how my daughter was. Disgusting ! So, I sought legal advice after in fear that the promise of the bowling alley promise to take care of my medical costs wouldn't be honored.  The lawyer accidentally jumped on the case, but I asked them to hold off to at least give them the chance to make right as promised. I also held back on writing reviews of the situation and the management of this day, because I thought I'd be taken care of as an apology of their managerial neglect.  Let me say, I've been to other bowling parties,  like Centereach,  where there are 2 assigned staff to each party to oversee parties.  This place had no such protocol in place.  Also, if parents are to be right next to each child or full responsibility for an accident injury, then provide waivers to set this so. They DID NOT! I recently had this case looked into by their claims department,  who are trying to deem this fault all on me. I think NOT. With that being said,  I've tried to call back, claim manager John, but no response.  I feel I do NOT matter and nor does my daughter as well as the promise.  I had a 2,000 dollar hospital bill and 50 dollar office bill for stich removal that I was looking for compensation. The bowling alley promise me and never gave! read more

STTTTRRRRIKKKEEE! Dudes, it's BOWLING. It's reliving my 90's youth. It's nostalgia and great fun. Like many things these days, we came here with a Groupon that was bowling for two hours for two people including shoe rental and I think it was about $12-15 dollars. Sweet! I enjoyed the black light bowling, even if they did play the Maroon 5 "Animals" song twice in a span of 30 minutes. The computers have fun graphics, whether you're throwing down strikes or gutter balls. I'll be honest, I had a few of each. We really did have a fun night out the two times we came here. The staff is wonderful and super helpful, they really work hard here and it shows. It looks like they have specials for every day of the week which is great. An affordable and fun night out, and a great way to do something "different". I think maybe I'll join up in a league one day, like I did back in elementary and middle school (don't judge). But I think I'll have to be able to get a LITTLE bit better on my bowling skills before I do that. Maybe next time I should have them leave on the bumpers...for, you know, "practice". read more

I love this place. It's clean. All of the staff are polite and friendly. Had my son's 11th birthday party here last year. It's worth the drive and the food isn't bad at all. The fried chicken is the best. We like playing on thre side that isn't lit. Thre music is pretty good as well. I like coming early as soon as it opens because it's pretty empty. read more

Very disappointed today. Normally when we go bowling we see staff sanitizing between customers and we didn't see any tables today be cleaned. All of the bowling balls were left in the ball rails on the lanes so we had to manually move to add in our own balls we brought into rotation. Super over priced. $60 for 3 people to bowl 2 games each One sever running back and forth with a decent amount of customers bowling that she wasn't able to touch down except for the one time she dropped off the food so we couldn't reorder drinks and snacks. When we finally tracked her down for the check she kept apologizing for doing as she said "12 things at once" Working in the service industry myself I know how hard it is being one server on during the pandemic but as far as cleaning in between quests I'm highly disappointed and won't be back for a while. read more

Babylon lanes have been around for a very long time. Always go on Sunday it's much cheaper. The music is horrible. Half of the lanes was fully lit up. The other lanes were dark. Food was pretty reasonable in taste and pricing. Customer service was ok as well. There is a new arcade that was just put in the bowling alley. Overall experience was ok. read more

Super clean location with a bar and concessions counter, bowling shop and an arcade. There seemed to be a good variety of food options too. I haven't been bowling in around five years so I'm not sure if this is considered expensive but I went on an early Sunday afternoon and paid $7.29 per person, per game. In addition to that, the rental fee for the shoes was $5.80. For one game for one adult and a child, the total bill came out to a little over $25 which I think is a bit ridiculous for one game. They do have weekly specials after a certain time but the times of their special is not convenient to those going with their young child, like myself. I also thought it was a bit strange that when we were assigned a lane, half of the building had the lights off and the other side, they were on. They gave us a lane on the dark side; I'm not sure if the other side was reserved or what, but I just thought it was strange considering it wasn't like one of those glow in the dark bowling nights. I didn't get any food but a nice girl came over and asked if we'd like to order anything. I didn't think there were servers at bowling alleys so that was a pleasant surprise. The arcade area was pretty clean but it's kind of expensive as well. You pay $1 for the card (that you'll probably lose after leaving), and for every $5, I believe it's 10 "credits" and each game is ranges from 2 to 10 credits so it can add up quickly. read more

I happen to really like Babylon lanes. I have been bowling at this location for many years. They used to hold one of the PBA tournaments here. These lanes in my opinion are more challenging to bowl on. If you are really interested in bowling I suggest to start here. If you can bowl on these lanes you will do excellent at most other places. This Center is clean and even has a pro shop that will set you up. By the time I was able to get back to bowling the pro shop had changed hands and I have not really had an opportunity to do business with the new owner. That said it looks Better than ever and if the level of service is the same or Better than its excellent. There are a lot of arcade games and a full bar so if bowling isn't for you there are more options available to you. The staff is friendly and ready to help what ever your needs are. This is a great place to roll at. All said and done this is a bowlers place where they can accommodate even people that hate or are bad at bowling. read more

It gets pricy if you don't pay attention and have fun. My family of four played four rounds on a Saturday night, cost about $150 not including a pitcher of beer for us, Gatorades and pizza for the youngins. Don't mind paying for it since we had fun but definitely would work on the food stand. Credit card machine was broken or something and it took forever to get the pizza. The attendants, while very helpful and sweet, were bombarded and took forever to help us out. I would recommend more staff and a better system for the food stand. read more

They kicked us out of the establishment even though it was their own fault. Me and my 11 other friends were casually bowling, bought over $100 in food and were kicked because their own gutters get the ball stuck, which wasn't our fault because we were amateur bowlers. They also gave slow service, and took over 15 minutes to deliver drinks and when my friend was going to order a water, there were 3 employees at open and told him to wait for the other server lady to come down from the attic, which took over 20 minutes. It was a terrible experience, and the pizza was of lower quality similar to that of the school pizza you might've ate as a kid. Another problem was a lack of bowling balls, as we could barely find any that were a good weight, either to heavy or to light. I would not visit again, and the employees were not welcoming or nice. The final discrepancy was that the food was quite pricy for the amount you received. $15 for 6 pieces of chicken tenders, and a small serving of fries. This place is truly just okay, but on a busy night it's not worth the money. It used to be better but now with the shared table and chairs it's super awkward when you have to share a lane with another party. There aren't really enough balls to go around. The arcade is over priced and for whatever odd reason they "don't do pitchers" of anything except beer. The bathrooms are just ok on a weeknight, and unacceptable on a Saturday night. And I'm sure the cost of food and drinks is probably right up there. At least there's no more smoking in the alley's anymore so you don't come home smelling like a huge cigarette. Equipped with the newest in bowling technology, I did appreciate the awesome LCD screen scoreboards that give you some pretty nifty stats like your average ball speed, how many % of open frames, etc. While the blacklight bowling may be appealing to most, I actually prefer to be able to see what I'm doing. I actually found the blacklight to be distracting, especially since they didn't really have music at a high enough volume. And what's up with the video projection of music videos? Way too distracting, if nothing else, I actually found it annoying. Perhaps I'm just getting too old for this type of bowling and should stick with my Lanes & Games in Boston. Very good experience today after coming with three children. We had a Groupon, which offered significant savings. The lady behind the counter was nice enough to tell me that I should save the Groupon another day bc it was Kids Fest, where kids bowled for free for one hour. Very pleasant surprise. I think I had 3 or 4 birthday parties here as a young buck. Used to be an absolute dump, but they've come a long way recently.

Don't bowl here. Their ball return broken my ball's grip. They told me to leave the ball and they would fix it. Well 6 weeks later I still don't have my ball and now they cannot find it. Apparently either they lost it to begin with or forgot to call me when it was done and then lost it. Either way they have horrible customer service here. read more
