I've been looking forward to taking my daughter here for awhile since it's local but I think we've been to too many play places by now because I was sadly not tooo impressed by this place mostly because I was surprised how small it was. We paid $26 for 2 hours open play which included a $11 game card - however, that card got us barely any games and I knew instantly if I didn't slow things down we were going to be done with this place in less than a halfhour. We dragged out some time on the indoor playground which definitely had some nice climbing areas and slides.. but before you know it, we're back at the games! We still had fun though especially due to the playground but on a summer day I was thinking eh maybe we should have just gone to a park's playground if this was going to be the best part.. Our favorite game was a unique skeeball one they had and the claw machine. The bounce house was fine it was nice it had a basketball hoop but not much more than that. They had a toddler section with toys but my 5 year old daughter seemed a little old for it or had a lot of those toys- definitely good for younger ones though like siblings. I wasn't a fan of everyone having to take their shoes off.. especially adults I would have figured could keep them on. I'm guessing they would make you buy socks if you didn't bring any due to sandals. At least they had cubbies. I feel like I could see a birthday party being fun here so maybe that would be a different perspective. When we went, it happened to be us and just 2 other families so it was pretty quiet. Oh speaking of parties.. it took awhile for us to finally be able to book here for open play because we were always looking for a weekend and usually they reserve morning blocks for parties (leaving open play times like late afternoon 3/4/5pm. We were hoping for earlier slots to open up at some point but no luck. It is nice that this place is located in the town of Bellmore so you can walk to other places within the town before/after for food, coffee, even a movie, etc. read more

Had my younger sons birthday here today. His older brother had his party here almost 2 years ago so obviously he needed to have his here too. I was less than impressed this time. A few of the machines including VR were out of order which was a bummer. We paid $181 for a "theme" which was paper plates, 2 small Mylar balloons and a special visitor, I'm not sure it was worth it as the kids didn't really notice. The girls working were super nice and attentive even with a bunch of unruly 5 year olds. Brought my kids here the other day and we had a great time. Small establishment but they really make it count. There's a bounce and play area with slides in the back and the rest of the place is an arcade. Arcades include your typical skee ball, basketball, wheel spin, etc. They use the old school system of arcade machines that give you those long lines of tickets whenever you win. My kids were fascinated by this setup since it's different from every place else that just has your earnings on the card. They have been clamoring to return ever since. We came into Planet Play for the first time with our 3yo children for a birthday party we were invited to. Been in the community for the last 4 years and have ran past on numerous occasions and thought it was a bit older of a crowd. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked inside and they asked us to remove our shoes, which is a big plus for me because it gives off a much cleaner vibe overall. It has an old school arcade vibe, especially with tickets being dispensed from the machines. A few of them were not functioning, and I felt bad asking the staff to replenish the tickets for them to open the machines and there be tickets inside, but obviously not their fault. There was also a large bounce house and a gym area for the kids to run around, and overall I thought it fit the age group very well. Afterwards, they had pizza (from Franks across the street - our favorite) Overall, would definitely recommend for birthday parties, and will be checking out open play in the future. read more

Had my son's 4th birthday party here. You basically select your package and then leave the rest of the work to Planet Play. Kids each get a game card for the arcade and can redeem tickets for prizes. There is also a play area for the kids to climb and slide as well as an area just for the babies. The staff here is friendly and helpful. Plus they took pics of all the kids. Pizza, juice and cupcakes for the kids. Outside food is not allowed so we had to order food through Planet Play. The pizza, garlic knots, chicken tenders and fries were actually better than expected (pizzeria across the street). If you don't want the stress of planning a party, Planet Play is your answer. If you're looking for a place for a toddler as young as two to run around, this is the perfect place. Some places are geared more towards older toddlers but this is the perfect size for the 2-3 year olds. However, older kids can still enjoy the play area as well as the mini arcade. We had my son's 9th birthday party at Planet Play. He and his friends all had tons of fun! As I'd figured, they wanted to spent most of the time in the play/climbing/bounce area. They loved when Astro the alien arrived! Astro even went in the bounce house, which they thought was hilarious! A few of the parents enjoyed sitting in the massage chairs while their kids played. Everyone had a great time! It was also easier than other party places for me as the host. Decorations and goody bags were already done, so those were two less things I had to do. Perfect place for young kids to get their energy out! They have a bounce house, a big jungle gym area complete with a couple of slides, a place to shoot balls out, and plenty of places to adults to walk around making sure their children aren't killing each other. They also have a bunch of arcade games that millennials like myself enjoy as well (skee ball and air hockey included). They even have a little area for the younger crowd that is away from the bigger kid area and has smaller toys. Theres a place to get drinks and snacks (albeit mostly candy, but hey, they need to make their money). Prices seem reasonable for birthday parties. The staff here is young, but attentive. Excellent Indoor play place for kids! I've been to many indoor place places but this one was the best! I love that they have an appointment system- it makes things so much more organized and less crowded which I loved!!! They also care about parents and their relaxation hahah- there is massage chairs and latte!!! Simply great! It's also not ridiculously huge spot therefore easy to keep track of your child! Many activities and due to the fact they allow smaller crowds per sessions, it's easily for your child to get as many chances as he wants on a arcade games and machines. Came here for a birthday party. It was great and my daughter loved it. She was so excited the second we got there. This place was a lot of fun. For the birthday party, all the kids got a card to play the arcade machines. That was fun though a couple seemed rigged and didn't really play well or didn't give tickets when they were supposed to. But the staff was nice when I said one machine didn't give tickets and they gave my daughter a voucher for tickets. The kids can play and bounce and run around like maniacs. Then they can go to the counter and turn in the tickets and get a prize. The whole thing is fast. Like 2 hours in and out. Good when the kids are little and that's what they can handle. We celebrated my daughter's 5th year in Planet Play: WE ALL LOVED IT. The place is clean, the employees are so nice and kind, the pizza was good its a allergy's free place which makes you feel safe about your invites very important the place is SAFE the games are all in great condition basically new and age appropriate. Came to visit planet play today. It's a cute play near by in Bellmore. They charged us $20 per child to play from 4:15-6pm closing time. That includes 3 arcade games as well. My daughter came in sandals so we had to purchase socks for $3.25. Everyone is required to walk around in socks! We also paid $10 for both girls to go on a VR ride. There was another "non-included" wind tunnel thing they wanted to try but we did not due to another separate fee. My 7 & 5 yo girls had fun. They enjoyed the jungle gym playground most of all. The arcade games included were ok. They also have a small toddler play area near a small sitting area for parents. I took one star off for making me buys socks. Was excited to take my niece and nephew here for a little fun. The space itself is on the smaller side. They have maybe around 20 arcade type games and then a smaller bouncy house & a jungle gym. The jungle gym is a nice size and the kids have fun with that and also the bouncy house was good. The part that I don't like is the games. These games are the most strangest prices ranging from 550 to 6 even 7, I'm not sure if even more on some. That is insane! These games literally take 20 seconds for the most part to do and it's that much money!! Rip off in my opinion. You pay 20 dollars a child and that only allows the child to play two or three games and then after that you have to add on the card. Who has that type of money. They also have a smaller little section for toddlers which is really cute and it has some toys and a kitchen and a little swing, etc with a television. read more

Very expensive and not accommodating!!! I took my son and his friends to open play last weekend. I was trying to do a small thing for his birthday. After spending $160 I had brought small cupcakes for the kids. I was rudely told I wasn't allowed to bring outside food because they didn't know what was in there. I replied that I hadn't seen that on their website. We said we would clean it up but they expected us to take it out of our 4 year olds hands. Then later one of the girls that worked there came by again to specifically show us where the no food policy was. It was extremely rude and totally killed the vibe of a nice afternoon I tried to plan for my sons birthday. I was beyond infuriated. I WILL never go back!!!! read more

Plenty here for the kids to keep them busy, and the fact that the place isn't gigantic and thundering with noise makes it a lot more enjoyable for parents and easier to keep an eye on the little ones.
