Great place to bowl in Springfield! I know there are few options, but this place before the others for sure. Great food menu, as well as a full bar area. They have over 30 plus lanes, so even on league nights you can still get a lane. When you don't feel like bowling, there are slot machines, and pool tables. This is my bowling home. read more

I got into the bowling alley and it looks great we go up to the register and get our shoes and find the outrageous prices. Next we go to our lane and the bumpers are automatically up and we have to manually move the bumbers up and down. When I go up to bowl it is so dark I can't see the arrows on the lane. Poor, poor management. Came for all you can bowl after 8 on Monday with friends before moving from town. Arrived at 8:45, after a friend had reserved side by side lanes. I asked if we could split 2 and 3 across lane 5 and 6 to save time per bowler as we paid $15 for unlimited bowling. They sarcastically asked "I dont know how that would save any time" then said no. managers and employees were extremely rude, and they advertise specials that they won't hold up to. we were told based on advertising in the bowling alley and the on website that there would be unlimited bowling on friday night. we get there as soon as it starts and then we are told that it is not unlimited bowling, but two hours on a lane. this was stated NO WHERE for friday nights specials. but there are days where 2 hours is specified (see pictures). we typically go on tuesdays where the prices are reduced but we figured we could fit more games in on friday if we stayed longer. but it ended up being more expensive for the same amount of games. this was absolutely ridiculous, and management was no help at all. don't advertise specials that you aren't willing to hold up to. 2 HOURS IS NOT UNLIMITED read more

The absolute worst experience. They fail to mention that prices are per person per game. Went with my wife and her friend and they charged me $70 to play two games. Absolutely ridiculous. They take your card to hold on tab without explaining anything to you before you start so you're forced to pay their absolutely outrageous prices. Astonishing that this place is even still open. Though I guess they probably stay open by conning people into spending seventy dollars on two games of bowling. I have never in my life, at any bowling alley, ever payed more than $25 total. This is the worst bowling alley I have ever been too simply because of management. The manager appeared to be a racist as we had a diverse group. After one of the members on our group accidentally got a ball stuck, he kicked us out with no explanation. The manager was unpleasant and is not a person who should be running a business. Awesome service! We go bowling every other month and we always go here. The food tastes good. Tad bit expensive but expectedly so. We love going bowling and I'm happy to say that I love it there when we go. Super fast with everything we get like shoes and food and even the arcade in the back. Went bowling with a large group on a Sunday after 5pm and the prices on the internet and the sign at the desk said games were 2.59 per person/game. Brought this to the attention of the clerk and he said Fall hours took effect so it's now 6pm. He refused to give me the advertised price. A manager was suppose to return my call and never has. Was over charged after repeatedly telling them we did not need extra shoes. When we realized they still over charged us, we called them to get it fixed but was told they could not fix it unless we came back in person. This is impossible as we live out of state and was in town for the holidays. The bowling alley, balls over all environment were what you would expect from an older alley. Pretty upset about both being over charged and unwillingness to fix their mistake. read more

I only rated this a 1 star because zero stars was not an option. This place is a dump, is way overpriced, and the staff is terrible. 4 of us went in to bowl at noon on a weekend. We bowled 3 games each and it was $120.00!! Sodas were $5.00 a piece. OUTRAGEOUS!! The only lights that were on were the ones over the pin deck and a few over the concourse. It was so dark, I could not see the dots and arrows on the lanes. When I approached the concession counter to get a drink, I had to flag someone down to help then he pushed me off to the main counter. The main counter sent me back to the concession stand. This place is horribly managed and I have no idea how it stays open. I have been a bowler in Springfield for close to 40 years and I have not been in this facility for close to 20. I can say that I won't go back. I'll happily continue to spend my money locally and recommend to anyone to check out King Pin Lanes. read more

Only had one person working at the counter. She didn't know how to do some of the information on the computer like the rewards club. Help came, but was still not very fast. Help left, then another party came in after us, they were at the counter for over 30 minutes, in the meantime I needed to trade shoe sizes for my child. They never acknowledged me waiting there. I have to say this is by far the worst place to attend. The staff is rude and act like they are struggling to serve you. Every time we needed food,drinks,added games I had to hunt someone down. The kitchen cook was awesome and you could see that he was embarrassed by their behavior. We went to the bar to get a drink,after waiting forever. She told me I had to go back to the front desk to get it. Well there was nobody at the front desk either.I then said why when you are behind the bar now. She walked away and didn't say a word? I was then told that I couldn't bing a cake in because I didn't book a party. Really after I spent $250 dollars. There is a privacy policy that I needed to sign if I brought the cake in. When I asked for the policy to sign she told me no she couldn't give it to me because I didn't book a party?Not to add it was a Birthday party for my Handicapped Son. All he wanted for his Birthday was to go bowling.Totally overpriced and poor service. I will never recommend this place to anyone! read more

Clean 36(?) lane bowling alley that is suited for all ages and group sizes. There is a game room, full bar, food and even karaoke on select nights. Plus they have in-between (1/2) shoe sizes! read more

I moved to Springfield last December, and the town I am from had a tiny smoke-filled bowling alley so this is a HUGE improvement. It's clean, they have a good choice of food and drinks, including the bar. Food is a tad bit pricy but I expect that at a bowling alley. I booked a birthday party and told them we would be needing extra pizza for the adults. When we arrived we where told they didn't have any extra pizza and we couldn't bring any in ourselves. They forgot to give us the bowling pin and when we asked for it it was used and dirty. Very disorganized place. We will not be returning. read more
