It's been more than 10 years since I've been back to AMF. Since then they have undergone a major renovation and the facility looked so much better. I almost couldn't recognize that it's the same bowling alley. The lanes are great. We did not have any issue when we were there and I scored over 100 both games. The wings and pizza are not bad. Finished 3 pitchers of Coors and I managed to score over 100 both games. It was a good night. They have billiards and arcade games as well for those who don't bowl. So happy to be back to AMF. read more

I don't appreciate putting in as much as we do to be League members (I pay for two) to having our league Bowler Discount (it isn't like I get double because I pay for two) eaten up by an 18% Mandatory "Service Charge". ESPECIALLY, when no one comes to me to take my order at the lane. ESPECIALLY, when it is something that I carry back to my table/lane myself. ESPECIALLY, when I have to retrieve my own refills across the room. We never see lanes or tables cleaned between uses either. I use to tip regularly. We used to eat here regularly. I went here for my 25th birthday party and it was very nice. Me and my friends bold for 2 1/2 hours with food and drinks included. The reservation altogether was a little over 300 for nine people to bowl and eat so not really a bad price at all. read more

Typical bowling alley experience with average pricing. Each pair of lanes share a console so you will need to switch between screens when inputting info. Bumper guards are manually operated so they cannot be set to automatically raise for some bowlers and not others. This is a really nice bowling alley. It's a little hidden and dark outside, but the inside is cleaned and updated. The help desk is centrally located. We went for a birthday party and had a good time. All of the machines work well and were clean. They have a full bar and stadium style snacks. The food is pretty awful, but the drinks had lots of options and were heavy pours. Let's be real: you don't go to a bowling alley to eat. The lanes were well kept and the staff was very responsive. This place have got a lot cleaner going to have about two years ago. It's pretty much doesn't have a stink of old sock like it did in the past and compared to other bowling area it may seem more fun down but it's also cheaper. Monday they have 10.89$ unlimited bowling after 6 pm and that includes shoes. Considering shoe rental is 4.19$ that's a pretty good deal! There's a lot of older leagues here but when we come we never have to wait for a lane to open up. The food here is pretty decent for the price and the bathroom is clean. read more

Treated my team and I like crap. We pay money to be in leagues and the management today was horrid. Turned the lights out on us as we were pre-bowling for league for their dark night and had the audacity to say we shouldn't have picked to come bowl for league on a Friday. Great way to treat your league bowlers. you literally have light switches for half of the lanes on one side. Couldve easily had us on one half of the side with the lights on and just simply turned off when we were done. There are only 3 actually good people on staff. horrible experience read more

Honestly, it's nothing spectacular. It's a howling alley, you bowl and have a good time. The snack bar.... could use some help with some of the items. Tonight I had nachos, the canned chili on top... so gross, so salty. Other items are good like the chicken tender and flat breads. Seating is uncomfortable. It is kinda clean. Staff is polite. The gentleman who oiled the lanes this evening was awesome. He was so nice. He did not seemed bugged that he had to Oil the lanes unexpectedly. The surrounding area is also a little questionable, so be in your A game. read more

We used a GroupOn, which was nice as it got the two of us two hours of bowling with shoe rentals. So, definitely check-out the website before planning a trip here to see if you can snag a deal. Selection of food was pretty standard, but have to say their fries are pretty amazing. It's your classic bowling alley without bells and whistles you'd get a some other places. So this is going to be a bit of a strange review. They absolutely deserve their five stars, but the tale is an interesting one. It started out as many Fridays do. Dinner, followed by a round of bowling (or several) with my date of the week (kidding...or am I?). The gentleman working the counter was a gem, and took very good care of us throughout the evening. He came over after realizing we were bowling without hitting the correct buttons, and was kind enough to get us back on track (with nary a wisecrack about following instructions!). We had a grand time, and I'll happily return for more rounds of bowling. Unfortunately, there is a bit of a car break-in problem in the area, and my date's car was a victim of this. They've installed a fence, but the entire bottom portion isn't covered, and people could easily crawl under it. However, the managers came out, swept the glass away, and then were kind enough to vacuum the car with the shop vac at the alley. They took down all of the information, and promised to work with the police and save the footage. While it was an unfortunate incident, lazy or rude managers could have made it so much worse. They even brought us some waters while we were waiting on the phone! They were so thoughtful. However, a suggestion. Park towards the front of the lot, in a well-lit area, in full view of the cameras. We were in a dark spot, and I imagine the thief saw an easy opportunity! read more

Best part of this bowling alley is for sure the lanes, well maintained, electronics seems to work well. Location is questionable, not a safe neighborhood, outside needs work. Tried the food...which is probably the bad portion of the experience. NACHO AVALANCHE is no bueno for sure! Chili sauce should be swapped to bean dip or a better quality chili. Most of the nachos were cold by the time we got them. Small soda pop was $4!!! Overpriced for sure. Best part of the food was the mozzarella sticks and fries. I recommend the bowling, not so much the food. Eat before you go! read more

Starting bowling here in a summer league, first for me. The bowling alley is really well kept, bathrooms clean and staff pleasant. The food that I've tried was actually pretty good, pizza, beer, popcorn, nachos... Now why not a five star?? Staff. Or lack thereof. They had one in the snack bar and one up front but when everyone shows up to check in for the league that just isn't enough. I'll keep updating the review in hopes this improve but until then, give'em a try. read more

They've remodeled the place...so using the scoring is easier. But in doing so, they took out the tables by the scoring - which were more for convenience than anything else. They also took out the jukebox, so you have to listen to whatever they play which is a mix of country, hip hop and rock. I grew up going to this bowling alley but haven't been in at least a decade. My husband and I decided to check it out for their Sunday night special which offers $2.59/game, about half of the normal weekend rate. We were happy to see how good of shape it was after walking in. It's similar to other AMF locations like Boulevard Lanes in Edmond. It's not completely remodeled, such as the keypads at each lane which are still the old versions. They also have a full bar with beer buckets and pitchers. Overall it's a good bowling alley, and we plan to take advantage of more of their weekly specials like $2.22 games after 8 pm on Tuesdays. I was surprised to see this place only have 3 stars. This place is pretty nice. A nice bowling alley with a small arcade and a spot to get food. What else could you ask for? Lol. The staff for the most part is very kind and helpful. I have been there a few times around closing time and that's when it gets a little sketchy out In the parking lot but besides that I have enjoyed every visit. Be sure to check Groupon. It really seems too soon for an update, but I've gone in too deep, guys. Something happened and now I have my own balls, shoes, and bag. But in bowling more often, I have a few more things to say about this place! I've been here at least 8 times in the past two weeks. Why? Well, I really like bowling. But they also currently have a summer pass (starting May 18, ending September 7) that costs round about $26 (which includes the price of shoes if you need them) that gives you 3 games a day (Monday-Friday open-8pm, Saturday/Sunday open-4pm). So really, it's super easy to get your money's worth. It's a good deal for the boyfriend and I because there are just days we might be tight on money, but... hey, as long as we have the gas for the short distance to AMF we at least can bowl three games to practice and pass the time. I mentioned in my previous review there's daily specials and those are on their site, so go there to look at 'em. NOW. The service is pretty good all in all. Everyone has been real nice and I think we've built a rapport with a couple of the guys. Do we go too much...? Ah well. Even when an employee first encountered the summer fun pass, they didn't seem frustrated or put out at all when they couldn't figure out how to make it correct in the system. They apologized, told us they would go get their manager, and did so in a timely manner. Now that they've all gotten used to it, it's a smooth one minute interaction and off to bowling we go. Jim who runs the bowling shop in the alley is a super nice guy. He's been in the bowling biz for 40 years or so and has plenty of knowledge that's accessible to newbie folk like me. My boyfriend and I bought our balls from him and we also got our bags and shoes there. He's really good about drilling the balls and genuinely wants to make sure that they're perfectly comfortable. Went here last week with a group of 10+ people. Finally answered my wife's question about the sings that say you can bowl all day for one flat fee. The price was $10 and included shoes. My wife was annoyed they didn't have anything smaller than a child's 8 or 11. Whatever it was it wasn't small enough for our 2 yr old daughter. Honestly wasn't that big a deal to me since my daughter had to be held and helped to push a ball down the ramps they provide. The place was way more busy than I expected. To be honest, the place could have used a bit more cleanliness. It took probably a good 30-45mins before someone came by to clean up some of the surrounding messes. They could probably use a little more enforcement of safety rules as well, unless I'm mistaken. I'm used to the rules stating that food/drinks stay OFF the lanes and on the counters behind the bowling lanes. While there, a group of 20-30yr olds left probably 6 glass beer bottles under and around their seats by the lanes which I had to stop my 2 yr old daughter from playing with. We also had an altercation with a very rude family who allowed their young child to run around dump a cup of liquid all over our belongings. The issue arose when they didn't say anything to us, choosing instead to pretend it didn't happen. Then when they overheard one of our party letting everyone know she saw their kid dump a drink and realized our shoes/purses/phones were potentially wet, they chose to pitch a holier than thou fit and start name calling, trash talking, and making threatening gestures. My wife immediately notified the employees who grabbed their managers and quickly came to our aid to ensure nothing got out of hand. The scene was fairly loud, but the family was ushered out and the staff apologized repeatedly to us. Prior to the other family leaving the manager offered to move us if we felt our children were in danger. Overall we were pleased with the reaction of the management and staff. After the irresponsible and rude family left we noticed a handful of margaritas and other mixed drinks left where they had been sitting. I suppose for this reason I would say this isn't really a "family friendly" establishment since they serve alcohol freely which lead to a potentially hazardous situation where we had 3 kids under 9 and they also had at least 3 kids being supervised by drunken idiots who cannot behave like responsible adults. On a side note: the food wasn't that great and I didn't catch the prices. Cheese sticks were good though, and my wife liked the chicken wings. I did not care for the nachos. read more

AMF Windsor Lanes provided a good night's entertainment during the post Thanksgiving Holiday. The lanes were busy but not too hectic. There was a bit of a longer wait to pay and rent shoes. But I was able to rent shoes and bowl unlimited games for $13 ! The lanes were clean and functional. Scores were accurately tracked by the computer. Pitchers of beer can be purchase if of legal age. I was even ID'd to pick up a beer cup. We bowled the night away without a hitch. read more

my friends and family and I went we played a game and a half they turned the game off turned the game off before closing time. When I asked about it and we had 4 frames left or even why she turned it off early it's policy turn them off before closing time and still try charging for full price. She said (y'all people) just need to pay and go. Like what who says that? This is the manager at that very rude and racist and didn't not care I will never go back to this place a as long as she works there... oh and we spent over $500 on drinks and food. I have been coming here for years. The new tables and chairs fit the facility very well and is a great upgrade. Still very disappointed in the food, every time I come in it is made a different way, sometimes good and sometimes not so good. The nacho cheese and chili is terrible. The lanes are in good condition and seems like the maintenance is maintained. While I was there it did not seem like there were too many calls for the mechanics. He was at the desk most of the night. They have a pretty good selection of leagues available including a youth program on Friday nights. read more

The restaurant here sucks so bad. Over done fried pickles, Cold nachos, soggy sandwiches. The cook and the girls behind the counter should be fired or retrained. I won't go into detail but I will say it would be 1 star if the front of the house bowling service wasn't so great. Fix your kitchen. I Tried to bowl again on Feb 25th at 6pm. All the lanes were reserved (40 lanes) for teams. Apparently this happens a lot. The people at the front do not give two fucks that people drive here to play and they have no lanes open for walk-ins. Terrible service, extremely short handed, food order was wrong, took more then 30 minutes to get the food, and had to argue to get my money back without a receipt even though the ticket order was clearly different from the food received. Waited for more then 30 minutes in every line, checking in checking out and the food line. We won't be back to this establishment. read more

I have been coming here for years. Last night the waitress was very rude to my nephews and myself. One of the guys ordered pizza so pizza came over. So we started eating. 15 min later another pizza came over. We all found out that the 1st pizza was not ours. It was not our fault that they gave us the wrong order. An older lady just came over and rudely told the guys that we ate it so we should pay. Everyone got upset on how rude she was. Making it seem like it was our fault. One of the guys paid but a waiter already came and tossed the pizza in the garbage. So basically we paid for a pizza that was half eaten. I am very disappointed in this place. I use to take the kids here when they were young. To have a rude person ruin the night just sucked. read more

Oh, the wonderful childhood memories I have bowling at Windsor Lanes! I am now 58 and bowl there with my grandkids! The Summer Pass is a STEAL! SO much cheaper than paying full price and you can each bowl THREE games EVERY single day if you wish! My greatest memory as a 12 year old was I was picking out the different bowling balls to "get a feel" and find just the right one to bowl with my sisters and cousins. BUT, as I brought the ball up, as when I would bowl, it slipped from my grip and ever so S-L-O-W-L-Y rolled right into the ceiling-to-floor glass window and shattered the entire thing!! I was horrified, all the while, some hollered, STRIKE!! What a great memory to share with people now days! I wonder if someone is still there that would remember this as it had to be quite pricey to replace! :-) Would love to tell the White's it was ME! lol read more

Bowling was good, but everything else was terrible!! The worst service I have received anywhere in years :/ When we first arrived we were told by Nikki they didn't have two lanes together, and it would be about a 10-15 min wait. We were totally forgotten until 20 mins later I went back up to to the desk and asked why the people just walking in we're getting lanes!! I was furious - absolutely unacceptable. But it got worse because the food & drink service was so slow we had to take turns and relay to stand in line to get our food and drinks ordered and not miss our turns to bowl - every single time!! Don't waste your time or money - go somewhere else. read more

I usually bowl every weekend and come here about 4x per month unless I'm bowling at another alley. It's location isn't the most convenient for me as I live further east towards the center of the city but it's the closest alley. One great thing that this alley has is a $12 all you can bowl for 2 hours which is a great deal. This alley is a lot busier than you'd think for a 40 lane venue. One thing that's a negative about this place is that it's very understaffed. If I'm lucky, there's one person working the front desk and one person at the snack bar. I've seen times when there's is only one employee that is running back and forth between the front desk and the snack bar. I've waited 10 minutes at the snack bar before someone finally noticed me. The food is ok but overpriced. WARNING: These lanes are very oily so your all will not spin much. Granted, I have a plastic ball so it doesn't hook much anyway but I bowled with my cousin last weekend and he bowls two handed with tons if revs and his ball couldn't get around to the pocket a lot of the time. Overall, this is a good bowling alley and you get what you pay but I recommend you eat somewhere else before you bowl here. read more

This is by far THE WORST place I have ever been to. From bad managment to the worst customer service. Nicole Is apparently the General Manager and seems to be doing a terrible job. She had an attitude, took her 30 minutes to get out of the office to come to the desk and help. She let her emotions get the best of her and in my experience that is not a good fit for a General Manager to act. The girl at the desk was nice and polite her name was Ally but, that is the only good thing about that place. The food was so expensive like $4 for a small drink and combo meal was $10. The Kids next to us kept bowling on our lane when we went to the snack bar or to the restroom. We told Nicole what was happening and she said "There's nothing I can do about that." I can't believe this place is still up and running by the looks of it, it shouldn't be. The manager Sara was there also and she didn't have a smile on her face and was very rude also.
