As you can imagine, with me only being 22 at the time it was the scariest thing I had ever experienced. I was worried I would never get back to my normal. My therapist, Chris was very accommodating and supporting my entire journey back to wellness! He assured me that we would set goals and expectations based on where I was and where I wanted to be. They worked with my schedule whether I needed to be there first thing in the morning or late in the day. When I missed an appointment, they would call and hold me accountable! I loved feeling like my progress was just as important to me as it was to him. I would not choose another facility let alone another therapist! I plan on going back in since it's been about two years and I am now experiencing some popping when rotating my knee. I will update my review after my next journey!

When I showed up to my appointment yesterday, Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 3:30 p.m., both doors to the office were locked & one had a real estate-type padlock on it. I banged on both of the doors with no response. I called the phone number I had which was in the 516 area code (we are in Buffalo, area code 716). Someone eventually answered who did not seem to know what she was talking about & was hard to hear. She tried to get me to make another appointment. I told her to just forget about it, I want nothing to do with Advance Physical Therapy. It looks to me as though Advance Physical Therapy was evicted from the premises, as evidenced by the real estate-type lockbox on the door!!!

Continuing care means you can live at Gates Circle senior living and if you find at some point you need to move on to assisted living, you have priority and can move to Canterbury Woods Williamsville, which offers the full range of services. An up-front fee guarantees residency for life. The living units are spacious. They have state of the art kitchens and fixtures. There is a restaurant on the premises. With the meal plan, you may never have to cook another meal. The top floor features a bar and a superb view of Buffalo. The ground floor has a theatre room, a gracious meeting/sitting room with amenities, a fancy lunch area, and a wonderful restaurant. Dining at the restaurant was very pleasant. While small in size, there is a surprisingly large number of offerings on the menu. Service was efficient. Dishes are cooked to order, which results in a leisurely paced meal. Everything at our table was prepared expertly. There was no problem with special requests to accommodate my friend's dietary restrictions. Like its suburban counterpart, Canterbury Woods Gates Circle is for the wealthy. They know their market and service it well.

Why would you allow,or clear,a patient for AN ELECTIVE SURGERY,when that patient had sepsis (Enterococcus faecalis),not responding whatsoever to treatment,her heart valve also had this growing on it (They were going to send her to Mercy Hospital, NEVER DID) and pneumonia. They first said she was too sick to go to the OR,then someone said they were going to take,then no again.This went on for about 5 or 6 changes.We asked time again what was going on ,and we're told,shes going into surgery.... Later that night coded.... Sent to ICU... Passed away at 8:03 a.m. the next day,but im thinking it was before that. Shouldn't the heart,which runs everything AND the bacteria be "fixed" or tended to first? Absolutely NO communication between staff,nobody could answer ANYTHING and when you did ask,you were really putting them out. In my surgical experience, if you so much as sneezed ,you were rescheduled.This was NOT life threatening.No common sense much less medical knowledge Thank you Sisters of Charity Hospital for taking my mother. I went to this office hoping to have a toothache cleared up (pain started over the weekend, I saw…read morethe provider that Monday). I left with a treatment plan that was totally backwards. The dentist I saw wanted me to take care of things that had nothing to do with my chief complaint. Being new to Buffalo I was really disappointed with this office.. I even called after I left the office that day to see if a script was sent out and if I did have an infection because the treatment plan just didn't make sense to myself or my partner. No script sent out, no notation of infection. I went and got a second opinion elsewhere after 2 more days of pain and I did indeed have an infection that I needed to clear up before any other dental procedure be done. Long story short, do not go here if it is not a routine exam. The assistants and front desk staff are AMAZING though, really sweet from intake to xray.
