I visited the office as a guest and was stared at the entire time while I waited for my friend, as if I was going to take extra free coffee or something from the Keurig machine. My friend ended up going elsewhere and she is better off for it, sadly she received an overly priced bill from Amherst Dental/Dr Ang, two months later. She's a local dental hygienist and doesn't want retaliation on a review by Dr Ang., which you can see by other responses this office is very retaliatory. Go elsewhere. So many better offices nearby.

I am writing to share our experience with Dovetail Dental regarding my husband David's treatment…read more In February 2025, David saw Dr. Senat for a check-up and agreed to have his teeth extracted. We were charged $2,850.00 for the extractions. On April 30, 2025, David underwent the procedure using only nitrous oxide. In hindsight, we believe Dr. Senat should have advised against this or referred David to an oral surgeon. The experience was extremely painful, and Dr. Senat was ultimately unable to extract Tooth 22. We were then referred to Apex Oral Surgery, where we had to pay an additional fee for Dr. Torio to successfully complete the extraction. The initial treatment plan from Dovetail totaled $14,161.00, which notably included a charge for a "backup" denture. After subsequent issues with Dr. Senat, we requested a transfer to another dentist within the practice. In February 2026, David had four implants placed by Dr. Torio. Following the healing period, we requested a new treatment plan from Dovetail to integrate a bottom denture with the implants. The quote provided was $14,157.00, with potential additional costs bringing the total to $14,995.00. Seeking a second opinion, we visited Bedford Dental Care. Their quote for the exact same procedure was $6,954.95--a difference of over $8,000.00. Due to the excessive pricing and the difficulties we encountered during the extraction process, we would advise others to research alternative providers before committing to a major procedure at Dovetail Dental. He also did work that was unnecessary. I have been an Aspen patient for over 10 yrs, about 5 yrs at the Daniel Webster location. I have periodontal disease (2.5 surgeries) and they maintain my teeth and gums beautifully. Always take the time to instruct. The dentists are quite conservative in their evaluations; I am always given alternatives, if applicable. The one time the hygienist used a treatment not covered by my ins and I was charged, the main office, when contacted, credited me and sent me a detailed breakdown of all previous charges for my records. I don't care that the dentists are frequently changed--I have never had an issue with any of them. The hygienists are great, the billing people explain everything (far more info than I can get from my ins co!), and I finally have healthy gums after 15 yrs of treatment. No upwelling, no pressure to use extra services. Highly, highly recommend.
