    Spaghetti for kids

I wasn't impressed... I was enticed in to this place by the pictures here on Yelp but when I actually tried the food I was not impressed. The risotto balls entree was good but didn't come with enough sauce for me, and the risotto had a horrible taste and texture. I ended up switching main courses with a friend because I was about to send it back. I ended up eating the crumbed snapper but it was just fried snapper with mayonnaise... some sort of flavor of something would have been much nicer. I wouldn't return. The good news is, that even sitting outdoors we were nice and toasty by the heaters.

We ended up here two nights in a row. All of us, including the kids were so impressed by the food and service that the kids begged us to go back a second time. I had the vegetarian pizza which was covered in fresh vegetables and and but still light and tasty. My eldest son asked for a variation on the menu and they were very happy to accommodate. The kids menu is really well done too. Finally, my partner had the Gnocchi Gorgonzola... so good! Desert was amazing too. I really wanted to try the Sticky Fig Pudding but liked my son's suggestion of warm apple pie with ice cream, which was great. My partner had an affogato and it was the best affogato either of us had ever had. So tonight I am basically back to try the pudding because it's going to be amazing. The thing I really loved was the old fashioned professional service. The staff were so attentive. Water was always full. Everything was clean and the staff kept a really good check on our needs. We managed to get a table both times but I would book ahead just in case.

    Go here for takeaway.

The Short: Probably one of the best pizza meals I've had in recent memory. Price reflects quality. The Long: Had a great experience here for take away dinner. Chose the Barbeque Classic Pizza, and a Garlic Cheese Toppa. We decided upon the small size for both pizzas, and we're kind of glad we did. The Barbeque Classic was *loaded* with toppings. LOADED. And the toppings were high quality. Great tasting ham and bacon, with spicy pepperoni (well-rendered and crispy), shredded chicken hiding under all those smallgoods, and this delicious, sweet, BBQ sauce drizzled over the top. The Garlic Cheese Toppa was nice, but I did find it repeating terribly on me throughout the night because the garlic seemed a bit raw when we ate our item. On both of these items, the bases were the perfect balance between thin and crispy, but not so crispy that they flaked everywhere like the Pizza Hut thin and crispy of days gone. Clearly prepared fresh on-site. Apart from that minor negative about the garlic, the experience is one we would relive time and time again if we were locals to Caloundra.

The food was pretty spectacular. We walked in without knowing you needed to make reservation. The host told us we could wait for the next table and it wouldn't be long. Little did we know they forgot about us and gave our table to the group that arrived after us. So we ended up waiting longer than expected. The food made up for the crap service in the beginning. Select pastas are $12 on Wednesday's. What a steal!

Nothing that can't be cooked at home out of a pasta sauce bottle. Take away pizzas are the best bet

Ordered in Pizza. Great service and the Pizza was fabulous. But yet again, back in Oz and everything is expensive.

Disgusting, undercooked pizza, body shaming comments from owner and bad attitude from store…read moreManager...... best pizza on Sunshine Coast....questionable, to say the least, and after our experience, understandable it hasn't been awarded to them for the last 3 years. Ordered 3 large pizzas, delivered for a total of $79, 45 minute wait, so you would expect 3 large pizza's to turn up. Only 2 large and 1 medium arrived. Asked the delivery guy, why only 2 large and 1 med, he had no idea but hung around looking for a tip. I think not. Called the store, spoke to manager who advised the gluten free is $4 extra and only available in medium. that is not a problem, if you know about it. Asked why I wasn't told this when ordering, response " what do you expect me to do about that?" Nice one, missed the class on customer service, evidently. Surely speaking to the owner, Joe, would provide some courtesy for an outlay of $79.... but no, Joe told me that they charge $4 extra for gluten free, as that is what they pay for it...so the bases aren't made in store, good to know. My question: why was I not informed of this when I ordered, as it isn't on the brochure..... Joe didn't know, of course. Now I have 1 kid with a medium pizza and 2 kids with large pizza's. Joe then decided to body shame, asking if my daughter can eat a whole pizza to herself. Bad move Joe... very poor taste, even worse attitude. Sadly, the pizza went in the bin, the base was not cooked properly, burnt on the edges and doughy underneath, now THAT takes some skill and you would think the staff would have noticed when they tried to cut it...and it wasn't cut, of course .... disappointingly poor form. That's $79 dollars wasted and I suggest everyone save your money and go somewhere else because they will at least cook the pizza properly and show you some decent manners for a better price. Also if you want to see photos of the "pizza" have a look below: https://cdn.discordapp.com/.../4777829561.../20180811_193018.jpg https://cdn.discordapp.com/.../4777829553.../20180811_193629.jpg Also Joe strongly believes in bullying customers if you try to give him feedback on his terrible service. I made a review on my facebook profile and Joe (the owner) saw fit to use the common facebook bullying tactic of reporting usernames under suspicion of not being your real name. I know this was Joe because this was done almost immediately after posting the negative review on my own facebook page since his business page is set up to be reviewed before posting, this means if you leave a negative review, they can simply delete it and only accept the good reviews. Again, avoid this restaurant, the pizza is terrible and the staff are absolutely toxic and full of themselves, especially the business owner Joe. On top of that, uncooked pizza can give you vomiting and diarrhoea, it's not safe to eat. The owner's issue is, instead of taking the opportunity to grow and improve his business, he takes it as a personal attack to his frail ego and resort to immature, petty and highly unprofessional manners (again, harassing, taunting and verbally abusing customers instead of taking steps to improve his business, the toxic staff (including the manager and owner Joe), his low quality food, his inconsiderate nature towards clients and resorting to the following: "Nah nah nah nah nah we got an award years ago(that hasn't been awarded since for the very reasons I listed above) so that means I have no reason to improve/raise my standards and every single person out there is wrong." Also here's a screenshot as Joe tends to hide them after being called out: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/399767498746101761/478094213846925312/unknown.png Avoid this place, they will take your money, won't cook anything properly and verbally abuse and harass you if you point out something that isn't safe to eat. When a business takes priority on their own ego over customer health and safety, then there's something very, very wrong. Also so you are aware, I was not kidding about undercooked pizza making you sick: http://www.foodauthority.nsw.gov.au/_Documents/scienceandtechnical/potentially-hazardous-foods.pdf https://www.thenakedscientists.com/articles/questions/how-dangerous-uncooked-pizza Dominos is a much better alternative, not only do you get much, MUCH more value for your money but you are, at the very least, treated with the basic respect of a human being. A lesson this toxic business could take a page from but chooses not to, resorting to immature tactics instead of trying to improve. Absolutely do not waste your time or money on this place, you deserve better than the treatment this place dishes out.
