I was especially shocked regarding the burnt pizza review and that the owner insisted that next time they show a picture of the box to prove it was actually from this restaurant. Wow. Regardless, we gave it a try to support something local. The service was outstanding. I think our server's name was Tracey. The food was good. However, upon finishing our main course my wife felt very ill. We left the restaurant in a hurry, leaving our wine and not staying for coffee or desert. She was sick for a little over a day. We had shared many of the food items, with the exception of her main course. I called back to the restaurant when I got home to warn them that there might be something wrong with that item. They assured me that it was made fresh that day and others had eaten it. Days later I called back and discussed the experience with one of the staff. I suggested that the only way I was going to get my wife back to the restaurant would be if they offered her a free entree. Just her entree. The staff checked with the owner and it was flatly refused. Their offer was to send me education on how the dish was made. No surprise and confirmed my concerns about the owner. We will not be back. Last night, my friends and I decided to go anyway, knowing the quality was always great... and I'm so glad we did! To my surprise and delight, Chef Vito let us know that all of their pastas are vegan and he could easily modify the sauces to suit my diet. The food was absolutely delicious--it tasted just like the meals I had in Italy. The quality, attention to detail, and service were even better than I remembered. I started with the fennel and orange salad, followed by a beautifully adapted pasta dish, and every bite was perfection. We left so happy that we chose to support a locally owned restaurant instead of a corporate chain. Maybe a compromise is to keep the TVs for game nights but turn them off during dinner service. I trust you'll make the best decisions for what customers want.

The sauce wasn't overly oily, had a nice, light basil flavour, and I really appreciated that they included Parmesan on the side so I could add as much as I wanted. My wife ordered the Spaghetti Primavera and really enjoyed it as well. She especially loved the goat cheese, which added a great flavour to the dish. The pasta here is definitely high quality. You can tell some care goes into it, and both of our mains were delicious. We also ordered the Arancini, which were just okay. We've had much better elsewhere, so they weren't really a highlight of the meal. The pasta, however, was excellent. We're definitely interested in coming back, hopefully on a nicer day so we can actually sit on the patio with the dogs, try more of the menu, and take in the views from the upper patio.
