The spaghetti was amazing!! I'm a mushroom guy so always going to love a spot with a good mushroom in their spaghetti. Ordered the spaghetti and fried mushrooms on the side. Definitely going to be one of my go to's!! Chef was a cool guy and made me feel super welcomed. Only thing I wish I would have changed would have been eating it there instead of to go!!!

Clean. Very attentive and friendly service. We had the lasagna and the Stromboli, both very good.

We ordered bruschetta as a starter. Tasted great just a bit too garlicky. My fiancé ordered the Philly which was a little underwhelming, but it too tasted delicious. I ordered chicken parmigiana, and bit into a piece of glass. Most of our ticket was comped, and the servers were more than accommodating and kind. Definitely a nice place to eat, but we won't be returning.

Just a pizza shop. Amici Signature Italian is under new management and is now called Joe's Pizza at Amici. We visited based on the reviews and was very disappointed the taste and the menu selection. The menu listed here was not available (it is different... just one page). The service and ambiance were alright at best. No wine or coffee available here because like I said "It's a Pizza shop"... and not much pizza options also. The garlic cheese bread we ordered and the bun that came with our meal was freshly baked and was excellent. The chicken wings was dry and tasted like the sauce was just added on top.

Enjoying a delicious, made-from-scratch meal in an intimate setting is near impossible during a pandemic. So my partner and I thought, at least. Like many, we are operating with caution and it's really important to us that our restaurant of choice balances exquisite food and an intimate ambiance with a strong focus on social distancing and hygiene policies. Amici delivered this experience and much more when my partner and I visited for dinner last weekend. Let's start with the food. This place is as far from chain Italian as you can get. The Bruschetta is rich in flavor but light and fresh, tasting like the tomatoes were picked an hour before out of a Tuscany garden. As for main courses, the Beef Medallion Peppered Streak was well marbled, fell apart in my mouth, and was served with a shallot green peppercorn brandy cream sauce that I a) cleaned off my plate and b) want the recipe for! All pasta dishes are made from scratch with authentic Italian sauces that showcase the bountiful flavors of locally-sourced produce. Their take on simpler dishes is also exquisite. Try their hand-tossed eggplant pizza if you're looking for something more casual without sacrificing the flavors and textures of a home made pie. When it comes to desserts, Italian restaurants often have huge portions of bland, stodgy cheesecake slices or overly-sugary canolis. Not so at Amici. Everything feels a little more custom; from their chocolate bread pudding to the vanilla anglais that pairs with their decadent tiramisu, it's all done with love and an attention to carefully balancing flavors. We find that the perfect way to top off the meal is with an espresso brewed on the gorgeous vintage Italian machine that they have. It makes darn good espressos and also gives the place an added air of authenticity. These guys do curbside and catering, folks. So if you aren't ready to dive back into date nights, you can't go wrong taking it home with you. We couldn't bring ourselves to do that though since they have a wonderfully eclectic wine list (bottle or glass) to pair with the meal, as well as a full bar should you wish to sample a signature cocktail or two like their lemon drop martini or signature margarita. Simply put, Amici has allowed us to get some fine dining back in our lives without ever feeling uncomfortable or unsafe, and we're so thankful for that. Speaking of safety, we were wondering how an Italian restaurant would handle the increased hygiene and procedural requirements resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. The ambiance of an Italian restaurant is paramount to a good experience, and the sleek yet cozy decor of Amici has always been a major draw to us, so we were unsure of what to expect. During a global pandemic, our concerns for safety and hygiene are understandably much higher than usual, so to see Chef Bartolini and his staff strictly adhere to social distancing and face covering policies was a huge relief. It didn't stop Chef making us feel special, however. We've known Chef Bartolini for a while but that isn't important; he personally greets all guests warmly whether friend or stranger, and checks in with them a few times throughout the meal to ensure everything is exceeding expectation. A class act. In summary, we were immensely impressed. Like all small businesses, Amici needs our support right now and since our visit, we're putting it right back on our date night schedule where it belongs. We might even start dropping in to get our caffeinated beverages too. Don't get me started on their imported espresso machine and dedication to local coffee suppliers Thanks so much, Chef and team!!

Amici's is a cute, intimate restaurant on Carrollton square. We had a late dinner so parking was very easy. I ordered a wine and we got a cheesy bread which had an interesting twist on it. We enjoyed it. Dinner didn't take to long to come out. It was good but nothing extra special. It seemed like there was a lot of regulars here and it's best to make a reservation. The service was very good. I would suggest this restaurant for a romantic night out.

Super cute little Italian restaurant in downtown Carrollton. The service was top of the line, all of our food was delicious. Would recommend the funghi appetizer, it was my favorite thing on the menu. Overall 4.5/5

I had the pleasure of lunching at Amichi a week ago. I was blown away. The quaint-feeling of the restaurant is blended with the beautiful decor. I love the juxtaposition of the historic restaurant/historic downtown with the upscale/high end experience. Lunch was awesome. Prices are a pleasant surprise for such an experience. It was such a great experience!

Cute little restaurant, nice atmosphere & great food. No liquor license, so don't forget to bring a nice bottle of wine like I did.

A great Italian meal before going to the Firehouse Theatre. I loved the Keto pizza which was nice with our own BYOB bottle of wine.

Our server, Stephen, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire experience. We started with the bruschetta board and it was delicious. My favorites were definitely the salmon & pesto and the goat cheese with sweet pepper jam--so flavorful and balanced perfectly. We both ordered the Select Two combo. I got a nine inch panini on focaccia bread paired with the soup of the moment: potato, leek, and artichoke soup, which was surprisingly so good and comforting. My friend ordered the same combo but paired hers with the Brussels sprout salad and had her panini on focaccia bread with tuna. She was also offered three wine tastings, which we thought was such a nice touch! To end everything, we tried the hot donut dots and they were amazing. They didn't taste oily at all, were light and fluffy, not overly sweet, and cooked perfectly. Definitely a spot we'd come back to again!

It came with caramel, vanilla bean (our favorite),and chocolate sauce on the side for dipping. Great service, great food :)

His ability to engage our large and diverse group while making it a fun and memorable experience for all was extremely impressive. Even people who normally roll their eyes at these sorts of activities were participating and having a great time. It didn't matter if you were an experienced chef, a novice, a senior leader, or a newbie on the team....everyone loved it! His location was a bit out-of-the-way for our company and took us about a half hour to drive to (which is not a distance we normally travel for dinners/activities). On the way there, some people were complaining about how far away it was, but THE MOMENT chef tre started talking with everyone there was zero additional mention of the drive (and it wasn't mentioned again a single time after the fact). Thank you chef Tre and team for an amazing night!
