I love Jamaican food for the complex flavors and depth of richness. This did not disappoint. The curry goat was rich and bold, a little heat and savory goodness. The rice and peas were a little dry and lacking a lot of flavor but they complimented the curry goat well. The vegetables were delicious! I am bias and love cabbage but they were crisp and tasty. I will be visiting this truck again to get my Irie Flavor on!

Tried BBQ Jerk Chicken and mac n' cheese. It's a quarter chicken, deliciously roasted and slathered with tangy bbq sauce. The meat falls off the bone it's so tender and the sauce is just the right tang to tickle the tastebuds without making your eyes water. The chicken is accompanied by rice and beans and steamed veggies. More rice than beans, the rice is sticky and good. Beans could have been a little more heavily seasoned IMO, but still were good. Medley of steamed cabbage, carrots, onions was ok but nothing special. That mac n' cheese tho! Thick and gooey, with a nice crust of cheese baked on top. This side is a meal in itself. Definitely give these guys a try when you seen them. Good stuff.

Baguettaboutit is based out of Chapel Hill so it's not a frequent visitor to Raleigh. I chased it down to Cary Crossroads and stopped in for a quick lunch. The truck looks brand spankin' new, bright royal blue and they have paper bags out front to mark up your order. I ordered up the Jersey Turnpike, sausage with red pepper sauce which took about 5+ minutes. Along with a bag o' chips and drink, we're talking about $8.50 which isn't bad. The Baguettaboutit sandwich is a pretty thing. Flour-dusted baguette with a thick sausage end peeping out (Flopsy!). And it's a tasty lunch, high-quality meat and crusty French bread. The red pepper sauce was creamy and decently flavored. By the time you work your way to the end of the sandwich, we're talking 3 - 4 inches of crusty bread and sauce left over, but still yum. Don't think there were any napkins available at the truck which would help a bit. For a first visit I was definitely impressed, I'll have to work my way through the rest of their baguette specials, six in total. Baguettaboutit puts out a solid sandwich that's perfectly portable and better than what you'd get from a Subway or Quizno, 3.5 stars. So I'm really looking forward to my next visit, if I can just only shake that image of my dog out of my head. One thing for sure, I'm not ordering ANY Baguettaboutit sandwiches with alfredo sauce, guaranteed...

We enjoyed everything on the platter with my favorites being the strong grilled essence of the perfectly tender chicken, crispy outside & fluffy inside of the falafel (I just wished there was more than one haha), and refreshing flavor of the tzatziki. Overall, it was a very healthy & tasty meal. Service was fast and the ambiance of the Can Opener is great, with lots of covered outdoor & indoor seating. The taco truck is actually located outside a bar club. I got 3 tacos and they were all delicious...so simple but so good! The tortilla had a nice texture to it. The tacos ran about $2.50-3.00 each. There's not really a menu on the taco truck so you may have to ask. The reason why is probably because they have regulars. I'll be back!
