Came two per order. Each one had a fair sized mushroom, some roasted red peppers and lettuce. The veggies were hot and were green beans, carrots and squash. The sandwich was so large that half came home in a box. The fries were really nicely done and were piping hot and crunchy on the ends. You know how unusual that is with sweet potato fries... as soon as they start to cool off they get soggy. Prices were a little high, but the server Jenny was excellent. Definitely worth a stop if you are in town. It is a sports bar and there were plenty of locals in there for lunch also.

Parking was great, right out front on the road in a great revitalized downtown area. Once inside, the waitress seated me and took my drink order. The menu choices all looked great. I asked for guidance from my waitress and she was very helpful! The special was the chicken fried steak and two sides and it looked good, but Big! Not wanting to eat that much she suggested the prime rib grilled cheese sandwich. Wow I had a salad, sandwich and sweet potato fries. I ate every bite and it was delicious! Well - I bet those are good - and I did (for the record) request a notification from him when his mom makes the next batch so that I can make a purchase! That being said / I'm still wanting a good tamale. I decided to go to George's because they offer fantastic desserts made just like the ones my mom, grandmothers and aunts all make. I thought they may also have tamales! Well what do you know - they do offer both! I ordered and promptly disposed of the tamale spread (as it's called on the menu)! It was delicious - several meaty tamales covered in a homemade chili sauce with cheese and a generous helping of chopped onion (optional for others - but not for me). The tamale spread was awesome! I had ordered a piece of chocolate cake for my appetizer (not unusual for me). I finished that piece of cake after I finished the tamale spread. I washed all this down with some splashes of Louisiana Hot Sauce on the tamale spread and a large glass of ice water that was generously refilled by the fantastic server, Heather!
