Five stars is barely enough for this restaurant. The food was exceptional! We had a shrimp cocktail, guacamole, pico, and seafood enchiladas. The portions were generous, the guacamole was freshly made, the enchiladas were so good, my wife wouldn't even share. The rice was easily some of the best we've had. I am not a small guy, and I feel I've eaten enough to be a pretty good judge of food and El Toro wins on all counts. Service was phenomenal, competitive prices, clean. Just great! BTW, we don't drink, but watching some of the drinks coming from the bar, had us rethinking that choice. They looked delicious!! read more

So we did a door dash. We did not get the correct order but it was correct on the invoice. When we called the restaurant they said it was door dash's fault. Omg they didn't make it and package it I called door dash and got no where. When I called the restaurant back they would not give me a straight answer. read more

I eat at El Toro several times month. Food is consistently good. Frozen Margaritas are the best I have found in town.

Street Tacos were wonderful and husband was impressed with the Chili Verde marveling at how tender the pork was. Being from AZ we generally find the Mexican food in this area to be pretty bland, so are always asking for the hottest salsa they have. We were certainly not disappointed by by what we got. Our very attentive waiter, Marco said it was his Grandma's recipe. Kudos to Grandma!! We will definitely be returning the next time we need to fix our Mexican craving. I am leaving this comment because not once, but 5 times has the same server left my family with an extremely uncomfortable experience at this restaurant due to a male server's inappropriate comments about women's bodies. Quite literally saying "titties and ass" and "Latina's bodies are better". I can understand bar talk, but this was disgusting and in front of many families dining. But it's not only this. He overstays his welcome at our table during every visit, but he also consistently focuses only on my mother, making her feel uncomfortable and awkward. His behavior is completely unacceptable and ruined what could have been an enjoyable dining experience. I would strongly advise against dining here if you're looking for a respectful and pleasant atmosphere. I do not know the name of this man, but I have a picture. read more

The food here is good but comparable to other local Mexican restaurants. The service is what I struggle with. Been here 3 different times where our order was wrong, took a long time before order was taken and check was wrong when brought out. I've been eating at El Toro since they opened frequently at lunch. Over time I have filled up 2-3 lunch cards. Today I was told by the lady upfront that the purchase had to be $10 to get the stamp. The attitude she gave me along with how the manager handled it when asked I will never go back. I don't care about the lunch card. They gave it to me every time I filled a card And it has never been a lunch value of $10. Customer service is not their concern. read more

We live in the neighborhood so our family frequents El Toro. We love the food! However, there is a certain waiter that we DREAD having to deal with. He consistently lingers and makes awkward jokes. This last visit he was making loud and inappropriate comments about "tits and ass" to other customers. We are a family with teens and he even makes them uncomfortable. The man can't read a room to save his life. I don't know his name but I'm sure the staff would know exactly who I'm referring to. read more

Great food and excellent service. Our waiter, Franky, was absolutely the best. Great smile and checked on us only when needed. I had the shrimp cocktail, plenty of shrimp and lots of big chunks of avocado and the sauce was great! But I like mine a little spicy, so I added a little heat! Not their fault, just my tastebuds. The wifey had fajitas. The amount way more than she could finish, so I know what she is having for a late night snack. Overall, great experience, we will be back. read more
