Ordered the Tacos El Paisa. While eating I bit down on something very hard. Took the piece out of my mouth thinking it could have been a bone. To my horror it was a piece of METAL! The manager apologized and offered to make me another one. But I would not want anything made in that kitchen. The body cannot digest metal obviously and could have seriously injured my digestive system. When the waitress came by to say she was taking the item off the menu she rolled her eyes when we said we did not think it was fair to pay for both meals since we didn't lot finish out of fear. Went on a Friday night but the place wasn't too busy.. got seated quickly and chips and salsa were brought to our table.. ordered our food.. the food never came out together, just one plate at a time.. one person ordered wings and had to wait at least 5 more minutes after everyone's plate had arrived..we are a family who eats together so everyone waited for the last person to get their meal.. kindly asked to talk to the manager and was told he wasn't there, on a Friday night. After our meal was finished, a waiter (Not the manager) asked how our meal was.. I explained what had happened and he apologized and then stated that we needed to come again and hopefully everything would be better.. finally finishing by asking us if we would like to order dessert.. when you make a mistake, own up to it.. don't ignore it and hope it will go away. read more

Me and the ole battle axe went there for lunch, I don't think amigos and beer is a fitting name since I tried to order a beer at 12:55 (apparently that's not ok) I was told I had to wait till 1 pm (ridiculous). for two people with an appetizer and 1 beer each it was almost $50. Everything was an "up charge" I've never been charged extra for cheese on tacos $3 I think but could've been $1.99. When asking for sour cream that was a $1.99 up charge aswell. We tried to order the sampler for the appetizer and it's a $1 upcharge for each chicken wing it comes with so that's another $3-$4 on top of the $12+ sampler. Food was mediocre... you can get better tacos from a food truck for a fraction of the price!! Service wasn't bad but it wasn't anything to write home about... I live close and was hoping it was worth going often because I would've been there weekly! But I WILL NEVER go back there waste of time and money, McDonald's will leave you more satisfied. I was very disappointed with the service and food. Chips and salsa were brought out right away. We ordered and waited about 20+ minutes for food. One order was brought out first, about 5 minutes later, the other 3 remaining orders were brought out , minus the tortillas that went along with the fajita plate. Two orders were wrong. A few minutes later, the wrong tortillas were brought out. We waited again for the correct ones. We waited entirely too long for this food. This is not authentic Mexican food, it lacked flavor and the price was too high for so-so food. I will not visit again. read more

At any other mexican restaurant where everything would be free such as sour cream or moore mozarella cheese because they little bit they give you isn't enough they charge you for. Way over priced for what you get I would not recommend them. We and another couple were the only people in the restaurant and the waitress didn't remember what I was drinking and the kitchen forget to make my french fries. The place is clean, bathroom toilet not flushing, just running. They brought chips and salsa right away to the table. The cup of salsa was tiny, not even enough for 1 person and very plain tasting. I ate here for lunch 5 days in a row while working in the area. The waitresses are all nice. The 1 waiter I had twice was not personable or friendly at all. I tried the Cheese Dip with Spinach. The cheese part was very good, but the spinach was large leaves thrown on top and not even cut into manageable bite-sized pieces and mixed in. I would advise just getting the plain Cheese Dip instead. The 1st day I asked the waitress what was best out of the tacos, enchiladas and tamales. She said the Tacos de Carnitas. She was right. The pork was moist, tasty and delicious. The 2nd day I tried a specialty called Arrachera. The description says: A cheese enchilada filled with grilled thinly sliced ribeye, bell peppers, rice, lettuce, tomatoes. That was so incorrect. It was a cheese enchilada with grilled thinly sliced ribeye and bell peppers just on the plate with a side of rice and a lettuce/tomato stack. The cheese enchilada was good, but I wouldn't have ordered the dish if I would've understood what it really was. The 3rd day I ordered a combination plate with 1 taco, 1 ground beef enchilada, and one tostada. It was all so-so. The pork tacos and the cheese enchilada were better. The 4th day I ordered Nacos Supreme. It was just so-so. I didn't like how everything was arranged. I've had much better nachos. The 5th day I ordered 3 tamales because I was told they were homemade by the restaurant. Bad idea. They were so dry, I could barely manage to eat 2, much less 3, and I don't think they were pork which I prefer, but chicken maybe, instead. I would never order that again. You can tell they care about their food and use quality ingredients. If I was ever back in the area, I would order a Cheese Dip, Cheese Enchilada and try the Carnitas: Pork, rice and beans. read more

The food here is ALWAYS good, the only reason for 4 stars is you could be waiting over an hour for your food after ordering, especially when their busy, I think they're working it out but it can be annoying if your hungry. I was looking for a place to eat with my family and friends after my graduation . A friend recommended us to come here to eat and honestly, biggest disappointment ever. First of all, the service wasn't the best. We kept getting ignored and it took forever to just make an order of our drinks. The women who took our order wasn't in the best of moods, Maybe she wasn't having the best day but honestly all the women there had a frown on their face. I didn't expect to feel so unwelcomed at place called, "Amigos and beer." Second, when the food came out, it wasn't that great and for the prices they have , it shouldn't taste so bland. They should try their food before they take it out. They also have the audacity to put prices on food that isn't even good. Last, to make things worse, my drink had a fly. A FLY. What!? If there was a fly in my drink, imagine what's in the back, or in your food. Psh, I highly recommend to not come here unless you like overly priced, low-quality food. read more

Poor service. It took us 45 minutes to get our drink! Server came back dropped off our drinks, forgetting 2 drinks from our table of 5. One of the drinks she remembered to bring had CHEWING GUM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE GLASS!!!! She took it back with a half-assed apology as if she was annoyed that we requested a clean glass!! Took our order, and 40 mins later (drinks empty) our food came out piecemeal. I ordered a quesadilla and I took a couple bites and was completely grossed out by the amount of grease and salt that was in the filling. When I was able to flag down a server, (not ours) she laughed at me and said that the dish was naturally salty and greasy because of the cheese and meat. I am spanish and am VERY familiar with how certain meats and cheeses are supposed to taste. I was not looking for a free meal. I was looking for them to fix it! Watch out for expensive add-ons and credit card fees. This was not my first time here, but I keep on trying hoping that each time was an "off day".
