VERY VERY GOOD. Some of the best Mexican food I've had in Florida. I did the combo plate and was blown away. Chips, Salsa and guacamole was insanely good.

Have been going here for years. This family owned restaurant has great food! The sisters are the waitresses and remember your orders and are quick. Combo platter is the best! All fresh-grandma cooking in the kitchen Bathrooms are basic and not so awesome and decor is old-but that keeps their prices cheap.-look at the picture I post of menu

I love Contreras. Family run and operated for over 40 years. They are amazing. Try the combination plate.

Great salsa and beef tacos. Wish they took credit cards but it's cash only. I would come back for sure.

Thankful it made its way to small town label. Location: located in the plaza right next to hungry howies. There is parking available directly in front. The deli has maybe 4-5 tables to sit and eat and a full counter space with high chairs. Food: They offer the typical popular cuban bakery style items. We ordered some Of the ham croquettas and tried their chorizo croquetta which was pretty tasty. We ordered a few of the pastries guava and cheese, cheese and coconut all were great not to flaky and well done. Finally we took home some sandwiches pan con bistec, cuban sandwich and media noche. All 3 sandwiches were well made and pretty big. Ham was fresh, cheese was nicely melted & bread was nicely toasted (pressed). Price: its in the scope of normal some things a little higher than others. Considering the time we are in I can understand the prices a little higher. Staff: Super friendly attentive and welcoming.

The shop is located on a quiet street right next to the Forrey Grill, a restaurant we like very much. There are tables outside the shop which is delightfully welcoming. As you walk in you might wonder if you were in Alice in Wonderland! Adorably furnished with comfy couches, tables and high tops. The menu is large along with all kinds of coffees and teas. There is also ice cream and home baked goods. We sat down and our server brought me a large tall cold unsweetened ice tea with lemon. David had a mocha frappe topped with whipped cream! He also ordered the spicy bean and sausage soup. I opted for a cup of broccoli cheese soup and a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread. The food was super delish. The chicken salad with lettuce and tomato was one of the best I've had in a long time. Mine also came with a fresh baked macadamia nut cookie! We enjoyed our lunch and took in the lovely surroundings. What a great place for a tea party, birthday party or baby shower! We will definitely return on our next trip going to the east coast!
