The restaurant was clean and well kept, and the staff was pleasant and friendly...its the burrito that is where it all fell apart...literally... The contents were fresh and tasty and overly plentiful, however this is where it lost all. The tortilla was freshly made in front of me, but was super thin...the staff used measured utensils as expected but this loaded the burrito to a point where they could not properly wrap it, and when i attempted (very unsuccessfully) to eat it, i could not pick it up as it would literally fall apart. I had to eat it with a fork and knife...not as it is intended. The tortilla, again freshly made was rubbery and doughy even though it was placed on the grill and browned, was disappointing.... The soda fountain was not properly mixing and i got more syrup than carbonated water causing the coke zero to be flat and non drinkable. I have had 3 Peppers in the past and dont remember being this disappointed...i may not be back... read more

I've been going here since they opened. The store was always pretty clean and appealing. The food is pretty good, but not especially good. Tonight I went in for a quick sandwich for my dinner. I normally take my sandwich to go and eat at hone. Tonight I decided to eat in the store. There was not a clean table in the store; I mean everything had food and spilled drinks on the table. I wiped down a table, cleaned a chair and ate my sandwich. There were two kids working and they weren't that busy. It seems that one of them could have cleaned the tables and swept the floor. You can put up with average food if the store is clean and pleasant. I won't be going to this store. read more

Three stars for ambiance and the (limited) variety of items (keep it simple). Two stars for how the transaction went down. 3 Pepper Burrito is in the old Starbucks location on College Parkway. Such a difference in what the inside of the store looks like! The day I went, the place was clean and quiet. There were two people working the counter and they were busy fulfilling mobile orders and getting the line stocked up for incoming guests. They were friendly to welcome everyone who walked in and acknowledged even those who were doing a pickup on the end of the counter. Planners beware: although the staff can explain things to you when / if you ask, they're not going to be forthright in telling you everything. Meaning, the protein is extra money added to the meal you are about to order. There is a reader board behind the workers that is set to give you step by step instructions. Read the board and ask (the right) questions because no one will tell you or steer you in the right direction until your money is out at the register. Even asking what the steps are, you're walked the line in the same order as they're putting items on your base. But there's not going to be further explanation. First time in (like me)? Ask carefully. Look carefully. You're not told about up charges unless you ask. Step one is to order your base (nacho, burrito, bowl, salad). This is price point number one as well. It starts at 9 dollars. There is a kid's version of items (less money) and an extra large burrito (hungry man) version (more money). Step two is order your protein - chicken, beef, steak. The proteins are an additional $1.50 with the exception of steak, which is an additional $3.50. This is where it gets confusing because they really don't explain that. This goes back to knowing carefully what you want and are getting. Once you order the base, they immediately ask what protein. If you're not paying attention, you're not going to know you're paying extra. You certainly don't have to order protein; your base stays at nine bucks if you don't want the poultry or meat. Double protein is an additional up charge however. Step three is toppings. Choice of rice (white or brown or none), choice of beans (black or pinto or none), choice of cheese (Mexican or pepper Jack. Double cheese is more money), 3 pepper pepper mix, lettuce, tomato, pico, etc. Queso cheese on top is extra cost as well as guacamole being an added monetary value. Had we not asked about the guacamole, we would have ended up paying over $2 more for it. There's basically a partial salad bar of options you can put on your dish. Note - queso comes automatically with the nachos so there is no up charge for it. Step four is sauce. Various styles of ranch, sour cream, hot sauce, an entire list is available. Step five is sauce for chips (chips are included with meal). Queso and guacamole are extra costs but the freebies include different types of salsas. Unfortunately, they didn't give me the sauce I asked for. The bag only contained the chips when I got home. Luckily I didn't pay extra for the queso or guacamole. Want extra sauce though? Pay more per item. So what was ordered? One burrito with chicken, black beans, brown rice and a small variety of toppings and Sweet Thai Chili sauce. They press the white flour tortilla on site and toast it right when you order it so it is not a pre made shell. It was filling enough but still left me wondering what I really ordered; it was something new to try anyway. The process is confusing so if I had know before hand, I'd had ordered differently. It was good (however not "zomg" good; just okay good) as well as being crazy messy since it was slightly drippy for some reason (maybe sauces?). Ingredients seemed fresh and you can see the steam on the line when they open the containers to serve the hot stuff. The other order was one nachos with steak. Because the nachos were chips already, that meal didn't come with the free side of chips. You'd need to pay extra if you wanted it (like the steak costing more). But toppings were no rice with a little bit of black beans and pinto beans. Small variety of other toppings were put on. The end result for the nachos was okay; not the best but not the worst. The steak was middle of the line; something that could have been escalated to a better taste, texture and flavor. Not worth the additional 3.50. Overall total was close to $30 after tax for two meals that in the end felt fast food worthy. This place can be so much more - especially since it's catering to what looks like quality ingredients. I've heard it's super busy during the work week but when I went on a weekend? Dead, and it was lunch time. Time might tell if I go back and when I do, I know how to order. read more

I eat here 1 to 2 times per week. Food is always fresh and tasty. Employees are friendly and helpful. Cleanest 3 Pepper around. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a fresh rolled burrito. Much better than the competition! read more

My daughter got a ticket for a free kids meal from school, so we stopped by to try the place out. This is Oct 23, 2025 at 6pm. The gal with the long ponytail didn't say hello. I asked what the meal included and she pointed to a sign. My daughter picked the taco meal. The gal asked what protein she wanted. My daughter asked what were the choices. She said, "It's up there on the menu, second row." Did not speak to us any more. Very unpleasant first impression. Another gal came out from the back. We finished up and left. The habanero sauce is no joke. I wanted extra spicy, and I was dripping in sweat. The burritos are HUGE and I most certainly wasn't able to finish it. Chips and salsa was sooooo tasty. Service here was on point as the young lady checked our large order multiple times. She impressed me and I felt absolutely confident with taking the meals to my coworkers. Not much of a review here. I've been curious about Three Pepper for quite a while. I went in on a Saturday afternoon to finally give them a try. There were only two other people in the place sitting at a table, otherwise it was empty. I went up to the (unattended) counter and waited a minute or two, looking over the menu. Then I started looking over all the veggies and stuff that they put in the burritos. I waited a few more minutes. After about five minutes of standing there waiting, I said to myself, "Well, I guess they don't really want my business" and I left. I never saw an employee. Maybe nobody was working that day. I want update a previous review. It appears that I may have encountered a new or inexperienced employee. I've enjoyed the College Pky location numerous times and they have been doing a great job. They prepare a bowl that is exactly as I request. The portion side is reasonable, the ingredients are good and the location is always clean with the trash cleaned regularly and the tables are always clean. I always leave the servers a modest cash tip of a dollar or two and they always acknowledge and thank me. Just a tip, when getting a beverage get an unsweetened ice tea, fill about 3/4 cup and add a little lemonade for a refreshing drink. read more
