My issue was I had a request to change FROM chipotle sour cream TO regular sour cream on an order of Carne Asada Fries. On the app there is a box that says "Preferences...add special instructions ". I didn't want to chance it so I went and ordered at the restaurant. The young girl behind the register was nice and pleasant and let me order directly to her. She seemed to understand what my request was. Unfortunately when I got home it was wrong, it had the chipotle sour cream on it. It's just very disappointing when I took special steps to get it right that it was wrong. I asked the young lady when she handed me my order if she thought I would have got the swapped ingredient had I requested it in the "Preferences Special request box on the app. She said yes. Fortunately it was not a food allergy issue it was just a taste preference. So now Taco Stand has dropped off my Taco Tuesday lineup options. The food is good just don't try to alter the ingredients. Same awesome people working there and the service was great. The food though is better then any words I can come up with and I'd just say go and pick anything on the menu that sounds good to you. I still get the surf and turf burrito, without fail. But everything else I've got for myself or for friends when I'd go to the truck, has exceeded everyone's expectations. Also just wanted to mention how cool it is to see a restaurant in the Vinewood Bakery. It's a really cool environment and it's quiet with it being just off neighborhood street. But there was no issues with parking at all and there was plenty of space without ever taking up spots that local families may use at their homes. Their Quessabirria (spelled that wrong probably ...) is so good and they have it in many different ways if you want. Including a birria burrito and birria ramen even!! I've driven an hour in traffic just to get to their truck, and I would've continued doing that if I had to. But this brick and mortar shop they're in now is just perfect. Small counter space by the restaurant. The restaurant has no seating. Space enough for maybe 2-4 people while you order your food at the counter. I noticed folks sitting in their cars waiting for their name to be called out. 2 Chicken, 2 steak tacos, 4 chicken tacos, California chicken burrito, chicken and asada quesadillas, side of chips and guacamole. $50.25. The guacamole doesn't look so good, the container wasn't fully closed (later found out after opening it at the office) and it turned brown on the drive back to the office. Was told at checkout that I would get salsa, but it is only the salsa verde, not my favorite. The chicken tacos look anemic. The tacos look so very sad and the cilantro looks old and brown as well. I ate a few pieces of chicken off, it rather bland. I was hoping for some red salsa, but only had the salsa verde. The guacamole was bland as well, added some of the salsa verde, still insufficient flavor for me. Rather lack luster street tacos at the stand. Doubt I will return to eat again.
