We got al pastor tacos, Cali burrito, horchata and chips with guacamole. The chips were thin and crispy, the burrito was packed and delicious. They did not skimp on the ingredients at all. Be sure to check your food after it arrives. After eating one of my tacos I tried to put sauce on the next and as the toppings moved I saw green fuzz on the shell! The third taco also had plenty of mold on it too. After calling the place they tried to insult my intellegence by claiming it's cabbage but there's no lettuce or cabbage on these shrimp tacos... it's also clearly a mold mute green and fuzzy I couldn't get a full refund for my order on door dash either. Let me preface with: I LOVE TACO STAND!!! It's merely this location that sucks ... continuously!!! :-l Their bowls aren't full like other locations (specifically Allen Park!). They seem to always forget either sauce, the sour cream, the chips or sometimes all of the above. I've redirected multiple people to the Allen Park location and all have noticed the difference in the portions, flavor, and service. They all now make the drive to Allen Park when they want Taco Stand. Aside from the order not being accurate regularly, the staff are very unprofessional. Couple nights ago half my order was missing and I called the location. The staff member that answered was very rude. Insisted she absolutely knew that she had packed it all before I could even tell her everything that was missing. Without notice, a guy is now on the phone asking me the same question (assuming the manager as she didn't say hold on and no one has announced themselves). She's in the back ground saying, " They had a big a.. order too". This comment was loud and rude enough that my boyfriend gave that look that says, "I'm about to get pissed in a minute. By the way, we had 3 tacos stand bowls, 4 chicken tacos, 4 steak tacos, a quesadilla, and a side of guacamole. That was the "big a.. order" she was referring to. My friends and I just tried this place for the first time last week, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! It was easy, quick, chill, and most importantly, yummy. I am a sucker for mexican food, so this was right up my ally. I ordered the Steak Tacos with a side of rice & beans. When I entered - The place was very clean with limited tables but of course they're still a pandemic going on so that's understandable. Placed order online and went there to pick up - when I arrived the food wasn't ready but I did that on purpose so it wouldn't be sitting. The food was okay but nothing that you would be impressed for with the price that you pay. Personally, this was a very average Mexican restaurant. Even down to the restaurant decor and parking lot. Parking is a little tight for 2 way traffic (trucks beware). However, it is big enough for the restaurants needs. I had stopped in for a quick lunch. The Al pastor taco stand burrito was just... Average. Meat was a little fattier than most other places. Overall burrito was a decent size. I had only half for lunch just as the more bland flavor did not make me hungry enough to eat the other half of the burrito. Overall it is okay given the cheaper price. Also, keep in mind that the restaurant does not hand out tap water. Only purchased bottled water, soda, etc. read more

Don't be fooled by this tiny taco shop, the flavor is out of this world! I had the chicken quesadilla, steak quesadilla, and the carne asada fries. The quesadillas here are not your typical quesadillas. The quesadillas here are smaller tortillas and the meat is not completely melted into the cheese as much because the meat is overloaded so quite a bit falls out. The cheese is gooey, melty, greasy, and everything that is good in this world. I swear the cheese just makes the quesadilla better, the next time I go back I might just get a cheese quesadilla. I usually get 2 quesadillas and I'm full! One is not nearly enough. Carne asada fries here are also amazing! I know it sounds weird to get fries at a Mexican place, yes, but I swear you need to try this. The small portion is enough, it's huge! Pro tip from a regular: If you call to order you can save a dollar on a taco, use the phone don't order off delivery apps(they take money from the business this way) onto review: Best tacos in the area in my opinion. The meat is never tough or old the sauces are good it's a great price, and They don't use a lot of Styrofoam. For the order in my picture below, it took ten minutes, very speedy. So at first I'd give it five stars and will still give the food like 3.5-4 stars but the service has gone so down hill at this location in the passed month or so that I will no longer be returning they have hired some new order takers/ cashiers that will confirm what you'd like over the phone and still write down the wrong order and forget but it's some how my fault that they didn't get it one of the three time so said it (even though they made it seem like they understood over the phone.) they have messed my order up the last three times I've gone to this one this time not only did it get messed up I got charged more than I should've have for what I ordered as well as had to wait longer for it.....The time before that the guy up front argued with me in front of other customers and was pretty disrespectful when I didn't let him up-charge me for no reason/ something I had never been up-charged for before.
