a nondescript building on the side of a busy street, but the taco stand seems to be pretty popular with dine-in locals and takeout orders. there's six tables and bar stool seating inside. order at the counter and your food is brought to you. prices are very reasonable. // asada quesadilla ($3.25) // small, a little larger than a taco. flour tortilla comes with cheese, meat, and picco on the side. a bit light on the cheese but there was a good portion of meat inside which i appreciated. // california burrito ($9.50) // average sized burrito. good portion of meat. comes with fries inside, (scarce portion of) chips on the side with green sauce (preferred to the red sauce) overall, tasted good for the price. good for a quick meal if you're in the area.

First timer - someone wanted tacos but I didn't want "fast food"; so here I am. When I entered - The place was very clean with limited tables but of course they're still a pandemic going on so that's understandable. Placed order online and went there to pick up - when I arrived the food wasn't ready but I did that on purpose so it wouldn't be sitting. The food was okay but nothing that you would be impressed for with the price that you pay. Maybe I need to try a few more options; would I come back sure but instead of getting a whole ones we will just split something and hope for the best. Happy Eating!!!

Personally, this was a very average Mexican restaurant. Even down to the restaurant decor and parking lot. Parking is a little tight for 2 way traffic (trucks beware). However, it is big enough for the restaurants needs. I had stopped in for a quick lunch. The Al pastor taco stand burrito was just... Average. Meat was a little fattier than most other places. Overall burrito was a decent size. I had only half for lunch just as the more bland flavor did not make me hungry enough to eat the other half of the burrito. Overall it is okay given the cheaper price. Also, keep in mind that the restaurant does not hand out tap water. Only purchased bottled water, soda, etc.

Don't be fooled by this tiny taco shop, the flavor is out of this world! I had the chicken quesadilla, steak quesadilla, and the carne asada fries. The quesadillas here are not your typical quesadillas. The quesadillas here are smaller tortillas and the meat is not completely melted into the cheese as much because the meat is overloaded so quite a bit falls out. The cheese is gooey, melty, greasy, and everything that is good in this world. I swear the cheese just makes the quesadilla better, the next time I go back I might just get a cheese quesadilla. I usually get 2 quesadillas and I'm full! One is not nearly enough. Carne asada fries here are also amazing! I know it sounds weird to get fries at a Mexican place, yes, but I swear you need to try this. The small portion is enough, it's huge! The steak and veggies compliment each other so well and I don't even like sour cream, but the chipotle sour cream is seriously amazing. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. It's the most amazing food!

you can't beat $2 tacos!! I ordered it to-go & my order was ready within 10 mins! The store itself is clean but doesn't seat too many people. Perfect place to grab a quick lunch!

WTF!! This is delicious!! The beans, whole and full of flavor. Rice moist and delicious. The tacos are awesome. I'm pissed I don't have enough room in my stomach to eat more. I was trying to go to the big Mexican restaurant down the street but they were too busy. Won't be long before this place is off the map too. These carne Asada fries, like for real! Over the top. My new spot. Has several options on simple menu. Again welcome to flavor town. I damn near we back there to see if somebody old great grandmother was cooking. Nice job!!

I loved LOVED the crispy taquito rolls appetizer. The Tex-Mex and Street Tacos with halal beef and halal beef chorizo with fresh cilantro, onion, tomato and with spicy salsa were quite delicious. I would recommend they offer more crunchy, crispy items as those taquitos and sauce toppings are what I'm really remembering with fondness and they were unique in the best way possible. With that in mind, the birria tacos will be what I try next. Yes! I will be back for more.

The food wasn't completely terrible, I guess it's what you expect to get in the Midwest which means it was simply mid. The "spicy" flavor was left to be found. The meat was alright. I got a burrito, my friend got birria tacos. Story of my disappointing service: I walk up to the counter & asked for an Horchata (ofc with a Spanish accent because that's how you properly pronounce it) and the lady at the counter looked at me in the most confused way possible. Immediately then I knew it was a bad place. I then proceeded to say it in an American accent only to be disappointed by the fact that they don't even have that. The most BASIC DRINK any "Mexican" place has is either Horchata and Jamaica and they have neither. I got "chile" with my burrito, but received borderline water. I am glad they're trying to make Mexican halal food, but the road to success is far away for this restaurant.

After learning we had never been here before, he answered our questions and gave recommendations of menu items based on our preferences. Because of this, we decided to eat here and through our whole ordering process he was transparent about spice levels and any other considerations. We ordered tacos - two steak for her and one chicken and one ground beef for me. Both with a side of rice and beans. The hot sauce is nicely spicy. The white sauce was fantastic, it is the type of sauce I would put on everything if I could. The taco shells with the cheese cooked onto them, in addition to the fillings and sauces, resulted in some extremely delicious tacos. The chicken taco easily is one of the best tacos I've had, it was that good. Everything was fresh, delicious, and filling. Special thanks to Abe for converting us from tourists to customers - we are eagerly anticipating our next visit!

We usually go for a good fajita (of any of the flavors, all are delicious) or a monster burrito to share (jam-packed with rice, meat and veggies so enough to share)! I told the guy I didn't need the rice or beans but he brought it anyway for some reason. My dad wanted his rice and beans, so maybe he was confused. I don't know if our server was new or not. My dad had to ask twice for his Pepsi and I had to ask a second time for the salsa. I requested to go with my tacos. The wait time wasn't long since it was during the week and early enough in the night so that was nice. I'm used to waiting a very long time here. It's always very busy and crowded here. I also asked for a to go queso sauce I told him I didn't need the chips. He totally forgot about that as well and then brought the bill. I was very annoyed that I had to ask a second time and then he wanted to charge $11 for that he insisted that he takes back the bill and adjust it and I said oh you're going to charge me for that even though you already brought the bill and I've had to ask twice okay at this point I was so annoyed but I gave him back the bill anyways so he could adjust for it. I didn't know just the dip was $11. I would have re thought a carry out. I told him I didn't need the chips because we have chips at home. I don't know if they changed their rice recipe but the rice was extremely dry and flavourless. I took a few bites and it was hard to choke down overall I really like this place but I'm really second-guessing even coming back because the taco food truck that's down the street from my house is much better than this at this point and the prices are crazy. I didn't know how much the prices have changed. My dad got a burrito rice and beans. I got three tacos and we got a carryout queso and the bill was almost $60.?!?! this definitely was not exceptional service by any means I am keeping three stars because out of the other experiences I have had here this is just one not so good one usually we have come here and it's been great. My parents have come here a few times in 2025. I used to come here with them in 2024 and before I know they have been open for over 10 years more like 15 years but I don't know what has changed recently.

Taco's were well made, with double corn tortillas, packed full of meat , no skimping here, and just cilantro and onions. Definately very authentic Mexican style taco's and not the Americanized versions you find throughout the area. My only qualm, which was minor, was that the meat was lacking the seasoning I like when in Mexico which gives the flavor pop that I personally like. I took care of this with some salt and pepper along with salsa to tune the taco to my personal taste. Relative to the Salsa, there was a walk up Salsa bar with multiple Salsa's to select from which I truly liked and reminded me of one of my favorite Taco Joints in Puerto Vallarta, Taco's Revolution. These salsa bars, are quite convenient and act as a "Fixing bar" that allows you to tailor the taco to your personal taste. I have not seen this before in this area and wished more businesses did it. They also need to add the cucumbers (dont knock it till you try it) and some onions as well to complete the fixing bar. (: Food comes with gratis nicely mildly seasoned chips which I really liked. The seasoning is more than just salt, quite tasty and unique to this business, Very nice! Relative to the facility and staff, the restaurant is a no frills operation and has a relatively small footprint with a limited number of tables which is probably something to keep in mind during peak dining hours.
