My appointment was accepted by your online system and it made me put my banking information to reserve my spot. You don't have permission to charge my card if your doors are locked. This review is overdue. I've been coming to this urgent care for many months now and I love the staff and Dr. Sona Sirounian. There's never any waiting and you don't need to make an appt. This morning I had to do a PCR for my son and I. I was in and out of there in 5 mins. They offer rapid tests and PCR before 11am. Along with the urgent care, they have a medical spa which is something different from other urgent cares. They offer IV Drip Therapy which helps boost your immune system to help fight virus, colds, hangover cure, increase energy and more. I highly suggest getting this while you're there! They weren't busy they just didn't want to see her and refused her without giving her any type of treatment or alternative help. This place is fake and doesn't like to be genuine medical practitioners. They care about how much commission they're going to make off insurance. Took my kid in for flu like symptoms. The receptionist was sleeping with her head down on the counter and I had to wake her up. Then she told me she did not accept my insurance. I told her that was interesting because I have brought some of my other kids in before and I have never had that come up as an issue before. I offered to give her the other children's information, and she simply responded by saying I have no reason to lie about the insurance. I don't even know where to begin with this review. I hope this helps guide anyone looking to make this place their primary care via their insurance. First off even though my primary care physician is Tigran Garabedyan he was never the person to see me it was always a nurse practitioner specifically Khoi Tran NP-C (certified nurse practitioner) if you're ok with that fine but if you're expecting a doctor - DONT. I came in for an EKG and a referral. After waiting 45 min in a room (with an appt) Khoi Tran came in followed by another woman - whom he didn't introduce but I am assuming a trainee because she just stood quietly in the corner - and stated aloud OK your referral is in and proceeded to leave the room. Mind you I was primarily there for an EKG. I left frustrated that day and told myself I would change my primary care doctor due to that visit. However, I returned without an appointment four days later because I was informed that I had high blood pressure from another clinic I went to and they advised that my primary care physician confirm. I was rudely informed by the front male receptionist that morning that they don't see same day patients. Yet after reviewing my insurance they would make a consideration. There was another person in the front. A woman who was empathetic and spoke to me with respect; I wish I had gotten her name. She proceeded to give me the EKG while the male receptionist kept poking his head in asking if she needed help very unprofessional (aren't you a receptionist?!). Fast forward to when my blood pressure was taken (181/126) and (183/103) Khoi Tran NP-C comes in and hands me a water bottle and pill to take and leaves the room. Never explains what it is or what its for. Comes back and states nonchalantly your blood pressure is a "bit" high and proceeds to leave, but before he does I ask for clarification as to why my blood pressure is high to which he responds annoyingly I'm going to come back and explain is that ok? to which I had no choice but to say ok because at this point I just want the medication referral so I can leave. He comes back and hands me the referral stating that high blood pressure is the result of a salty diet. There you have it. It was my diet that caused my blood pressure to be 180/123. Mind you I'm 170lbs 5' 7" and 33 yrs old. I hope my experience guides your decision in coming here for your health needs. read more

HORRIBLE service ! I came here on Saturday for a tb test as told to come in monday for test results I came and there was a written sign saying they were closed. I called today Tuesday to see if I can receive my results I was told it was too late and I would have to wait a week to retake a test and no refund. Sylmar Urgent Care is a clean, professional and safe urgent care. I initially came here for morpheus 8 treatment for my face, and felt more than comfortable being in the care of an urgent care with medical professionals. The front desk receptionist was very informative and helped me with all of my questions prior to seeing the doctor and the nurse. The doctor did an exam and physical and made sure that I was a good candidate for the medical cosmetic procedure. She explained to me everything I needed to know about my medical condition and how it could affect the recovery with my face treatment. This is definitely above and beyond any care I could get at a regular Medical Spa and I'm so grateful that the doctors have a vested interest in my long-term health. The nurse was beyond a gentle and graceful when drawing my blood. For the first time I could barely feel the prick of the needle; she almost just slipped it in there without me noticing so that was relieving :) Diana was the nurse that did my face treatment, and she is beyond talented and amazing. I am very picky when it comes to my face because any procedure I've had done has usually been by a board certified plastic surgeon but I feel like her skills are right up there. Horrible!!! terrible!!! experience here I walked into this place because of my Asthma and having inflammation in my lungs due to the allergies I have. The gentleman at the front was extremely helpful so nothing bad on him however he did tell me "due to the pandemic our doctors are not seeing anyone with lung or breathing issues" So I said okay what else can I do? He suggested a phone consultation with the Dr. so I said okay lets do that because I need to get medications. I was charged $150 for a "Phone Consultation" that lasted 9 minutes..... the person who called me wasn't even a Dr she was a Nurse Practitioner and she told me that "a phone call won't help you because I can't hear your lungs over the phone" I KNOW THAT DUHHHHH, I work in the medical industry and I know how listening to lungs works you don't have to make someone feel stupid for trusting the suggestion of the clinic. UGH I am so utterly pissed off I will never go back to this place EVER. read more

I rolled up to the location expecting a drive thru experience. I did not see any line for a car or spots designated drive up testing. I called them. Some to a wpnderful employee who imformed me of some info. They DO offer the fast testing BUT.... Their advertisements are 100% FALSE. There is no drive up testing. You have to get out of your vehicle, wait in line near other persons(who are doing a poor job of social distancing, then check-in at their desks INSIDE the building, wait for you name to be called near the door, only then will a nurse come to your car for the test...... Entering the dam building DEFEATS the whole purpose of a DRIVE THRU TEST! Allow someone to be outside offering this service legitimately. If not Take down your sign, stop your advetisements on social media! cross out the drive up part or I will file a real complaint with the CDC or BBB. read more

If you plan to have laser hair removal , I DO NOT recommend Deanna, she does not do a good job, she needs to finish quickly, it cannot be that in less than 10 minutes(full body), according to her, she had already done her work and I was not paid for 10 min touch-up Just pass the machine wherever it is and that's it, I recommend Polina more to do your laser she takes her time to do a better job even though on occasions her way of being was not friendly but she did better. read more

The Most Unprofessional place I have ever been! Horrible service! Day one I walked in, the front girl was so rude I literally wanted to walk out but I still waited to get my treatment bcuz I always like to give people a chance! the second time I had an appointment, they called me to go in an hour earlier, I left work to get there earlier and they made me wait exactly an hour and 45mins! I was so pissed n upset that not only they made me leave my work earlier but they took me almost 2 hours late! after my appointment that day I made another appointment! I kept trying so hard to give them a chance because they were so close to me n because they were Armenian owned, I really wanted to support them! I went in a couple times n the last time I had an appt I ended up calling and canceling my appt. cuz I had enough of them treating a customer that bad! Again, I called a few days before my appt n canceled my appt and after a few days I saw I was charged a NO Show fee! I called to let them know and they said they never got a call from me and they even called and confirmed my appt! I was so confused n surprised that how a company can be so unprofessional n Money hungry! They made me wait 2 hours, it was okay but when I called n canceled my appt ahead of time and they supposadly didnt get any call from me, they charged me after me going through so much with them! Not to mention the treatments I got was Nowhere near what I have been getting somewhere else! Never again going back there and I will not recommend anyone going there! Nowonder they werent busy! Probably the worst urgent care I've ever encountered. Incredibly unhelpful and absolutely careless. Brought our 4 year old daughter in for symptoms of dehydration, excessive vomiting, and chest congestion. No one ever laid eyes on her, let alone examined her. The front desk people heard her vomiting and said to go to the ER. They also kept referring to her as "he" even though she clearly is a girl and they were told her name. It came off like they were so disconnected and uninterested that they couldn't even get the correct pronoun. Appalling. Do not take your kids here!!! read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR ENERGY. Walked up at 4pm on a Saturday to a nurse standing outside talking to two younger nurses in their car buckling up ready to drive away. She stares at me so long it gets uncomfortable, so I say "Hello" and without even greeting me back she says "You need to come back in one hour." After I question this (because they are an URGENT care where people go when they need care URGENTLY, like...not in an hour or so) she tells me that the two nurses have gone to lunch and there is no one there to see me. Shocked and thrown off guard, I say okay and get in my car. Then I start to think about how absurd it is to get sent away from a place that is supposed to help me before I even had a chance to get to the door, so I call the office line thinking I might speak to someone who can help me. Nope. The same rude nurse answers and passive aggressively tells me that "I am free to go somewhere else if I don't want to wait and come back later" and when I question why no one else is there to see people at 4:00pm on a Saturday (not typically a lunch time) she tells me that it's "not my job to schedule people and I'm not in charge of this company's finances" (ok?) and that she didn't turn me away, she said to come back (sounds like the same thing to me but go off). She repeats herself again saying that I am free to go elsewhere - and I tell her I am planning on that - and then I ask for her name and SHE HANGS UP ON ME. I walk into the office for the first time to get her name and there is no one there, I yell "Hello?" and she does not come to the front. I took a picture of the office's names and numbers to send an email to the owners, but after looking at all of these 1-star reviews, it's clear they give as much of a shit about their clients as this nurse did about me. It honestly makes me ill thinking that these people are in charge of the care for others. I'd NEVER take my loved ones here. Seriously, if you are considering going here, filter the reviews from lowest rated and just spend even a single minute reading all of the one star reviews (spoiler alert: there are A LOT of them...more than one would want from a place that is literally supposed to take care of people). I wish I would have. If a medical business has either 1 star reviews or 5 star reviews, and nothing in between - take it for the GIANT red flag that it is and avoid this place and their terrible staff and procedures at all costs. read more
