Their response... an indifferent shrug and a dismissive "them the breaks" attitude. A complete fail and a borderline scam. Zero stars.

I got engaged and my fiancee picked out the diamond, wanted me to pick out the band. I went to Mark Pratico on a Monday to pick our the band. Was told the ring would be ready on Wednesday, after your work stop by. I did. He was still working on the ring. I said well?? He told me he was very busy, and to come back next Monday. I said NO! I want my ring now. The band is a plain gold band. It was not straight--was slightly bent. I looked at it and said what the hell!! He said he was busy again. This guy is the worst jeweler I have ever seen.He said OK, drop it off on Friday, after work and pick it up on Monday after work. Oh, and make sure to take it to get appraised for insurance before you drop it off. I just got engaged--you could not have pried this ring off my cold dead hands!!! I got 4 messages on my home answering machine to remind me to drop the ring off on Friday, after work. I DID NOT! On Monday, I drove thru the shopping center he was in at that time, Plainsboro. I was going to the grocery store there. I slammed on my brakes and looked at the Mark Pratico Jewelry store--IT WAS EMPTY. Nothing but an empty store. OUT OF BUSINESS! I would have lost my ring and all the money my fiancee paid for it. Nice guy!! I think it was a scam. I have had the ring appraised and was told the stone was an excellent quality. I strongly suspect, my opinion, the stone was going to get switched or I would have just lost the whole thing. Can't believe this guy is still in business...

Story time: Freshman year I went to the doctor for unexplained weight gain. Mind you this was back…read morein 1998 so way ahead of the body positivity movement. Anyway my PCP tried to reassure me that body changes were ok because "not everyone is going to be a Lands End model." Not Victoria's Secret - Lands End lololol I'm so dead. Bless her heart. Such a New Hampshire thing to say lmao. Turns out it was PCOS but it'd take me another 5 years to figure that out. Conversation for another day. Anyway I've come full circle. I've been getting targeted ads on social for cute plus size clothes - spring nauticals and the like. However the ills of capitalism and Ozempic have colluded to steadily decrease the availability of plus size clothing in stores for years. I was STOKED to see Lands End had a brick n mortar with plus sizes in store. The last time I'd seen them was in Sears before they went the way of the dodo. I mean if you're gonna have a regular degular cardigan for $89 I'm gonna need to try it on and feel the material before I part with my coins. We went to this location and while my husband tried on pants I stealthily made my way around the store looking for the plus sizes. I'm still not over the hour drive to Anthropologie in Short Hills a few years ago only to learn they had removed their plus sizes. I wanted to save myself from similar embarrassment and heartbreak here. At first I didn't see any - just a sign on the wall that said Sizes 16w-24w shop online for more selection. As I planned my strongly worded yet classy crash out to corporate, I noticed some plus sizes on the shelf. Mixed in with straight sizes. :GASP: I'm so used to being relegated to a dark corner in the back of the store it didn't occur to me that the clothes would be right in front of my face. Now don't get too hype because the selection was somewhat limited - though they did have the sweater and pants I had seen online. Truthfully though the women's collection in general was a bit limited because they had given over 1/2 the store to women's swimwear. I'm interested to see how the store changes as we get deeper into the season headed towards fall. Everything was 40% off and the sales associates were very friendly. Now that I have a better idea of sizing and material I can shop for other pieces I wanted online with more confidence. I hope they continue to stock plus sizes in store and expand their offerings. In the meantime I'll be swapping my disappointing letter to corporate for an encouraging one.

Really nice staff and all reasonable sizes available. It just a shame the store is stuck in the dead zone of a poorly designed mall. Four solid stars.
