I did not have a pcd chosen because my last dental experience was horrible and I basically have been neglecting my teeth since that visit two years ago. I'm so happy that I choose Brighter Dental. My visit on Monday was quick and to the point. I did not wait long to be seen after arriving. My xray technician was so professional and pleasant. I believe her name is Camille. She was patient and I could tell that she wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Lyons looked at my teeth and gave some recommendations. I was lucky enough to get an appointment for an extraction 2 days later. I was so nervous leading up to the procedure. I've had 3 prior extraction experiences. The two where I was awake were super painful and I was expecting it to be the same way. I was completely wrong. Dr. James Kang is the GOAT!!!. I felt nothing. He said my roots were very deep but again zero pain!! He has great bedside manners and I felt very at ease and comfortable during the entire procedure. This doctor gave me completely false news, which devistated me for the entirety of the day, up until I went to see an actual, sensible doctor. If I had followed through with the work of this office I could've been going through a life changing and possibly life ending procedure for absolutely no reason. After seeing numerous doctors and going to the emergency room multiple times I had Dr. Bocage review my ct scans. He was extremely compassionate and explained what he saw in words I could understand. You would think being a surgeon, surgery would be the first thing he suggested but it wasn't, which really made me feel like he actually cared about me. I had additional testing done that all came back inconclusive and surgery was finally scheduled. The day of surgery I was so nervous but he comforted me and held my hand until the anesthesia kicked in. Immediately after the surgery he went and spoke with my family and reassured them of my status. I had bronchiectasis in both lungs and scarring that was causing the pneumonias. At that time he and Dr. Caccavale removed the right middle lobe of my lung where most of the issues were coming from and I was discharged from the hospital the next day. Four years later I needed to have the portion of the left lung removed because I was again symptomatic. Again, Dr. Bocage truly made me feel comfortable and confident that I was doing the right thing. Throughout my entire sickness, Dr. Bocage , Dr. Caccavale and their office staff have been nothing but amazing to me and my family. At a very scary time in our lives, anytime we would call the office we spoke with polite, professional people that went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. I wish more doctors and their staff treated people the way Thoracic Group does.

They said we rent the tool and we just get second thursday of the month. If you want services you have to come only this day. I still try to compromise if they can do 6 pm so that I can come after work and they stated they dont have. I asked if they can schedule me to any other office if the tool is available any other day in other office. They said then you have to pay consultation fee of $150 again. Late morning came and went so I called them and that started the afternoon run around. Nobody could give me a time and when I asked to speak with the nursing director, I got her voicemail 3 different times. At around 3:30 a nurse finally called me to tell me that my procedure had to be rescheduled!!!!! I demanded to know when this decision was made and why I wasn't called sooner? No one seemed to have an answer That evening I was speaking to a friend who called to see how I made out and as I told her the story she asked me the name of the facility and when I told her she said they did the same exact thing to her dad!! They don't care about patients or how anxious they may be or whether you've been starving all day because it seems to me that this is a common practice for this surgery center. I CANCELLED my entire procedure and had my surgery done with another doctor at a much better surgery center. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I have never heard of someone being made to stay home the day of surgery and the surgery cancelled that day! Makes no sense to me.
