The soup, tofu, and bok choy are flavorful and nice but the flat rice noodles are a bit too hard. The sweet and sour "chicken" has a lovely texture and was alright, but the sauce is a bit too sweet and one note. The dumpling noodle soup was nice but the dumplings' fillings were a bit more on the mushy side.

I'm newly converted vegan. One of my favorite things about it are the food choices. Tried Amituofo on a whim . I was not disappointed. Started with the hot sour soup. Amazing. Then the " spare ribs" w potatoes. The consistency was perfect. The sauce delicious. Topped it off with the decadent chocolate cake. The prices reasonable and the service rapid. I took home a quart of the hot and sour soup so I wouldn't miss it the next day. Go without hesitation and enjoy!

Food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic! This spot is a must-visit for vegan food lovers flavorful, fresh, and beautifully plated. Here's what we ordered and how each dish rated: BBQ Roast Pork - 5/5: Rich, savory, and full of flavor. Scallion Pancake - 5/5: Crispy outside, soft inside, perfectly paired with the dipping sauce. Pan-Seared Vegetable Dumplings - 4/5: Tasty and well-cooked, though a bit more filling would have made them perfect. Traditional Fried Rice - 5/5: Light, fluffy, and packed with veggies, great balance and texture. Vegetarian Spring Rolls - 5/5: Crispy, fresh, and perfectly golden with a sweet chili sauce that complemented them well. General Tso's "Chicken" - 5/5: A vegan masterpiece, crunchy, tangy, and satisfying. One of the highlights of the meal. Grilled Fish Banh Mi - 4/5: Crisp baguette, flavorful fillings, and a side of golden fries. We also enjoyed a variety of drinks ; Arnold Palmer and Thai Iced Tea. a The space is cozy and welcoming, with quick service and a calm atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their plant based menu. Highly recommend!

Great food! Ordered takeout a couple of times here and food came fast and it was still warm! Ordered kimchi fries and it tasted really good. Fries were not soggy and the kimchi and sauce made it really tasty! The Singaporean noodles are not that spicy and fried rice had that hint of curry! Everything is vegan here so if you want to try Chinese food and are vegan then this is your spot! Portions are large too so you are getting your money's worth!

Incredible food. You won't regret it. I had the spicy tuna, miso soup, and chicken with garlic. It's fresh, light - not drenched with heavy sauce- and tastes high quality.

I really enjoyed my all vegan meal here at Amituofo. They do a really great job incorporating meat alternatives in their dishes while keeping the flavors you expect. I started with the wonton soup which had a delicious broth and a decent serving of veggie filled wontons. For my main course I got the general tso's "chicken" and a platter of bok choy. It took everything in me to not devour that whole plate in one sitting. The flavors brought me right back to my childhood when I would frequent my local Chinese store at least once a week. The portions are definitely shareable but in my case, it was all for me. The space itself is dimly-lit and cozy. Maybe enough seating for 20-30 with additional out front on the patio. They are located kinda in the middle of nowhere but that makes for easy parking especially on the weekends. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!

Great place Ample seating indoors and outside on a nice deck out front. Spacious high ceiling and cool lighting. The food is excellent - all the dishes we had were tasty and service was quick. Will definitely return. The host recommended: Fried cream cheese wontons in mango sauce Barbecue roast pork (seitan) Spicy avocado roll I then had the Thai noodle soup which was delicious and spicy with a ton of fresh cilantro and bean sprouts. Then we tried the house fried rice - smoky and wok prepared and yummy. Definitely returning

If you're looking for good vegan food, look no further!!! This place blew it out of the park. I am not vegan but I absolutely loved this food and am already looking forward to my next visit. From start to finish, everything was super tasty. I am excited to try dessert next time! The miso soup was rich in flavor and delicious. The sesame roll was really interesting - it was served warm with a sweet dipping sauce. The spicy tuna avocado was my favorite out of everything -- it really tasted like sushi and was super fresh! Our entrees were generous, delicious, and really tasted like chicken! The cashew chicken was tender and tasty with great vegetables in a yummy sauce. The sweet and sour had an amazing flavor palette and I really couldn't believe it wasn't actual fried chicken! Both chicken orders came with brown rice on the side. The only thing that could've made the experience better was if our server was a bit more attentive. She was the only server in the restaurant and she did a great job being in several places at one time, but the wait was a little long at times. Overall, great vegan spot for a casual date/catching up with friends. They have a super cute outdoor area as well! Looking forward to my next visit.

This place is so cute!! I really wish I could give it a 4.5 or 4.75, cause it certainly deserves that extra little star. The inside is super cute and makes you feel like home with all the plants and warm lighting. And they also have a little area outside with little tables and lots of plants that's covered so if it's cold outside or raining you're fully protected. They have a pretty extensive menu and there were so many things that we wanted to try but were limited by our stomachs. We had the bbq pork and the Beijing duck. They were both quite tasty. I think the behind duck didn't have quite the same amount of flavor or perfect texture that the bbq pork had but it was still pretty good. The bbq pork was delicious. The wha they were able to get the vegan pork to be super juicy with great texture was really impressive. The bbq sauce was a great mix of sweet and flavorful but not too much. Would love to come back here and try more things on this menu!

Amituofo is a really interesting plant-based Asian fusion cafe. The barbecue "roast pork," our waitress's recommendation, was tasty. Sweet, savory, chewy seitan bites topped with scallions. The cedar tofu had an interesting flavor and a pleasant crisp texture. The eggplant with garlic sauce was good but a little blander than expected. The Singapore mai fun was not the greatest dish: the noodles were sort of dry and rubbery, although the vegetables and soy protein morsels were tasty. Next time I'd like to try one of their veggie bowls for a healthier option.

Delicious and flavorful food, quick and friendly service, and great ambiance. The menu was extremely varied in their options and I had a really hard time deciding! The cashew "chicken" was delicious and so was the eggplant in garlic sauce. Bonus points for the delicious chocolate cake! (No pictures of any of these) I've also ordered the Bean Curd with Cashew Nuts and BBQ "Roast Pork" Noodle Soup (photos included). The tofu dish was good and the "roast pork" was excellent. We also ordered seared vegetable dumplings which were great.

I go to Amituofo on a regular basis, whether it's alone for a quick bite or with friends and family, and I always have a great experience. The ambiance is absolutely amazing! You get to enjoy your meal immersed in plants and quiet music, which was just what I needed. The food was great, especially their kimchi fries which is very well seasoned and super freshly made. Service is usually quick as well, despite there usually being only one or two people working in the front. The young lady is very enthusiastic and is very well versed with the menu. Overall, a great place for a hangout with friends and family.

We happened to get there during brunch for our first visit, which was great because it was a mix of both lunch and breakfast options. We split one main dish from each part of the menu. The Tofu Benedict was the best Benedict I've ever eaten IN MY LIFE, and also top three best breakfasts I've ever had. The smoked tomato is what makes that dish extra special. The rosemary home fries on the side were also incredible and I'm really picky when it comes to potatoes. We also split the Chickpea Parm sandwich but I was so full that I ended up taking a majority of my half sandwich home. Which was perfect because it was even better cold! The Italian flavors mixed with the savory chickpea patty and the bitter greens was just perfect. The only thing that wasn't great (not docking any stars for this) was dessert. We ordered the Strawberry "Tiramisu." I'm putting Tiramisu in quotes because I detected no espresso and no cinnamon. It was super bland. I let my husband eat most of it. Would not order that again. I am looking forward to returning! The wait staff were really friendly, the ambiance was super pretty, and food came out super fast and hot. Perfection.

Warm atmosphere, a strong selection of vegan food and drinks, and the kind of place that made the evening feel special without trying too hard. It's since closed, and from what I understand it wasn't about the food or the love from regulars, it was the brutal economics of running a sit-down restaurant in a delivery-and-takeout world. Nine years of serving genuinely great vegan comfort food in Williamsburg, done in by margins rather than quality. That's a rough way for a good restaurant to go. If you ever got to eat here, you know what was lost. If you didn't, I'm sorry you missed it.

HAAM had been on my must-visit list for over two years, so I was excited to finally check it out. The real highlight of my visit was Ajaya. She was both my hostess and server, and her hospitality was outstanding from start to finish. She recommended the empanada appetizer, which was absolutely delicious, and a refreshing drink made with sorrel, tamarind, and lime juice that was easily one of the best things I had all day. If management sees this, please recognize Ajaya. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely made the experience enjoyable. For my entrée, I ordered the steak and rice. The vegan steak itself was impressive--the chuck-style texture was spot on and really satisfying. Unfortunately, the rest of the plate didn't quite match it. The steak was only warm, the rice and beans were barely warm, and the chimichurri lacked the bright, flavorful punch I was expecting. On the bright side, the sweet plantains arrived piping hot, perfectly caramelized, and were easily the standout on the plate. After waiting more than two years to visit, the food didn't quite live up to the anticipation. That said, Ajaya's service absolutely did. She was the star of the show, and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.
