A unique idea created by a very friendly and helpful innovator. We stopped by on a rainy Sunday to see the Bot in action. Orders are placed through the kiosks on the right and customers can choose whether they want the coffee prepared by a barista or Adam. We obviously opted to see the Bot build our coffee order and had fun watching it in action. The team has had some learnings along the way, like how the cups must be pre-spaced so that Adam can pull them out, but the staff is friendly and actively learning how to improve the experience. I really enjoyed my visit to BotBar and look forward to seeing the upgrades the owner is planning over time!

A new concept which is pretty unique as they opened this place last summer( summer 2022 I guess), with a robot serving you a cup of coffee. The cafe has a really cool vibe and the staff is probably the most friendly one I have come across in NYC! They are really helpful and cheerful while providing the service and hats off to them! I decided to go for a latte, the price though is a bit on the higher side probably given Adam the robot is at work. The robot basically picks up the cup and lets coffee pour in it and places the cup down while letting it go after you touch it. Technically, they have done a good job but product wise they should definitely improve on their latte. It wasn't a good one whereas I was expecting them to at least provide a good quality coffee while it wasn't served hot either , it sadly turned out to be a below average one. I also took macarons, they were good! I went for chocolate and pistachio macarons and both were pretty soft and melted in the mouth. Overall a good place to get kids and provide them with some much needed fun and attraction, the Robot though is great but they need a really good internet connection to keep it running during the business hours else it won't work since the robot is the star of the show! As for the latte, I expect them to do better!

Amazing! Great service from the robot barista and the employees! Totally recommend the spinach and mushroom soup, hit the spot on a cold day.

CEO burger 70g protein

The ube latte refresher was so good i havent tasted authentic ube like that in a while! I love that they list the protein count next to the food, which is great for people that are vegan but counting their protein! I had the 70g CEO burger and it was a generous serving for their lunch special price of $10. They also recently remodeled for a modern look inside the restaurant. All in all a great addition to the neighborhood

Food did not feel fresh at all. It was all very oily and even had a long hair in the food.

The three times I've tried to go, they've been closed when listed open on yelp and google. Not playing this guessing game anymore.

There's the main seating area and then two offshoot lounges, which aren't quite as cozy but offer different levels of quiet and ambience. I love all the random décor, antique signs, old arcade games as tables, a million lamps. It's like what nook is going for but you can actually sit down on a comfy couch most of the time. The guy working the counter has a lot of energy and clearly loves being there. The PB banana smoothie was yummy, very thick so could use a spoon. Mushroom toast was a bit pricey but you did get a lot of food for your money, the focaccia was crunchier than expected but all around a nice cafe bite. I just appreciate how this is such a gathering spot where you can watch bk life play out while working, it had a different energy from a lot of places in the area.

You've really went downhill. Everything is dreadfully smaller for the same price. You used to have a giant fluffy egg square on your breakfast sandwich and now I've gotten one lumpy small egg drenched in so much overly spicy sauce - that used to be more soft and palatable, I can't even taste anything else, to compensate for the lack of sandwich for over $12. Insane. The fries were the highlight of my meal and that's really saying a lot. $6.50 for one of the smallest iced coffees I've ever received... I think you're staying open on highway robbery alone. Or that the gentrifiers just don't give a damn. Honestly, I could've gotten something better at the Bodega for less than $35 after the Uber fees. I feel bad leaving this honestly, but... how you go from such a wonderfully established place to some dreadful experience is just sad. Do better, become yourself again, because unfortunately I won't be ordering anymore.

Shucks I wanted to give this place five stars but it didn't start so well. The first barista who…read moretook my order was really great. I first ordered a chai latte and he said I could do two different syrups so I got the pumpkin and salted maple, though I was worried about it being too sugary so he suggested I could just do half a pump of each. He asked me what the name of the order would be and I said "Aida" (the phonetic spelling is ah-EE-dah). And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked. Just seem like the ones who didn't really give attention to customers or were kind of rude seemed like they didn't wanna be there.
