I worked with Garrett, Frank, Marie, and their intern, Julian. They were all excellent and attentive and worked with me to resolve my issue. My one is complaint is when they leave you hanging between exercises, but I understand as they are seeing several people at once. The front desk staff is very nice as well. I had to end my sessions because my insurance didn't approve any more visits, but I am satisfied with progress I made. I will come back if I ever have another need for P.T.!

I went there to get rehab for a…read morebroken left patella & apprised them on my initial interview that I was concurrently dealing with a groin injury. Despite this their PT gave me exercises that proved to exacerbate this groin injury. When I went back for a second 'treatment' and told them I continued to have problems w/doing some of the exercises due to increasing groin pain, not only did the PT assistant inform me she was increasing my exercise sets by 10 repetitions, but she literally strapped a 1# weight to the ankle of my injured leg which was also the leg with the groin pain. The weight she added to my ankle resulted in my having considerable excruciating groin pain, that seared into my back. The insult to all of this was when I informed the PT about my groin pain, this person jocularly informed me that they could substitute other exercises that would not affect my groin. WHY THIS WASN'T DONE FROM THE BEGINNING WHEN I GAVE HIM THIS INFO AT MY INTAKE INTERVIEW IS A MYSTERY TO ME. I strongly do NOT recommend this place.

They were rude, condescending and unfriendly. The last straw for me was when I had to cancel an appointment because my sons school had an emergency early dismissal and I was told I'd be charged a late fee. I had had cancerous lymph nodes removed from my left groin area and as a result of losing the lymph nodes, had developed Lymphedema. Glen is a certified specialist in Lymphatic massage, which was the treatment I needed to help alleviate the sweeping and the pain. HE WAS AMAZING!! Extremely knowledgeable (he has a million degrees including Doctor of Physical Therapy) and is studying for more. His deep understanding of my condition, how the body works and how to administer the best therapy (and give me my at home work to do as well) literally made the difference between my having this condition - painful Lymphedema - for life, or gradually subsiding. My therapy concluded once it was at the stage it would remain at (with continued at home care) which was 90% better than when I first walked into the Rehab center. Everyone at the center was welcoming and professional. Greeted you by name the minute you walked in the door. Much more personal than some of the other rehab centers I have gone to. All have been good, but these folks had more of a personal interest in my as a patient than I have experiences before. And when you are hurting - that extra care goes a long way. I am so glad Ivy moved into the Valley! I hope I don't need PT for anything for a while now, but should I need it, it would definitely be back to Ivy and Glen.

He combines various methods to give my injury/body what will help the most and helps me understand the what and why. I came to Richard after a very painful backpacking trip where I injured both ankles (Oh, how the swelling made my ankles disappear!) and had low back pain that was making it hard to walk comfortably. I knew I needed help healing, but I didn't understand what a very skilled and 'big picture/whole picture thinking' physical therapist could do. After just a month, I've been blown away at the results and process - he actually gave me hope that the pain I'd been dealing with would eventually be gone and I'd be even healthier and stronger than before! While I was convinced quickly to work with him I did want to understand my options before choosing a therapist so at the end of my first session, he told me listen, if you do decide to go somewhere else for PT and all they do is tell you to stretch your calves to heal the ankle, you should leave/don't go back to them. It is like he predicted the future, I went to [insert PT company name here] and all they told me was to stretch each calf for 2 minutes a day and come back in a week...I was already sold but just had to laugh at how clearly Richard's years of experience came through.

I'm extremely impressed with the professionalism of the Vernon location staff. From Aggie, Kristen, and Maureen at the front desk, assistants Tim, Tyler, and Justine, and the physical therapists. I have only directly worked with Rory, with some time with Denise, but you can see how all the PTs treat their patients. All patients are treated with respect in a very friendly, open atmosphere. Personally, I'm thrilled with the effectiveness of my therapy and the responsiveness of my therapist, Rory. I'm supported, encouraged, listened to, and most importantly, I'm healing! The facilities are modern, clean, and well maintained. There is ample parking in a safe location. Having Rein's Deli and a Chinese restaurant right there, as well as a used book store, a consignment shop and a several other shops in the plaza is a plus if you're well enough.
