I don't often get my nails done but being that I'm going out of the country for the first time (GREECE BABY) I decided to be bougie! I got a mani-pedi. I had a picture of what I wanted and just asked if they could do it. They assured me they could and after a brief wait I was asked to sit at a table. They worked hard to make sure to get my nails as close to the picture as possible in color and shape. The woman doing my fingers was incredibly friendly. We gabbed like old friends. So much so I didn't even get her name! But by the end of our conversation my nails were done and I was so happy. I was then taken to a waiting chair for my pedicure. She had let the next woman know to prepare for me. That's service! The next woman wasn't as chatty but I think she wasn't as proficient in English. That was fine. I could tell she was friendly. And she was very concerned about whether I liked my nails or not. I got my hands and feet the same color (a soft natural pinkish color) and they matched just about perfectly! I got gel so that they'd last a bit longer at the recommendation of the manicurist. Together it came out to $100 even after tip. Not bad I'm assuming. I almost forgot to mention how fast they were! I have mixed feelings about this place. On one hand I want to give it 5 stars because I had the best dip manicure here. At other places, they end up looking very thick and chunky. The person who did my nails here did a phenomenoal job and they looked sleek and wonderful. I saw June. Fast foward to when I went back to have my dip nails removed. This is likely standard practice at other salons but I struggle when nail salons charge you to remove nails done at their location, but fine I understand. My real issue is that my nails were filed down VERY thinly when they removed them. Yes, I know they weaken a little but it has been a month since I had my dip removed and my nails still keep breaking. I essentially have to wait for the full lenght of my nails to grow out before I can get them done again. read more

I went to this salon on a Saturday, my first time ever being there. Being a new resident in Austin I have to find new places to get pampered. I request Sunny because on the reviews they said nice things about him and how skillful he was. In my opinion he is very rude and cocky acting. I would not recommend this man to anyone that's a new client. Seem like he bond relationship with his regulars. He treat new ones as if our money is not the same. I was not sure of what I wanted and he made me feel as if I was wrong for that. How many women come in a place not knowing what they want until they get there? I will never let him do my nails again. The lady that did my feet was very kind. Next time I will let a female do my nails. I'm only giving a 3 star because the females had way more respect then that man. read more

My mom had done her nails before with Anna she didn't like how thick she left her nails so she went back a week after to get them done again and she ask that lady politely if she could do her nails thinner and her response was that they were ok like that, when she started taking of her nails she made her bleed super bad from one finger she was doing everything with a horrible attitude, it was so bad how she was doing her job and how bad she was treating my mom that my mom ended up leaving the salon not even 10min after she got there. DONT COME HERE!!! I literally showed her the picture I wanted 3 times before she even touched my hands. So she asked me what length I wanted and she showed me like half of the nail and I asked her if she can do it a little longer pls and she literally ignored me and cut it really short, that the first problem. Second problem was the shape I literally showed her again and she literally gave me coffin . 3rd problem the glossy part so she gave me a couple of examples of colors and I told her these aren't what I want do you have any more or are these your only ones she said only wants so I showed her the photo AGAIN. So she picked a color and I told her this isn't what I wanted the shape is wrong , the color is wrong , so she said the glossy part she was gonna do it at the end I literally waited and she put the glossy part and it literally didn't make a difference. 78$ for this crap. Didn't do the shape i wanted, the length & literally everything. I literally don't recommend this place at all 78$ for this bullshit. (Edit - Expanded on details from original review) 4/3/2022 12:00 pm Walk-in requested Mani/Pedi treatment. Waited 20-30 min for services to begin. Nail Tech began treatment at 12:30 pm. I began to notice possible sanitation infractions around me i.e. surfaces, floors, and practices by nail techs. When I made it to the mani station, it was absolutely filthy. I really wanted to give the benefit of the doubt for this shop as they were so highly rated and I saw how busy they were. I did have lasting concerns by the end of my treatment. I also remember the drying station felt grimy and looked unclean. I ultimately was very unsatisfied with the results of my services and experience and thought it would be a good idea to inform the manager about the sanitation concerns I had. I spoke with her outside with respect to the customers that were still waiting inside. The salon manager (Lynn) became defensive, accusatory, and aggressive. I told her I was not happy with my customer service, professionalism, or service. She offered to fix my nails but I did not want to go back into the shop and I was there for nearly 3 hours for routine services. I live alone and needed to take care of my young pup. I explained this to her and thanked her for offering a discount of $10 and for offering to fix my nails but I was still not happy and it was unreasonable to ask for $73. She offered $53 at one point and I agreed. She then said no, it is $73. She didn't even know how much to charge me and the shop was very disorganized. She then threatened to call the police. This was not a normal response as I was happy to pay an agreed-upon price and realized at that moment I was speaking with someone who was not well in her mind. I thought police intervention would be a good idea. I was standing there when she called dispatch and lied to the dispatcher saying she "needed help" and "please send help" as though there were an emergency happening. She was asked to give a description and that's when she went silent. I interjected loudly into the phone with my name, height, weight, and description. I said there was no threat and I am not a danger. I immediately called 911 back and spoke with the same operator and told her what was happening. She told me I could go home to take care of my dog, I gave all of my contact information and was more than happy to return to the nail salon or meet with an officer to conclude this situation. I walked to my car, and that's when the nail salon manager (Lynn) and her receptionist (Leyna) followed me into the parking lot and started video recording me. I explained to them I was allowed to go and they can call dispatch back for an update. That's when my phone was ripped out of my hands and they refused to give me back my property. I feared if I tried to grab my property back, I would be accused of assault. I sat in the parking lot like a hostage, being filmed, and pleaded with these women to just allow me to go home for an hour to take care of my dog and that I would be happy to return. Their video recordings will show this. I even offered to leave behind my Drivers License and any other collateral. They refused and were irrational and did not listen to anything I had to say. The police finally arrived and I explained to them what was happening. Because the nail salon owner called them, I was forced to pay $73 or have a criminal record of "Theft of Service". I felt I was backed into a corner and forced to, pay this fee for terrible services performed in an environment that I believe was unclean, or I would be considered a criminal. I paid the fee unwillingly. I had no intention of ever returning to this location again, and despite this, the Nail Manager (Lynn) still requested a no-trespass issue for 1 year. There are CCTV cameras inside their shop that will corroborate my story and experience. I also took videos of what my nails looked like at the end of treatment as well as a video of my phone being ripped out of my hands by Lynn. read more

New to the neighborhood and saw all the great reviews. Today was my first time going and had a fantastic experience. I walked in without an appointment and was seen almost immediately. I worked with Bu who was amazing and so patient with me. The color I initially picked out turned out way darker on my nails. Bu removed it immediately and looked around to find a closer match for the color I wanted. She continued to check to make sure I liked it.
