Amore DJ Entertainment was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I could not have been happier with Amore Entertainment (and photo booth) for our reception. When our caterers dropped the ball (they were 2 hours late, and the food was unacceptable) Matt and Tami were already set up, and kept the guests engaged and entertained. They were more than prepared for anything that could have come their way, and did an absolutely fantastic job. Because our caterers were 2 hours behind schedule, we asked Matt and Tami if they could extend their hours - so that the reception could continue as normal. They were both more than willing to stay. They changed their schedule for us and our guests, when they weren't required to do so. It made our wedding reception perfect! The photo booth was absolutely wonderful - Tami did an outstanding job, and it was a huge hit with our guests! She gave us a wonderful book that has all of the photos organized, and we also received a flash drive that contained all of the photos. It's a perfect memory for my wife and I - and really illustrates just how much fun the guests had at our wedding, thanks to the entertainment provided by Amore. One reason that Matt and Amore DJ Entertainment stands out to us is the wedding reception book that we filled out in advance of the wedding. The book was thorough, with excellent suggestions for how to timeline the reception, and contained every imaginable detail - and ones that my wife and I had not even thought of! It also included song collections - and let us customize the reception in ANY WAY that we wanted! Matt took time out of his schedule to call us prior to the wedding, and asked if we needed anything at all. He also reviewed the book with us, to make sure that everything we filled out was exactly what we wanted. I found Matt to be very professional to work with. He took a great deal of stress off my wife and I in planning our wedding. At our initial visit he was the first sigh of relief that either of us received during this journey of wedding planning. He was like a wedding coordinator without the huge price tag and dual people. He reminded me he had everyone under control aside from lining up the bride, groom and wedding party. Outside of that he worked with the caterer to accomplish a very smooth transition between ceremony, reception, pictures, entertainment and the meal. His book of wedding ideas, music, and planning helped us more than any other wedding book I purchased. This wedding book, while it took us a while to get through it, brought up things we had never even through of. Like who is blessing the meal, over 1000 songs we had a approve, and how do you want people announced or released for dinner. It made for a great wedding. He was a great DJ also, however my wife and I may disagree a little on what the proper actions may have been. I didn't know until after the wedding but a few of our wedding guests requested some songs that were not appropriate for the style of our wedding. He did not play the songs at the time, which I thought was very critical to please all of our guests rather than just a few. Also we had a family emergency just before the wedding involving my Dad and as a result my father was unable to attend. I made an announcement at the wedding just reporting that he was there in spirit and heart. Approximately a week later after the wedding Matt called me to ask how my Dad was doing. I really believe that was way beyond anything we could have asked for when we hired him. He showed real concern for not only his customers, but for their family as well. In all the comments in regards to our wedding some of the most impactful members of our team were the caterer and the entertainment. I have been in numerous weddings and none have had a DJ/Master of Ceremonies like that of mine. I had no clue where to start when it came to choosing a DJ for my wedding, so like most people I Googled it. One of the first results to come up was Amore DJ Entertainment. It also had the highest review ratings. So I gave them a call to see what they were all about. I soon found out that they were much more than just a DJ company. Matt walks you through the entire wedding planning process and provides materials for planning the wedding of your dreams. The MC at my wedding was a guy named Hugh, and he was the man! He basically made the wedding fun and exciting for everyone. He felt out the mood of the guests and played music that optimized the overall mood of the reception. We were so happy with our decision to hire Matt with Amore DJ Entertainment as our wedding DJ. He was the DJ at two of my friends' weddings several years ago, and those weddings were so much fun that I knew we just had to have Matt be our DJ as well. The energy at our wedding was INCREDIBLE. The dance floor filled up in about 10 seconds and it never died down! It was exactly what I pictured for the energy of my wedding. Matt was incredibly prepared and organized heading into the day that I knew it would all go swimmingly, and it did! Matt has all his brides and grooms fill out a music workbook about a month before their weddings and that really pays off. I was able to select the vibe/type of music I wanted played before, during, and after the ceremony, what we wanted for cocktail hour and dinner, and then of course what we wanted for dancing. Every detail was considered, which is exactly how I like to handle things. I put my utmost trust in Matt and I was so happy that I did. He really made the evening what it was! Matt went above and beyond as a DJ for our wedding. He was very thorough and really took the time to get to know us as a couple as well as our guests before the big day to ensure that he provided the perfect service for us. As mother of the bride, I obviously wanted to throw a great celebration for our daughter. I had a band at my wedding 34 years ago, but I can say I wish we had gone with a DJ where the song sounds exactly as you think it will. We have used Amore DJ Entertainment for both of our kids' wedding and have NO REGRETS. While our own live band was fun, I wouldn't make the same decision again if I could have a "re-do." Matt works hard to work with the couple to understand what they want. Amore DJ Entertainment was one of the best decisions we ever made for our wedding! My husband was very particular about what our wedding music would entail, as he didn't want the, "average/cliche wedding music." Matt, the owner of Amore, was so detailed every step of the way, even including a personalized book that allowed us to pick, in detail, the music we wanted. He gave us tips, and advice, and was also just a kind person. I think a DJ can make or break a wedding as they hold the responsibility for the timeline (especially at the reception), and also hold the energy in the room when the dance floor opens. Matt did a great job DJ-ing our wedding. My husband and I are both musicians and we wanted to perform a "first song" instead of doing a first dance. He helped us with the logistics of this and had everything set up for us, so it went off smoothly and without a hitch. He is very experienced and definitely took a lot of the stress of planning a wedding off of our shoulders. Using Amore DJ entertainment with Matt as the D.J. for our daughter's wedding was the best decision we made through the whole wedding planning process. We had multiple comments of "Best Wedding Ever" and Matt was a huge part of this.
