The they gave a new doctor and the first day I meet her. She cut my medicine. I have fibromyalgia really bad, along with neck and back problems. So I asked for new doctor, which is Ashton. Because I had 2 missed appointments she dropped me to 1 pill a day for 10 days. I have been taking this so long they say it takes months before they can dropped you cold turkey. I am consider permanently disabled. But I thought I would try to work. So any way I was reading online that it is very dangerous for me to stopped cold turkey.

I have a condition that requires monthly testing and treatment is based on those numbers. LabCorp made an error of over 30 points which was the difference between full remission or full failure of treatment. LabCorp spokesman Chay Scudder refuses to discuss the issue at all even though the information is critical to my health. I will rate one star because even though the people are great if they are unable to provide accurate tests they are pretty much worthless.

I had a golf ball sized bump on my left temple, shoulder was jacked up and sticking out, and I was in a very bad state from the hit to my head (Cracked my helmet). The ambulance staff and nurses were great. As they were wheeling me into a room, I saw a guy sitting in what appeared to be a closet watching Youtube videos on his phone. Not trying to be funny but I thought it was the janitor. The nurse, (Can't remember her name but her husband was also a veteran), got me set up, spoke with me, and just was there to sit with me and make me feel comfortable. Thank you! A "Doctor" came in, and to my surprise, it was the guy sitting in the closet watching Youtube. He came out, asked me some questions which I could not understand as his English is terrible. Took a quick look at my shoulder and left. Said nothing about the golf ball sized bump on my head. From my vantage point, he went back to his closet and began watching Youtube again, I could hear it. I was in disbelief but OK, we are waiting for the Xray. He comes out again after the Xray and said I have a Shoulder Sprain without going into any details. I saw that my IV was out of my arm and told him to put it back in so I have the pain medication. I had to ask him 3 times to do this and even showed him. He left the room again and the kind nurse did this. Where do you think he went...back to the closet to watch Youtube. The nurse sat with me until my ride came and we just talked which really helped take my mind off of the pain and shock. I would think a Dr. would show more interest in a patient that just came in from a horrific crash and at least be concerned with a concussion that was visible from my forehead. Maybe ordered a CT scan at a minimum. I then started thinking maybe this guy forged his Medical training when he came over from his country. I just could not believe this is a doctor. If you get seriously hurt in Willows, California (ThunderHill Crazies...), I hope you have another choice at this facility. Salah Sherif, MD could get you killed by not going through proper procedures and showing a little more concern than wanting to get back to watching his Youtube. Must have been a good show?

I want to start by separating the quality of the medical professionals I have encountered from my…read moreexperience with Mangrove Medical as an organization. The doctor I work with is incredibly knowledgeable, as have been the medical assistants and nurses I've encountered. My criticism is not directed at them. My problem is with the administrative practices surrounding that care. The waiting room is routinely crowded, and the practice operates at an obviously high volume. Despite that, Mangrove imposes an extraordinarily high cancellation fee on patients. I receive medical care in Sacramento and the Bay Area, including through specialty practices, and I have not encountered cancellation fees comparable to what Mangrove charges. That policy is particularly galling given Mangrove's own relationship with appointment times. I have been seeing my provider for more than a year, and by my estimate, they run about 30 minutes behind on average. Yet after waiting, my appointments frequently feel rushed. I rarely spend more than 10 minutes with my provider. Waiting half an hour or more only to feel hurried through the few minutes I actually receive with my doctor is neither attentive care nor respectful of a patient's time. My experiences trying to address these delays with the front desk have been similarly frustrating. Communication about delays and their impact on patients has been consistently poor and, at times, dismissive. The result is an unpleasant double standard: patients are expected to arrive on time, accommodate Mangrove's chronic delays, accept brief appointments when we are finally seen, and pay an exorbitant fee if we cannot meet their cancellation requirements. Mangrove does not appear to hold itself to anything approaching the same standard. For patients with limited options for primary care, there is also little practical ability to simply take our business elsewhere. That makes these policies and practices even more frustrating. I wish the administrative side of Mangrove reflected the knowledge and professionalism I have experienced from the medical staff themselves. After more than a year as a patient, the disparity between the two has become impossible to overlook.

Which is too bad. She has referred me to all the people I see know and is very efficient. She will tell you if she will be able to take care of your problems. If not, she gets the MD for you. One thing to steer clear of if you can is Barbara McGuire in the psych department. She was my psychiatrist until she went to one day a week. I asked if I could see anyone with more availability. Instead of telling us no, you have to deal with one day a week. She discharged me from the practice. It took nine months to get another psychiatrist to do a hell of a lot better than she was. She has some deep rooted issues that she brings up every appointment. It's extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. She needs her own psych help desperately. If you have a choice in your care, know she will drop you in a heartbeat and make your life a living hell because she can. Two words: patient abandonment.
