Stopped here for convenience. I had just under half a tank. $4.29 a gallon. Paid $40 inside and figured it would take about $30. Slowest pump ever! Waited and waited. I had stopped watching the screen because it was so slow. I finally looked up and the pump said 8 gallons and $38. What?! Then I noticed all the gas flowing out of my tank. The machine never clicked itself off! I told the guy inside the store that there was gas everywhere near pump 10. He didn't seem too concerned. I had to wash my car after that experience. The ratings don't lie. Very rude employees here. The second we had walked in they yelled at us telling us to leave and they don't want to serve us, that they have the right to refuse service. That's something I can respect, when something wrong has happened. However, we were just trying to purchase our coffee and gas. Went for a bottle of water, water was ptoced wrong I said the correct price. I had to wait for manager who accused me of changing tag, I told him I didn't and could check camera. He then accuse me of trying to steal ice from my water cup, I dumped ice the he said never to come back. Even without his accusations I will not return. Horrible managed store and rude. read more

While the F Street AMPM has some of the best prices and the most consistent and easy to use card readers in the area, I probably would not suggest going here after dark. A couple of years ago a man threatened me with a knife as I was pumping gas here. Luckily my German Shepherd scared him off. Countless times since then, I have been accosted for money and rides. If you're going to chance this place, bring a scary dog if not a gun. read more

Among the best gas prices on the street. Only a $0.10 differential between credit and cash, which is effectively a rip off, but it's better than the one across the street with a 20-cent differential. No squeegees to clean the window. Kind of a shady crowd hanging out at the gas station. read more

Beware! I went to this station to pit gas in my car using tap pay from the outside machine. It said I put the wrong pin in twice, so i used another card. I then got a notice from my bank that said I was trying to get $175 worth of gas. My car doesn't even take $175 of gas. This is not the first time this gas station has been untrustworthy . ARCO stations are usually a guaranteed 4 stars from me die to their low prices and well stocked convenience stores. It takes A LOT for me to take away extra stars, but I have tried to use the automatic payment stations outside here for MONTHS and not once have they taken my card. The lady inside says that sometimes they don't take the cards. Well, today I tried all FOUR payment stations and not one would take my card. In addition, today, the helpful message on all four machines says "insert debit card or press cancel to use cash at another machine. So now not only can you not use debit cards outside, but you can't pay outside with cash either??? Two stars is a gift. read more

Yelp to the rescue! Unfortunately, the Arco I usually stop @ on Buck Owens Blvd. had their pumps closed down. So, to my handy dandy Yelp app I went ;) Fortunately, there was another Arco nearby, about a mile or so from here & just as cheap as this one usually is. This Arco has more pumps than the one on Buck Owens, and the convenience store part is a little bigger & a lot cleaner. Also, the bathrooms are conveniently located inside, as opposed to having to handle a dirty key that's tied to a car rim, not to mention that countless people have handled & who knows if they washed their hands...EWW! They stole a dollar from me. I went in to cash in my powerball ticket, I had 1 powerball number and I only received $3. Didn't realize that it was actually worth $4 when I got home. I am still aruging with Arco about my husbands fall on their property, they say its not their fault, well 3 broken ribs, abrazons all down his left arm ,leg, a cut on his forhead where he broke his perscription glasses, 6 weeks of pain from the ribs, and the arm and leg where the skin was taken off, he was being seen for a left knee and was getting better but now after the fall we are back at the Ortho Dept getting shots. I am told that their rug was not the problem, when we know it was he tripped on the upturned rug and fell out onto the payment. My husband is a retired Los Angeles City Firemen and does not lie about this fall. The Ins Co says they have people that keep everything inspected on the property so the rug could not be turned over. I have gotten the worst customer service here before when I got off work at 2:45am and the guy yelled at me, "no gas" without anything else and continues to escort me out the door without explaining anything and assuming I wasn't purchasing anything else. I went to pump gas and I lifted the nozzle and even before I pulled the trigger to put the gas into my tank, gasoline started to spew out of the nozzle uncontrollably. The gasoline went all over the back end of the car, hit the end of my car and splatter back onto my coat, dress, tights and shoes. If I had pressed the trigger by accident I don't think I would have allowed the gasoline to spew out for that long of a time but the gasoline spewed out for at least three seconds. I am no expert but my guess is that there was an issue with the pressure or the amount of gas that was refueled underground was too much that it had overridden the trigger on the nozzle. I went inside am/pm to talk to the cashier, told the manager to take care of the spill, got reassigned to another pump. Once at work, I took my tights off, took off my jacket and pulled over a lab coat to stop the gasoline smell, but the fumes became too unbearable that I got permission from my supervisor to be excused from work to go home, shower and put on fresh clothing. I stopped by a car wash located close to work called "Cruz Thru Express". I called BP Arco and made an incident report. They told me that they will contact the owner. I never got a call back so I called them a week later. They told me they will contact the district manager. no call back, so I called them a week later. They told me the same thing. I call them back a week later, they tell me it's been pushed to the head quarters. I call back a week later. BP arco told me they tried everything and there was nothing for me. I asked them if I should file a small claims. I am angry because the owner of this pump couldn't even call me back to apologize. I would never go back there to pump gas even it they are the cheapest in that area. The owners are seriously money hungry and don't care if they lose business b/c they get plenty of it. I don't think they should run their business this way. The question is what if the gasoline ignited? Cheap gas but if something bad happens, don't expect to get anything out. Possibly a fall would trigger them to do something but they have insurance for stuff like this, so why wouldn't they even make the effort to call and apologize. read more

We were just in there and my boyfriend is extremely positive he gave the cashier $25 and she claims he only gave her $20. So the manager came and I asked her to check the cameras and she swears that he only gave her $20. But, they refused to show us on the cameras that they claim they watched it on.
