A couple of filthy urinals, some sketchy dude tearing it up in the lone stall, and a sink so filthy you don't want to even touch it. I would avoid these restrooms unless, like me, you stop here in desperation. The actual mini-mart here is quite robust, with a full chicken and jo-jo spread as well as tons of hot food and some little tables to sit at. Had I tried the food I might be dropping another star, but with the weird lack of parking and the filthy restrooms, I can't bring myself to do it. There are some things that can't be un-smelled, and this is one of them.

It feels clean, and it feels reasonably sized. It's not a massive store size, but not every minit mart needs to be! They also take their hot food relatively seriously, having daily specials written on a white board. But the main thing is selection, and deals. They'll have a great selection pretty much all the time, and they'll have such good deals, that they've got stuff for the cheapest price in town. I've also always been extremely satisfied with the customer service. There's even been some employees that I've seen there for years, I believe. I think the gas station is great, but like I said, I'm currently seeing some of the higher prices in town. But honestly, that's not the biggest deal to me. I also REALLY appreciate the parking lot space. Sometimes, that's hard to come by. Overall, this is an extremely reliable store. Store was clean, and well-stocked. Line to checkout was long (just one checkout open) so I did the self- checkout. I didn't notice until after I got home that I had been overcharged - they had a special offer to buy four packages of specially marked meat and get them for $5/each. I bought four but was charged full price (overcharged about $7.00). I live out of the area so called to: A) arrange a refund B) let them know their system was not programmed correctly so they could fix it The person on the customer service line interrupted me and said "just bring your receipt in and we'll give you your money back". I attempted to explain that I live far away and was interrupted again with "you have 90 days." Having worked in customer service for a long time, I guess I just miss actual service recovery and genuine human responses. Even a quick "I'm sorry you experienced that" or something, but instead the response felt robotic and without a bit of empathy. It is what it is, I guess. It's unlikely I'll go back there.

This place has definitely made a few improvements, but has seemed to get to the place they'll be at for the foreseeable future...hopefully meaning a bit more consistency in overall quality. First, employees. All of them are kind, with good customer service. They've slowly hired a few additional people, but you'll get to know their few employees if you're a regular. However, they're not the best at keeping the convenience store fully stocked. There were talks for a while about adding hot food, that I'm super happy to say have finally been implemented. It has brought me much joy, because they added Krispy Krunchy Chicken. It's one of my favorite chicken places, and shockingly high quality for gas station restaurants. That has continued its streak at this establishment, thankfully. It's also keeping my overall score positive. Which brings me to the convenience store. It's essentially the same, except frequently not stocked in certain areas. They're hit or miss on having the new items as well. I'd say they'll work for regular items the average consumer is looking to find, and the prices are about average. It can also feel less clean and more cramped inside, but that isn't atypical for convenience stores, or particularly frustrating at this location. Onto the gas prices. They were some of the cheapest in the area, but are now closer to average. I think it's experienced a decline in traffic for that reason. Overall, it's maybe about the same as when it was first made a Marathon (from the previous Shell.) Their employees are incredibly nice and accommodating, so you should have a pleasant enough experience.
