DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!! The people running this place are immoral, negligent, deceitful, unprofessional, inept, and disrespectful. Buying a car from these people was a complete nightmare on every level. Paid thousands of dollars in repairs from day one of buying this car from these scammers and we were told by three different certified mechanics that it needed an additional $6000 in repairs, that it wasn't safe to drive, and that the additional $6K in repairs might not fix it altogether because there could be engine damage (which was an additional $5000 to tear apart the engine just to find out!) We paid $13,000 for the whole car! Same day we drove it off the lot, engine lights started going off. Didn't even make it home yet! CONTINUOUS leaks, damages, and even missing parts that needed repaired the first 2 months after we bought it before we finally cut our losses and got rid of it - THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN CONSTANT REPAIRS!!! The car sat in my garage, not drivable 90% of the time we owned the car. All three mechanics said that the damages to this car were extensive and that they had been there for quite some time, that it was not safe to drive, and that some damages were even concealed to hide them. Spoke to two different managers/owners at AMS Cars. Both avoided taking ANY ownership or responsibility. One said they were willing to help, however every time I called, or showed up in person after driving 30 minutes to get there, I was avoided and given the run around. Never did hear back from them even after calling more than a dozen times. No resolution and never returned my calls. Next I will be filing a complaint with the Indiana Secretary of State Auto Dealer Services Division as well as the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division so that this dealer has to answer to their fraudulent and neglectful practices finally!!!! read more

I was assured several times by Manager Sam Singh and sales agent Kevin that the vehicle was front lot ready, was test driven to ensure there were no issues. Once I received the vehicle, it had a bent rim, a bald tire, an expired tire, warped rotors, and a bad wheel bearing - all this was causing massive vibrations which there was no way they could have missed this during any test drive. I was LIED to due to being a remote purchase. They simply bought the car from an auction and placed it on their lot. If you are going to buy something here, make sure you do not trust them and have your own mechanic vet the car. But after what I have seen, the multiple phone calls and letters written to them, they will not even refund me a penny. What a NIGHTMARE.... Found the truck I needed for work with an outstanding service record.... Drove several hours to get to AMS Cars to complete the purchase. 1st WARNING was the penny's offered for a cracked windshield (DOT and LEO's LOVE those) which eventually resolved to a credit for the two bald tires. 2nd WARNING was their demand for proof of insurance on what I was buying. The trade in's Insurance card was NOT acceptable to Finance contrary to the Law and conversations with my insurance carrier.... Even received comments from a salesperson there who told me that her finance guy was WRONG. Today after a two hour wait in DMV to get plates I find out NOTHING WAS PROCESSED and the paperwork shows a Lien on the vehicle that I paid for in FULL! A call to AMS CARS asking what us going on reveals that the "Title Clerk" needs to get involved to correct and may get ahold of me today... MAYBE... The temp tags expire on the F350 before my run to SD ends and that is NOT what I need and going to cause me to have to lease another tow vehicle. I have paid these INCOMPETENT fools a $239.00 SERVICE FEE + $ 337.50 TAG AND TITLE FEE + $ 10.00 CW DEP/GW BOOSTERS (?) FEE for NOTHING but lip service. ****DO NOT BUY THIS VEHICLE OR ANY**** I have bought many vehicles but I had the worst experience at this dealership. I visited this dealership 12/7/2024. I drove about 3.5 hours to look at a truck that I had been in contact with them about for a week. I told them I would be there when they open. But when I got there they told me they had it at there detail shop and it would be about an hour so I waited. When the truck showed up you could tell that they did a quick cleaning and it looked horrible. Keep in mind, Kevin, the salesman I dealt with, never came out and showed me the truck nor did he come out and look at the issues that I was having with the vehicle. The salesman had messaged me about 13 pictures of damage on the interior and exterior of the vehicle and assured me he would show me everything so that there were no surprises. While looking over the vehicle I noticed many issues that were not brought to my attention before hand. The driver side mirror is busted and someone has attempted to glue it together, the passenger front seat is torn, needed 4 TPMS sensors, the rear bumper is dented and plastic is cracked, the sunroof does not shut, and possibly has a cracked transmission case (RTV covering something). Some issues were little but I brought them all to their attention. They never came out and looked they just said it's a used truck and it's expected. The only thing they had the audacity to say was sorry this truck is not in your budget yet I never said I had a budget just will not overpay for something like that. Although there were all these issues they refused to negotiate on the price even by a dime. It may look like a nice truck but it is not. Horrible experience dealing with AMS cars. Bought a 2014 mercedes GL 450 for my family on May 23, 2020. Was also sold a warranty for $3,600 - was told this warranty would cover anything non cosmetic on the car should anything go wrong - i agreed because i was 6 months pregnant at the time. Fast forward 6 months, the car just shut off while sitting at a stop light. Towed the car to Mercedes to find out it had a bad engine and were looking at $28,000 to fix the engine. It will cost more to fix than what i paid for the car. So now here i am with a newborn, no car, and $24k auto loan on a non working vehicle. When we drove 6 hours to buy the truck after speaking with them over the phone asking specific questions about the truck like if their mechanic had looked it over we were told yes and it was all in good working order including the transmission. I ended up stranded for over two weeks with livestock and the mechanic that we had to pay almost $4000 to install another transmission said they probably put sawdust in it to keep it from slipping while we test drive it. now we are out almost 30,000 for a truck that has other issues even after replacing the transmission. I bought a 2014 Dodge Promaster 1500, during the test drive all was good engine sounded decent, NOT BAD FOR A 2014 with 120k, I informed the dealer the vehicle was going to be used for cross country transportation so I really needed something dependable, so fast forward thru the paperwork I'm otw home and I hear a tick start to faintly sound and didn't think too much of it but when I made it home it sounded like a rod was about to shoot thru the pan! Me being upset called back and informed SAM about the situation and he gave me a option of bring it back or he would pay half of repair, so I took it to my shop and it was diagnosed as the oil pump was bad it wouldn't hold pressure they test drove it and it sunk to 8psi, along with that the doors didn't lock/unlock correctly and needed 5 different sensors which low and behold DIDNT SHOW UP TILL AFTER I MADE IT HOME!! So they said the engine would need rebuilt, or new, not doing that so I told him he had to take it back and I wanted a new one, so I went with the 2020 Promaster 2500 on the lot, waiting on his shit ball employees to do anything all day I was there for 6 hours not only did he lie cuz I put down 5k on the first one he said he would transfer that but he only put down 2,500 because the warranty that I paid for on the other van which also would NOT cover anything that was wrong with it, so screwed me over on that also and here's the kicker out of all that, THEY NEVER PAID OFF THE OTHER VAN SO NOW IM RESPONSIBLE FOR 2 VANS AND ONLY HAVE ONE VAN!!! he messed up my bills, my credit is steadily dropping cuz they think I'm not paying for a vehicle that's not mine & He's refused to answer the phone and his employees say he's never there nor will he reply to text, all of this bullshit for a guy who just wanted to create a job for someone, lm having to literally Get legal action to get anything from this, IF YOU GET ANYTHING FROM THIS OR ANY OF THE OTHER SHITTY REVIEWS PLEASSEEEEEEE DO NOT COME HERE THEY ARE BEYOND SHIIIITTTYYYYYY. Bought a truck from AMS car dealership with cash. The dealership had this truck over 6 months and did not want to deal with me on the price. The truck needed all four tires and the oil dip stick was dry. Still no negotiation on it. At this point, I should have not bought the truck. Was in need of a truck for my wife so I bought it knowing that I would have to replace the tires and do an oil change on the truck. Less than a week into owning the truck and no title in hand; the transmission started slipping. So I took it in to a local transmission shop to see what the issue is. They told me that the truck transmission needs rebuilt and that it sounds like the wheel bearings are going out. These issues where not noticeable when I test drove the truck. At this point I am frustrated for the fact that I just bought this truck. So I called the owner and the owner told me he was doing me a favor and making me spend another $1400 on this truck labor free for a used transmission. Makes no sense for a used and labor free transmission favor price. After that the owner said he would buy the truck back but not at the price I paid. Meaning trading for another. Not what I asked, I asked for my full refund back because I would have to put more money into the truck than what I already paid for it. I would not recommend buying any vehicle from this company. I was looking for a minivan on a budget. They gave me a great deal on a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country. I had been to a dealership in Greenwood with the same make and model. I had issues within a couple of days with my ignition and remote start, they did have a battery replaced. It did not correct it and I drove to AMS where they sprayed WD40 on my door as they thought it was a sensor. I take it to the shop and it is due to engine issues causing the ignition and remote start not to work properly. The repair is $1900. Less than 2 months after my purchase I still have not received my paperwork when I signed for my vehicle, it should have been given to me with the keys but I was told it would be mailed. Now my vehicle before almost 2k in repairs because the engine light isn't working and my timing chain needs replaced. Now all I do is call asking for my information and if this will be repaired to constantly get told they will call me back. Unreliable, don't use!! By the 5th business day of trying to get someone to work with me on this issue after making numerous calls, I did receive my warranty information and was told that unless my review was edited to reflect a better rating, they were not going to help. I told Sam that I wanted to know what he was offering to do before I changed it, and he said I was "holding a knife to his throat". Never once was any offer given, just that because I put out a bad review I would not get any assistance. I recently purchased my car from AMS and I will have to say that at the beginning process of test driving the car was great...customer service lady at front desk was nice and person who rode with me to test drive the car was nice as well. After test driving the car I decided that I would like to see about purchasing the car and I took the next step in filling out the application part but was then told that I would have to complete the rest the following day due to financial person had an emergency leave. Well the next day I waited for them to call me back to complete the process and when I didn't hear back from them I decided to call them instead...I was already feeling awkward at the fact that I couldn't complete the whole process the night before and I'm thinking that they would call me immediately the next day to complete everything but instead I had to call them. I will like to add that after completing the whole process I was able to get the car...which I was excited about. The financial guy I communicated with was very helpful. I was super excited that I purchased a car that was under 50,000 miles and in great condition inside and out! However, after driving car off lot later that night the car wouldn't start due to the battery, thankfully I was able to make it a battery store that night before they closed. I did reach out to AMS about it the next day and they did reimbursed me what I paid for the battery and they included gas money as well. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT do business with Ams. This dealership is full of crooks and untrustworthy people led by their manager Sam. My wife and I purchases a vehicle from this establishment February 2021 with a warranty. 1 week within having the van the check engine light came on. Called AMS who then told us to bring it back and let thing check it out. They stated it was the O2 sensors and that they would fix free of charge, great right? Not so much. The same day we picked up the vehicle check engine light comes back on so then they say the catalytic converter must be clogged but should still be ok to drive while they find one so they can replace it. Fast forward to December 2021 as the drive quality of the vehicle declined and after months of not hearing from Ams we decided to take the vehicle into the shop. After getting vehicle looked at we find out we have a bad cylinder head caused from the catalytic converter being gutted well before we purchased the vehicle. After finding this out we find out that the warranty we were sold would not cover any repairs due to what was done to the converter. They also stated that we should have never been able to reClive a warranty at all. After going back to talk to Sam he stated the only thing he could do is take the vehicle back on trade but not for what is owed or for what they sold us the vehicle fo but also he told us since he did not authorize any repairs he would not pay for the work that the shop had already done for us even to get the car back If we wanted to go that route which we did not. We then requested paperwork for the work that was done back in February after the request same refused to give the paperwork to us while we were there staying he did not have time to go get it and that we had to wait until 11am the following day and that it would be in there mailbox. After going up there at 12:30 pm to find no paperwork I then went in for Sam to tell me he did not get it and close the door in my face. All in all Sam and the people are very unprofessional and will sale you a car that will only last a few months and a warranty that does not want to fix anything. My husband and I met one of the dealers in Carmel to look at a 98 Dodge Truck on Friday 7/15. We made a deal on 7/18, even got a signed bill of sale and AMS sent my bank the title. I got a check from my bank and went to schedule pickup time, only to be avoided. I called the cell we had, main number, and text. We finally got a call from the dealer saying he sold it to someone else. THIS right here is what is wrong with this country. You cant trust ANYONE anymore!!! It is all bout $$$$.
