I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Andy Mohr Toyota. I purchased a vehicle expecting it to be safe and reliable, but shortly after the purchase I discovered several serious safety issues that should have been addressed before the vehicle was sold. The vehicle has worn tires, worn brakes and rotors, and needs a wheel alignment. These are not minor cosmetic issues--they directly affect the safety and drivability of the vehicle. As a customer, I trusted that the dealership had properly inspected the vehicle before putting it up for sale, and I feel that trust was misplaced. I am also frustrated because I specifically requested a 5-year warranty during the purchase process. After reviewing all of my paperwork, I realized that the warranty I asked for was not included or documented. This was extremely disappointing, as I relied on what was discussed during the sale. I expected honesty, transparency, and a vehicle that met basic safety standards. Instead, I have been left with unexpected repair costs and concerns about driving a vehicle that should never have been sold in this condition. I hope Andy Mohr Toyota takes responsibility for this situation, addresses these safety concerns, and improves its inspection and sales practices so other customers do not have a similar experience. read more

Not sure where to start. I bought a 2010 camry from these guys three weeks ago. Four days ago, it dies and my mechanic said it was engine failure. Guy working behind the desk says they can't do anything since it was as-is, which i get, but what a horrible way to run a business. Theft is what i call it. The guy does end up offering 4K towards another vehicle, even though paid 8 K for this. Did I mention three weeks ago. I just have a feeling they knew something and patched it together. This was my son's first car as well. If you're thinking of going here, don't. overpriced pirates. One star is too high. read more

.For starters i wouldnt give them a full star but that was my opinion. Lets begin with i bought my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited on March 9th 2026 from this place..The check engine light was on . I was told by the previous gentleman when i firat seen it the 7th of March that it was a fuel pump reset and just needed ro be drove a thousand miles and the light would go off.. Ok Should have left then but any who..After a long baggering with the "Upper Team " and my.man they told me they will " Take care of it" before i purchased my jeep..It was late and i wanted to take my New to me jeep home.I called because noone did so i called and scheduled a appointment for March 23 2026. I bought her March 9th. So 10am March 23 i " drop off " my jeep to service. Was told a minimum of 3 hours standard from a ladie working in service. Ok got my rental no charge and left to maybe get glasses. Fifteen minutes later I got a call saying that someone was interested in the vehicle they gave me to borrow. Ok so i didn't go very far as i live 45 minutes to a hour away . I brought it back and got a different rental no charge. About 4:30 i got a message my glasses where finished in Plainfield not that far away. Shortly after i show up and the dealership to find out something anything. Was told oh it will be tomorrow.Waited and i finally called and they said yes its done..I got off work early to get there as it was a hour away.Called on my way and asked for paperwork since service would be closed when i got there. No paperwork. Ok whatever i got my jeep back..I drive maybe 25 minutes and the light comes on again. March 23 2026. I called to speek with someone and didnt get any answer as to why my jeep isnt fixed. Monday are my only day off to.do anything. So i patiently wait . So i take it to them on March 30th and tell them its not fixed.Long story short. I was told they have to order the part. Ok finally something .I wait 2 weeks and nothing so i call them around 12: 30 ish April 13th to ask about the part. Yes its in she said. I can make a appointment. Well she made it for 2pm that day. They took it and i waited til 5:13 and they come to me and say. Ohh no no it no fixed. Need more time . So u need to arrange someone to pick you up .Will be tomorrow before done. I kindly tell him i live a hour away and they said ok we fix. Was gonna take another hour to hour and a half to " fix" .Twenty minutes later they say it fixed and printed me papers work. Was very short with me. What ever. My jeep finally fixed. I drove it home no worries. My family wanted food as i got home later then expected so i ran to get them food. Remote started it cuz it wouldn't let me before. Yay it worked . I drive a mile away from home and the MF check engine light came back on. Dont buy or let them work on your stuff . Its not like i was buying a POS. Im livid. I want to be at service the minute they open ..A hour away and get a rental and fly to work a hour again to be at work on time at 10am. Dont do it. It's a rare thing to find a true lifelong dealership, but Andy Mohr Toyota fits that mold perfectly. I recently purchased a car from them, and the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. Everyone I interacted with was honest and sincere, and what really surprised me was the post sale care. They have checked in personally multiple times to make sure everything is running smoothly, and it is refreshing in a time when most places disappear the moment the paperwork is signed. Not here. They are focused on building real relationships and being there whenever you need them. You have earned a lifelong customer. A sincere thank you to Ben as well. Everyone was great until I found unauthorized charges when questioning the total charges. You get no papers, they are given to you on a computer drive and mine was blank. I was charged for a Ziebart package which the car sticker said was included and which was also verified by my salesman, Thomas Porter. There was also a sticker on the window saying the car had already been treated which it actually hadn't been. There's a certain window in which you have to take the car to Ziebart and had I not been asking questions, I would have missed the window and lost my money. The dealership will say nothing but "you signed the contract" which actually is electronically added to all papers by the finance dept. I had someone with me that day that also says I didn't authorize this plan and Ziebart says it's typically included in the price of the car. Upon filing a complaint with the Toyota Corporate Office, I was later sent an email that I had to resolve it with the dealership and their less than friendly "manager" Stephanie wouldn't even allow me to talk without cutting me off. BEWARE of their less than honest practices and don't trust finance. read more

I went to this dealership in January 2025 to test drive a Toyota Sequoia. We called ahead of time and noted the lady's name who we talked to and were prepared to speak with upon arriving. When we got there a young guy (different person from whom we talked to previously) welcomed us. We told him who we planned to see. He asked what we were there for and then completely hijacked the visit at that point, never did take us to the original lady we asked for. I thought this was weird but figured she was maybe off for a lunch break, etc etc. Later that day we received a call from her to check if we were still coming, as if she had been there waiting for us. I found this highly offputting; when we ask for someone who we had previously committed to we should be able to speak with that person, rather than have another staff person "steal" our business from the rightful team member. Either way, on our test drive, I was also not happy that the guy went in the car with me; he didnt ask if I wanted him there, just came along. To his credit it was snowing that day so I ended up not minding this as much, but I had just been at Lexus and test drove an SUV and drove it on my own. Had it been normal weather I would not have liked this. Another thing I didnt like was he had me stop at a gas station so he could fill it up with gas! This should be done on down time, not while a potential buyer is trying the vehicle out--felt like he was "double dipping" in terms of how he used his time, and at my expense which I did not like. Finally, when we returned to the dealer, young guy kept trying to make a deal which again I found offputting bc we started the entire visit stating we are NOT buying anything that day. I was still testing out different vehicles I was interested in, and do not buy anything on the spot ever ever. Regardless, he kept pushing, asking what things I would change, telling me the specific model I wanted (which was not on the lot of course) never ever gets sold in Indiana, as its a special model, so I would need to settle for his version he has. He wasnt as knowledgeable about the Sequoia as we felt he should be; kept telling us incorrect info but eventually did go talk to his superior and corrected himself. We finally just had to cut him off and leave (after he brought us a pricing sheet of course bc he was still trying to make a sale despite us telling him we are NOT buying day of), as our kids were spazzing out and I was just OVER the pushiness. Places like this make me really understand why people go to Carmax et al rather than deal with pushy dealerships. I wont be returning, and will in lieu wait until the Toyota in Terre Haute gets what I want. I dont care how long it takes, as I had a much more pleasant experience there. read more

Update: It's two weeks since the purchase. I have driven less than 300 miles and new problems have manifested. I had to travel to Bedford, IN this morning so I hopped into the JEEP and drove maybe 2.5 miles when the engine began to misfire when I accelerated beyond 30 mph. This continued for 30+ miles. At that point the engine temperature dial spiked and an Engine Temp HOT light appeared on the dash panel. I pulled off of the highway and turned off the car for about ten minutes. I checked the oil and it was in the normal range. There were no apparent leaks or steam present. I resumed the trip. The warning light turned on and off intermittently for the next twenty miles. The dial would go up and down many times throughout the trip. When I reached Bedford I turned the car off and let it sit for over 40 minutes. I started home and within a mile the HOT light came back on. I shutoff the A/C (90F degree day). That made for an uncomfortable experience adding to the stress of not knowing whether or not I would get home. I finally made it home after an unnecessarily long trip due to starting and stopping and travelling well below the speed limit to lessen the strain on the engine. I am not going to Mohr Toyota for service after they screwed me on the purchase. Now, I have to find a reputable shop to diagnose the many issues. Anyone who reads both parts of my review would be a complete fool to purchas a vehicle from any Andy Mohr dealership. I was told they don't have my tires, but could get me a rental. Rental place called and said we have your reservation and you only owe $50. Scheduled an oil appointment over an hour and a half after they took the car back. I go to check with the advisor to see how close I am due to the fact that I just been to Costco and I have food items in the trunk . Yes, I did gamble with the food items, but keep in mind I have an appointment and the oil change for about 45 minutes or so so I thought things would be good in the trunk. First off I walked back and she's on her phone texting and I have to stand clear my throat she at me no smile like and then she was kind of rude like, what can I do for you and I told her I want her to check my car. She checked my phone number she asked me a couple times the number and then she said she would go check. She came back and said oh yeah just give us 35-45 minutes and I said so it's just now being taken back?!?! She said no ma'am we have been working on it! I said it's just here for an oil change. She says I know they're getting ready to drain the oil and then put the oil back in rotate the tires....I say so they're just now starting it if they are just now starting, I'm gonna reschedule because my food's gonna go bad. She said it's already in the air! They've been working on it !! again. I said it's only here for an oil change so I'm very confused and she just stares like I'm being very rude and I said it only takes 35-45 minutes for an oil change so what you're trying to tell me is they are just now starting ? Nothing she just stares at me. Terrible customer service horrible if you make an appointment, it should not be an hour and 40 minutes before they take your car back or should they should at least come out and Communicate with you. If she has time to be on her phone texting then she sure as the heck has time to come out and communicate with her customer and let them know. Hey by the way, I know it's been a lengthy time. They're just now getting it cause we're backed up. That would've been satisfactory, but for her to look at me a deer in the headlights like she was shocked that I was surprised that it's gonna take another 45 minutes she just wouldn't answer my question and say they just now taking it back !!!! Ok... so I have to do further on my review !!! I decided earlier to put the review just because I think the customer service they were so poor which I didn't even share with you my purchase experience of only having one set of keys to a brand new car and them asking me to drive two hours round-trip to have another set made at my own cost! We wouldn't even talk about that by the way I asked for general manager to call me over that issue still to this day. I bought my car in July still no return phone call. So here we sit now shortly after I put this review, the advisor came out to the lobby and got me out that wow that was really fast and went from 3545 minutes to about 20 anyway so I followed her back. She was a Word less!!! didn't say a word to me just handed me paperwork.!!! I took the paperwork and I said as I where is my vehicle and she said I think it's out there and she so I looked and I said where and she said somewhere out there so I went out and I found my car no big deal and as I'm getting in I see Fingerprints of oil all over my door frame and I'm already just perturbed. I'm perturbed because I think the service is so poor but I'm like whatever I just gotta get out of here so as I get in am thinking to myself oh my God this car stinks. You can smell cigarette smoking it. It just smell like a dirty ass anyway I keep my car pristine and I mean, I just traveled, but my car is wiped perfectly clean. There was absolutely not a speck of dust in my car get in there. There's oil fingerprints all over the door jam all over where the controllers and dash . Of course my seat is all the way back. I understand that because they have to Adjust to see, but they didn't even try to take it back to the adjustment so I get in and I touch the steering wheel in my hand literally just is covered in black thank goodness I have Clorox wipes so I get the Clorox wipes and I start wiping the steering wheel and words don't describe and I have pictures that I could post And I'm just gonna leave because I think whatever and I think now I'm gonna go show the service manager, which by the way he's the one who checked me!! so I pull up to the service bay I walk in. I have a fistful of an I mean Filthy black oily Clorox wipes I walk in. I set them on his desk. Zero he says nothing I ask him is this suitable I bring my car in pristine do you not use seat covers? Do you not use steering wheel covers? Do not put down floor mats nothing just stares at me I leave I go to proceed to wipe the rest of the stuff out of my car. Service Department never returns phone calls! Do not buy service contracts offered by Finance Manager. Only one person in service department knows how to work with contractors. Took two weeks of calling almost daily to finally get a service appointment once I mentioned the warranty. After I was in there it took a while to find the person who knew how to do it. Andy Mohr Toyota is where I bought my used Honda recently, and it was a terrible experience. Here is the summary- Car listed on their website, price was good, car looked good, called and spoke to a sales person, got a few details, hours of operation, made arrangements to travel there for the purchase. Drove to Indy, arrived at the dealer in the morning, test drove the car, it is nice, agreed to purchase. Sat at a table, sales guy brings the deal sheet, it includes the advertised price, tag fee, tax, and two charges totaling and additional $800. One is for "VIN etching" for $500 and a second one is for "Paint Protection". I said I am not interested in either of those, but I will pay the other charges which I know are legit charges, please rewrite this and remove the two additional charges. Sales person leaves, brings back a manager who tells me those services have already been performed and cannot be removed. I ask him to show me the website with the purchase price and he says these are in addition to that advertised price and they cannot be removed. I grab my stuff and begin to say goodbye when he says he can remove the $500 VIN etching charge but the $300 Paint Protection has to stay, "it's really nice" he says. I tell him this is bait and switch and it's wrong and he says he agrees but the dealership adds these to every car they sell (they have several dealerships BTW). He says it's a "Profit Fee". They car is what I want and i'm pretty good at raising a stink so I agree to pay the extra $300 and go to the finance office. Dude there, when I bring it up, says "Indiana law allows us to charge this, so good luck disputing it". I promise him I will be getting my $300 back, just wait. We do the deal, I get all the names and business cards and start my email campaign the next Monday. Dealership leadership, Indiana Attorney General, all CC'd to the dbags I dealt with. 4 days go by and I get a call from a nice lady in the dealership business office asking for my mailing address so she can mail me a check for ......$300. I thank her for her help, cash the check, and tell everyone I can what a crooked place these Andy Mohr dealerships are. read more

Rudest workers imaginable. The initial salesperson was perfectly nice and courteous. But this Toyota doesn't understand car negotiating and called us disrespectful for offering lower than what they determined they'd sell for despite us intentionally offering within the Kelly Blue Book range. We gave our highest offer. They said no, fine that's the nature of negotiating. But they did so under the guise of a "counter" that wasn't a counter at all. They just took off the "optional" service we told them to take off and acted like it was a counter. We said no, they did the game of bringing over the supervisor, and he was as rude as can be. I told him it was rude to fake a counter, reiterated our final offer, and after explained his estimation of the cars value in a very patronizing tone, he called us disrespectful and walked away. Would never go here again. Edit: later found a BRAND NEW version of the exact car we were looking at. Found it at a different Toyota dealership for less than what we were offering for the used car at Andy Mohr. Don't fall for their tricks. read more

Bought a used Ford Fusion SEL (had been traded in by someone) at Andy Mohr Toyota a couple of weeks ago. Took it for a test drive and everything was fine, minus a tire sensor message, which I wasn't concerned about. While test driving the car, I specifically asked the salesman if the car had been checked for any codes. He replied that it had been checked and was not showing any codes. I let them know I wanted to buy it. Less than five minutes after leaving the car lot, the check engine light came on, the temperature gauge went all the way to hot, and the engine went into limp mode. We checked it when we got home, and it was throwing a P1299 code (thermostat, sensor, etc.). Called the dealership and they said I signed the paperwork agreeing to buy it as is, and there was nothing they could do about it. I understand what I signed, but I also believe that the salesman/dealership knew about this problem and intentionally failed to disclose it, even when asked them directly if there were any codes. I'm currently about $615 poorer trying to get the problem diagnosed and repaired, and just took it back to the mechanic for the fourth time in two weeks. Disappointing when a business like this shows you exactly why car salesmen are portrayed as lying, scum bag, con men. If you're considering buying a car, I would pass this place by. read more

The sales team was amazing - Russ Seals & Brandon Lee made this the best car buying experience I have ever had. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and no nonsense type of guys. I always dread going to a car dealership, in the past I have always felt like I was getting taken advantage of. I appreciate that I never felt like that at Andy Mohr. Herman - in financing was also great, made us feel like we were at home. Worst dealership in Indiana. If you are a Toyota fan, run far far away from this dealership as they will leave a terrible taste in your mouth. Without a doubt, Andy Mohr Toyota is the worst dealership in Hendricks County. The service department there is unprofessional, rude, and very poor quality. After a simple oil change and tire rotation on my new Tacoma, they somehow "forgot" to put the lug nuts on, something I quickly found out while driving it on the highway away from the dealership. They also scammed us out of the drivetrain warranty present for 36k miles, and required us to pay $3k+ at 11k miles for a complete repair. And yes, we are pursuing arbitration. Moussa from the service department loves to put words in the customers mouths, something evident on our bill for this repair. All this to say... Andy Mohr and his employees are frauds, irresponsible, and downright rude. Stay away. read more

Fraudulent Financial managers: Organized theft is being committed in this dealer. When I bought a car they asked me to pay paint protection or warranty for paint of my car but that was not true. I took my car to them when the paint is peel off, they send me to the car wash company called Zeibart which can not fix the paint. So, each financial manager has relationship with Zeibart to cheat customers and share the stolen money from customers. read more

Based on past experiences with others in the auto industry, I'm always a little skeptical during my dealings with any of them. My purchase of a 2020 Tacoma had some 'unique' and somewhat complicating circumstances and I must say, everything Dante Groves stated during the negotiation was held to 100%. ‼NEVER. EVER. EVER BUY FROM ANDY MOHR TOYOTA!‼ I bought my car from here 10 months ago. My initial experience was great and I was happy with a car I loved. This part is important: when I bought the car, they offered me a COMPLETE, FULL, BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY for $30-$40 extra per month. They said absolutely ANYTHING that was wrong with my car, except for the tires, was COMPLETELY COVERED. I accepted it of course, because that's a great deal! The other day my car overheated, and when I put more coolant in, the reservoir was almost empty again within a day. So, while I was at work, my dad took it into Andy Mohr so they could fix it using my super duper full coverage warranty! Turns out, they lied about it. It's not a full coverage warranty. It only covers *some* things. THEY LIED TO ME. And, conveniently, 3 out of the 4 things that were wrong with the car weren't covered. LET ME REPEAT: THEY LIED TO ME WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR. AND NOW THEY WANT ALMOST $2000 FROM ME. So I called from work and spoke to them, and told them "Listen, I have a full coverage warranty. THATS WHAT YOU TOLD ME I HAD WHEN I GOT IT!" Basically what he said was, "yeah, sorry, I don't know who told you that but yeah it'll be $1800." Yeah, no thanks. I wasn't about to give a penny to the people who just committed AUTO FRAUD against me. So my dad took it to another place, a place that specializes in Buicks (which is what I have). This other guy figured out everything that was wrong, ran my warranty through, and you know what he's charging me? $100. YEP. THATS IT. ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. ONE ZERO ZERO.
