If you've ever undertaken a remodeling project, you've probably come to realize that there always seems to be more work than you anticipated. Replacing a bathroom cabinet turns into, "A new sink would sure look nice with my new cabinet!", which then turns into, "A new tiled backsplash would really make the sink and cabinet look great!", and on, and on... Leon is the man for all of these jobs. At my current (still incomplete) stage, he has replaced my fiberglass shower with a cast-iron tub, installed a gorgeous custom tile surround with built-in niche and mosaic accents, hung and trimmed all interior and exterior doors, installed all baseboards, made adjustments to cabinets so my new range fits perfectly, plumbed my kitchen & bath sinks, installed new dishwasher & over-range microwave, built 2 custom closet systems, built a custom enclosure for a new stackable washer/dryer and will be installing my new super-low-energy windows. Whew. The two reasons I've continued to hire him for all of these jobs are the high quality work he does and his extremely reasonable prices. On top of all this, he cleans up after each job, he offers helpful suggestions & cost-saving tips, and he's just a pleasant & friendly guy to have around. I recommend Leon to anyone in need of a construction handyman. He's quick to respond and works you into his schedule quickly, too!

I had an add-on room with sliding glass doors that were in bad shape... I called Leon to fix the…read moreroom. Leon took out the glass doors, walled it up and added French doors. He painted the inside and outside. We came up with some last minute changes of adding exterior lights on the new wall. He did that without any issues and even added an exterior electricity socket for us. He worked around my schedule and was able to knock everything out in less than 4 days. His pricing is also very low, you cannot ask for more. I will have Leon come out again in august to do some bathroom tile work and tub replacement. I highly recommend Leon for any work that you need to do.

Great guy but he started helping me build a tiny house and he said 2 weeks for completion. 3.5 weeks later nowhere near completed. Once you pay him he loses all motivation to complete the project. Ended up finding a new contractor to do some of the work I already payed him for. He lacks communication and determination to get the job done

His pricing, according to him, was mostly based on the time it would take to get to the job site, the gasoline burned and the wear and tear on his vehicle, having to stop along the way to purchase the necessary materials to do the job, and him deciding that I was an hour away based on my zip code. Actually, I live in Sherman not Tom Bean, about 15 minutes away, based on the location that was given for his business. And, I already had the necessary materials. If only he had actually made some inquiries about the job and my specific location before quoting me such an absurd amount. The one star was given sole on the impression I have of the text message he sent me.
