He was able to pack an amazing amount of productive, actionable information into our appointment slot and did not waste any of our time together. We were able to meet virtually which was really convenient, and it's a comfort to know he's local to our area in case we want to meet in person. Katrina was also great, and in fact it's awesome to find a fiduciary office with any female employees at all. On that note: I have personally (really) often had the experience with CPAs, finance folks, bankers, etc, that men sometimes really dismiss women, even if we are the customer paying for the services and knowledgeable about the needs. I typically only work with men who have been recommended by other women anymore for this reason and I was a little hesitant as I cold called fiduciary offices. Well, let me be the woman recommending William to you! He seems like a great dude, he was thoughtful, listened, was attentive, and understood what we were talking about. I never felt talked over or dismissed, and didn't feel that gender was an issue as I had with other "professionals". He was proactive, down to earth, and ethical. Give these folks a try! When I first contacted him for bankruptcy, Mark explained the law, outlined in clear language the steps in the process that needed to be done. He was knowledgable as well. He filed my bankruptcy case and I was very pleased with the services that were provided by Mark and his office. I was just served on Christmas Eve with a summons for another matter and I did not seriously expect a return call from the office until Monday. Well, Mark called me back on Christmas Day. And he was on his way to his family gathering where he was going to play the piano for his relatives. I had previously used him for a bankruptcy situation and the case was flawless. He had thoroughly reviewed my debts and income and filed very quickly. Because of his excellent work in getting my case filed, my credit reports all revealed that all my bills were covered by my bankruptcy. When I received the notice of my recent lawsuit for another type of case, I knew that i could reach out to Mark to get straight, honest advice, because that is exactly what he had provided in the past. Again, he reached out to me on the holiday and within 10 minutes he guided me in the right direction. I was able to attend my family gatherings with confidence that the bogus lawsuit filed against me would be taken care of. That being said, I wish I knew about this place two years ago. They are one of the best, if not the best, utilities you can use if you are trying to start your own business. If you are unfamiliar with what these guys do, they focus on helping people start up their own business from the ground up. Their specialty is working with people starting a micro-business (less than 10 employees) but they do work with small business owners too. Their process starts with a 6 week class on how to write a business plan, where to get financing, how to pitch your business idea to investors, how to get up and running, how to manage through your first few years in business, and so much more. The class is quite worthwhile and you make a lot of good connections with others who are going through the same process as you. Some of them may even be beneficial for your own business. After you go through that class they help setting you up with needed faculties like CPAs, HR reps, marketing people, etc. Then they sit down one-on-one and work on how to go about getting financing. They offer some micro-loans up to $100K and some other grants as well. If you choose to go down that path then they review your request, set you up with actually talking to a loan officer and helping you with other items like a location for you store. Everyone I've worked with at ECDI has been very helpful and professional. They definitely are a great place to go to if you find yourself getting stuck on your business planning and don't know were to turn to next.

I was uncomfortable with what was happening and wanted to change my portfolio allocation. They said no. Adam literally said to me "It's not like it's real money anyway." It certainly was when I gave it to him. I called the bank where he keeps client funds and had him removed as the manager from my account. I get the same portfolios, at a lower rate, and they do what I ask them to do when I ask them to do it.
