I know that he went OUT-OF-HIS-WAY, to make sure I was taken to the right Dept. to get my taxes paid-up, to save my house from being auctioned. I'm 68yrs. old & being a TBI survivor, I have some mental issues that I can't help, he seemed to have understood that & instead of taking advantage of me, as most do, he was very kind, patient, thoughtful, understanding, RELIABLE & an all-around GOOD-HEARTED PERSON. I'd trust him, w/my mother. He even made a special trip, to insure my home was safe from being impounded by the Govt. I owe him more that I could ever repay, for helping this Old, Retired, Disabled Vet, save his home. I KNOW HE'S MADE MY CHRISTMAS LIST... Ive been taking this train from East Lansing to Chicago for over a decade! The conductor and…read moreattendants are usually kind and they keep the train clean. My only complaint is that the prices surge depending on occasion. It's normally around $50-60 round trip one weekend it was $124 ONE WAY! I was in disbelief! I've paid as much as $88 one way and honestly, it's criminal! Especially when the food cart isn't always available and sometimes there are delays. But those prices are insane.

How can you not like that? Far better than the outdated Amtrak station in Detroit, which desperately needs upgrading. And nicer than the 'Amshack' station building that still is used in Ann Arbor.
