I would visit a few times, and the new machines just didn't tempt me. So when I say my most recent Namco station visit came at a surprise, it really did. It had bigger, newer and cooler machines, designed to capture fun for all groups and ages. It almost reminded me back to when I first visited Namco station. I love the giant size connect 4, and the dodging laser beams. Overall I had a great time, something different and best possible way to kill time.

Usually around this time of year is also very cold so bundle up. The place is a fair and a Christmas market all in one. The fair has many rides for all, from toddler to young adult to more mature. The rides use tokens/tickets and those can be purchased there or beforehand as well. They have some pretty nice thrills but if roller coasters and that kind of stuff is not your thing, not to worry, they have other fun rides that are not as intimidating, and lots of games to test your luck. The market is full of items that can be gifted for the holidays, and they have food all throughout the park, BUT they also have areas where you can sit to have a drink, and yes an adult drink haha with love music and bands, and this is probably top3 for me to do there, you feel some kind of brother/sisterhood sitting there next to strangers bonding over classic songs. This place also includes, an ice sculpture area and a circus ! Truly so much to do here, that if possible, you need at least 2 days to soak it all in. The weekends are super packed so if you don't like crowds, probably best to visit during the week. Many snack bars were closed, but that was not a bad thing. Still, there were no long lines. There is hardly any good/healthy food. The themes are randomly thrown together and the park has no guideline (more). It seems like they have lost their concept. The theme was Oktoberfest and it was poorly executed. The employees who drove around in cheap costumes in a kind of rickshaw and played (Romanian) music, rather made fun of the other nationality (German). What a blast. I loved it!!…read more I was lucky enough the other night to get a ticket for the adults night and had such a good time. I thought when I saw the tickets were valued at £29 that it was a bit on the expensive side, but it was 4hours of solid fun. Kidzania is really aimed at children aged 7-11. It's to give them a sample of working life in a fun way. It's informative, plus they can earn money for some roles, and have to pay to do some fun things. On arrival we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco, in a mock up British Airways check-in area. This was alos where you could check bags etc in that you did not want to lug around. After going through the metal detector, you are greeting by the sight of a mini city on two levels. It's a really big space, with about 60 jobs and experiences to choose from. Unfortunately it seems that only 8 people at a time can do the roles, so you need to plan your time well, as you could find yourself spending most of the 4 hours waiting in line. There were some other yelpers there, so we decided that the first thing we would do, would be the chocolate making with Cadbury's as we had been tipped off that this was popular and gets busy later on during the session. It was fun we then went next door to make an All Natural Honey Nut bar. The real fun for me started when we went downstairs. Elisa T and i first tried our hands at being couriers. We had to collect parcels from the jewellers and British Airways, as well as bleed from the hospital, which we then had to return everything to base.We than ah a go at being police officers. Our briefing was interupted by the news of a fire at a nearby hotel. We had to dash over and stop people crossing the tape securing the disaster area. Our next role was to be security guards, collecting large ampounts of money from various businesses. This was followed by the longest wait, which was to be a firefighter. This was a hoot, going the the fire scene in a miniture fire engine. We are got to hose the fire out at the scene of the fire. Our last role was to be paramedics, where we returned to the fire scene to attend the wounded and burnt victims. Again we arrive at the scene in a miniture ambulance. It really was a fun evening. You do have to throw yourself into the role playing to get the most out of it. I'm already planning to visit again with friend when they hold another adults evening. It was a hoot!

The really cool thing about this place is that there is no time limit during the week, so your kid can play there all day ( well, from 10:00 - 18.00). During the weekend its super busy and the kids can only play for max 2 hours- thats why we like to go during week days. There is also a Cafe area for the adults with free Wi-Fi, toy shops, organic food, drinks, coffee etc. The staff is nice but they have a couple of ladies that remind me of witches and they look very bored with their lives. One of them can be quite rude sometimes. They organise birthday parties ( with different themes-dinosaurs, hello kitty etc) and they have all kinds of deals. The parties include meals and party bags. Other facilities include separate children's toilets, disabled toilets, baby changing room and pram park. They provide baby bouncers and high chairs. A great place for local families with young children and a great place for kids to burn off their energy when the weather outside is sucky.

They denied this as it is not their policy to refund. Whilst I understand a policy, I explained it was a genuine oversight and I would not benefit from a credit as I don't live nearby to use this. One kind manager did contact the owner about this but they refused to give me a refund. My five year old was left in tears as we were unable to then afford an alternative place to book. What an awful money grabbing business!!!! Please don't give them any more of your money!!!

The other problem is that adults should be with their children in the bumper car queue because other children queue jump and the Gambado staff do not sort this out. This is of course very upsetting for children and parents alike. They should have a better queueing system or at least one staff member operating the ride and a second controlling the queue. The clever thing would be a proper queueing system which actually lines people up properly. However today there was a great staff member who actually stopped the queue jumpers and he should be applauded, he also really cared and was great with the children. It is also expensive however it is so good they can happily get away with it.
