We were able to use the house to get ready and keep our personal items, and he was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. When the big moment arrived, guests were in awe at the beauty of the chapel area and reception room. The service was impeccable, and when guests spilled or created a mess, Dan himself responded immediately to keep the area clean, safe, and presentable. We had a beautiful moment after the dancing started... Dan opened the large back doors to reveal the sunsetting over the fields, and there was a collective "wow" by all the guests. Over the course of the afternoon and evening, we had guests taking pictures on the property, playing bags in the field, enjoying drinks on the grounds, eating, and dancing. Not one guest had a negative comment. Everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you Dan and Hudson Farm staff for making this day everything my family hoped it would be. The facility is very clean and spacious with high ceilings, and they have it beautifully set up with nice lighting. There was plenty of room for our buffet, table seating for everyone to sit down for dinner, the 360 photo booth that we rented, the bar, and the dance floor. Though everything inside the reception barn is picture perfect, when Dan opened the barn door at about 7:00 pm, all of the guests were blown away. We had a perfect evening with pleasant temperatures and a gorgeous sunset, and it became and indoor / outdoor event in a beautiful pastoral setting. The graduates and their families had such a fantastic time in a unique setting that made for a night we will never forget. I was nervous about having Dish Passionate as our caterer since we didn't get a choice of caterers for going with our specific wedding reception venue- but she was awesome! My only complaint is that Dish Passionate does not communicate well via email. They were hard to get a hold of for setting up a tasting. Also they forgot to set aside a plain chicken for aunt who has many allergies- but she was able to eat something else from our buffet instead and had no complaints. Despite the communication- the day of our tasting and our wedding day- everything was perfect! They set up a table with white linen, and served us as if we were at a restaurant. The food was amazing and we got to try many things. They even let us take home the leftovers! It's so worth it to do the tasting- not only for price of mind but also their customer service and presentation! Thank you so much for our delicious wedding meal! We loved it!!
