The services that we had used from Elite: 1) I bought my wedding dress and veil through Elite Bridal and my mom bought her Mother of the Bride's dress- my mom and I had so much fun finding my dress there- they have COUNTLESS options for all budgets and styles! If you book an appointment in advance I know there is the option to have a VIP experience, I decided to save some money and just went with a regular visit in the afternoon, during the week, and still felt like a VIP!! All of the ladies at Elite Bridal were wonderful and very easy to work with! 2) We did limo through Elite Limos and originally booked the Escalade limo, for a decent price. However, the Escalade had an unfortunate incident with a deer the week before our wedding but Kaitlin & Ryan were very kind and offered to upgrade us for free to the Party Bus or Hummer Limo- we chose the party bus and it was fantastic! 3) We chose to have our DJ through Elite Entertainment and Jeff Blankenship wound up being our guy! We received so many compliments all night on how awesome the DJ and music was and how no one had ever seen so many people on the dance floor through the whole night! Everyone is talking about how much fun they had at our wedding and I think Jeff & Elite Entertainment had a lot to do with that!! Thank you!! 4) We also chose to do Chiavari Chairs through Elite Entertainment, and they were beautiful!! I received a lot of compliments on how pretty they were and really added to the ambiance in the room! 5) Stacy from Elite helped us order tuxes through Jim's Formalwear and all of the tuxes looked great on the guys and they said they were very easy to order. Many of them needed to order them from out of state or far away (more than half actually!) and they also said it was a very easy process. My husband actually needed a different size jacket and vest when he received his in the mail and when he called Jim's Formalwear to get the new size it came in the mail very quickly TWICE!! He received it in the mail in plenty of time for us to get married. All in all- we would choose Elite all over again for the quality of service that they provided. Every interaction that I had with them via e-mail, phone, or in person was equally as personable and helpful. I have heard that some people in the area don't go with Elite because it's too "pricey" but I disagree- if you choose them for multiple services then you end up getting discounts galore! We actually saved money by going with them for so many things AND received high quality and trustworthy services! We ended up having severe rain all day during our wedding and some things needed to be moved around last minute- my aunt who was acting as our day- of coordinator on my behalf said that Elite was very easy to work with and that between her, Kaitlin from Elite, and Caitlin from the Regent (our ceremony and reception location) everything was taken care of! Palace Events provided drapery, lighting and a chandelier, which created the perfect setting! Courtney was the coordinator we worked with and she was polite and very organized. She also was proactive in seeing an issue with the lighting and fixed it before I had to mention anything. In addition, we used their Standard Photo Booth and were so glad we did! Sam was easy to work with and created the perfect photo design for our wedding! There were many options, including videos and GIFs--our guests had a blast with it! Because I had a prior good experience renting tables and chairs for an outdoor event, I was shocked…read morewhen dirty, scratched up chairs with missing feet arrived. These were completely inappropriate for my indoor event. I was offered replacements, but given the condition of the first chair delivery I did not trust that any replacement or upgrade would be of the quality I had hoped. Time constraints and the importance of the event prevented me from taking the risk so I drove across town to Herriott's for much pricier, freshly repainted chairs. The owner refused to give even a partial refund despite the chairs being returned prior to the contracted date.

These people are the absolute worst in the area. The owner is a complete jerk. My fiancé called to…read moremake the last payment a month before our wedding and the owner told her that no payments had been posted. She responded as anyone would (without yelling or using foul language) and the owner refused to accept her payment and told us they will not rent to us...after we had already paid them! My sister also rented from them and had a similar problem (as another reviewer) with the dance floor being completely unusable. Throughout the entire process, the owner and all the staff were rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. I just got off the phone with them, as they refuse to talk to my fiancé now, and the owner said she's posted a refund to our debit card but the transaction hasn't showed up and this is day 3. When asked how long it usually takes she responded: "I don't know, I'm not a credit person." in a very rude, cold tone. I'm afraid I may have to report them to the BBB and get in touch with an attorney in order to get our money back. The whole experience has been utterly terrible. We were initially quoted a price for tent + table + chairs + dance floor. They itemized the costs. When we removed the table and chairs, the price did not lower accordingly. The difference was a few hundred dollars higher than it should have been. It appears as if they set the cost at whatever they feel like at the time. If you want your wedding and/or party to be a disaster, these are your guys. Otherwise, save your bride the stress and look elsewhere :) Update 6-6-11: They short-changed us on the refund. BBB complaint was registered in hopes of receiving the rest of the refund. Update 8-8-11: BBB closed the complaint unresolved: "Customer not satisfied with business response; BBB did not find business made good faith effort to resolve complaint". The complaint was to receive the rest of our refund to which the owner went on a 450 word rant about how good her business is, how many weddings they have a week, what liars we are, and how terrible we were as customers. Conclusion: This business has treated us like the trash. The owner is incredibly rude and our very simple problem of a refund was not resolved (they were willing to take a BBB hit rather than issue a full refund?? Talk about a hard-headed morons!). A business that dropped us days before the wedding and wouldn't even issue a full refund...I can't imagine why anybody would want to do business with these scammers.
