The services that we had used from Elite: 1) I bought my wedding dress and veil through Elite Bridal and my mom bought her Mother of the Bride's dress- my mom and I had so much fun finding my dress there- they have COUNTLESS options for all budgets and styles! If you book an appointment in advance I know there is the option to have a VIP experience, I decided to save some money and just went with a regular visit in the afternoon, during the week, and still felt like a VIP!! All of the ladies at Elite Bridal were wonderful and very easy to work with! 2) We did limo through Elite Limos and originally booked the Escalade limo, for a decent price. However, the Escalade had an unfortunate incident with a deer the week before our wedding but Kaitlin & Ryan were very kind and offered to upgrade us for free to the Party Bus or Hummer Limo- we chose the party bus and it was fantastic! 3) We chose to have our DJ through Elite Entertainment and Jeff Blankenship wound up being our guy! We received so many compliments all night on how awesome the DJ and music was and how no one had ever seen so many people on the dance floor through the whole night! Everyone is talking about how much fun they had at our wedding and I think Jeff & Elite Entertainment had a lot to do with that!! Thank you!! 4) We also chose to do Chiavari Chairs through Elite Entertainment, and they were beautiful!! I received a lot of compliments on how pretty they were and really added to the ambiance in the room! 5) Stacy from Elite helped us order tuxes through Jim's Formalwear and all of the tuxes looked great on the guys and they said they were very easy to order. Many of them needed to order them from out of state or far away (more than half actually!) and they also said it was a very easy process. My husband actually needed a different size jacket and vest when he received his in the mail and when he called Jim's Formalwear to get the new size it came in the mail very quickly TWICE!! He received it in the mail in plenty of time for us to get married. All in all- we would choose Elite all over again for the quality of service that they provided. Every interaction that I had with them via e-mail, phone, or in person was equally as personable and helpful. I have heard that some people in the area don't go with Elite because it's too "pricey" but I disagree- if you choose them for multiple services then you end up getting discounts galore! We actually saved money by going with them for so many things AND received high quality and trustworthy services! We ended up having severe rain all day during our wedding and some things needed to be moved around last minute- my aunt who was acting as our day- of coordinator on my behalf said that Elite was very easy to work with and that between her, Kaitlin from Elite, and Caitlin from the Regent (our ceremony and reception location) everything was taken care of! Danvilles hotels unfortunately have a reputation of having roaches or bed bugs-thats a no from me. I'd rather drive. I chose this hotel based on reviews. As someone familiar with military dorms , this place brought back some nostalgia. Pros- breakfast offered fresh fruit,cereal (with oatmilk optional!), bagels, eggs, potato,bacon and fresh coffee and juice. The bread tasted fresh not stale. And the coffee was rich (they use Starbucks ground coffee). The place is aged and the surrounding buildings are still abandoned after the Air Force base closed, but the hotel itself is clean and bug free , though there were giant mosquitoes outside. The room itself has a dorm feel even with a walk in closet and kitchenette (no hot plate or stove). There are definitely areas that the room could use replacement,like the shower floor or aged tiles on the bathroom floor. But there was no mold present in the bathroom including the shower curtain and the pressure of the water was fantastic. I checked the room for bugs and stains or hair that wasn't mine. I was pleased not finding any. I even checked the coffee pot where bugs usually hang out or the microwave, non present either. The only place was the shower stopper that had hair in it that wasn't mine that looked like it wasn't mine and was missed by housekeeping. I'll give them a pass for that. Also they don't come by and clean the rooms between days you stay there but they're nice enough to help you out with towels or what not if you need it. Also I drove around the neighborhood trying to see the sketchy vibe someone mentioned. As someone that grew up in the hood in LA, I didn't get that same hood vibe. It's definitely poverty stricken but people keep to themselves anyway. I'm visiting Danville again in December and already rebooked my stay.

The Wifi wasn't working, and I had a lot of work to do, so that was a big negative. They were overwhelmed with travelers on their way to the Path of Totality for the 2024 solar eclipse, it was a long wait to check in and a long walk from the far end of the packed parking lot. My desk chair was missing a wheel. The only food around is Domino's delivery, which is America's saddest meal. I've stayed in worse.

The arrangement was daisies, RED carnations and some other red flowers that are common fillers, with a red bow. Not very spring like. They were from my daughter so I love them but I'm very unhappy with the flowers in general. My daughter wasn't very happy when I showed her a photo either.

So we got the super 8 which is a little out dated and the chairs in the room have stains on them which need to be steam cleaned. The staff here is super super nice. They have a mini fridge and microwave in your room and you have cable tv. What makes me give three stars is when housekeeping clean our room the bed sheets and comforter where the same they didn't changed them out and I knew this because our comforter had a cigarette burn. The good thing I had bought cheap bedding sheets and covers and pillows and I would put them on top of the bed. Then when I would leave I would unfold the bedding like we used it. I would love to give five stars but this incident I was not to happy about. It's a good place to stay but recommend buying cheap sheets to use. This super 8 is 2 minutes away from the rock group. Right outside of the hotel there's an Arby's,Burger King, Jimmy Johns. Across the street is Taco Bell, McDonald's, subway.
