Annie Ray can make anybody look cool…read more Her "photobooth" photography style is edgy and fun, in no small part because of her incredibly likeable personality and the way she eggs on her subjects like some kind of totally cliche French photographer ("Give me more! Give me more!"). Yet her subjects catch her enthusiasm and channel their inner goofball/badass/child/whatever, striking ridiculous poses, making faces they would never otherwise make in public, even taping gross, who-knows-where-this-has-been fake moustaches under their noses to help them get into character. Yet somehow, magically, everyone looks hip and cool and funky and lively in the end product. Or maybe everyone looks totally dorky and ridiculous, but it doesn't matter, because all your friends look that way in their shots, too. Annie Ray is some kind of photographic genius. Attention closet models! Annie Ray is your photog!…read more Some people may ask "Why do all these folks feel the need to act a fool in front of cameras?? I don't get that behavior." Well, partially it's to have a physical memory of the event and the friends we love. But mostly it's cause an Annie Ray photo shoot is like a ride at Six Flags. It's a "weeeeeee" kinda fun where you can be as adventurous and loud and silly as you dare. When the ride is over, most folks get right back in line again. And just like a rollercoaster ride, you can end up with a crazy pic of your adventure. But Annie Ray specifically as a photographer is a joy. She's ebullient, effervescent, energetic, and encouraging which is great when you are working with stoic camera shy boys like my hubby and bff. And she makes ME look good even tho I normally take horrible pictures. I can never get my face to act right (in fact, no telling how many of the 20 or so that she takes she pitches to only post a few on her site....). And she remembers people. Having worked many a Yelp party and working with countless faces, I am amazed that she remembers my name and when she met hubby last event, she was so excited and demanded we take more pictures of just us, encouraging him "Randy love Keri! Simple. Customized. Genuine…read more We really loved working with Sarah - from the very beginning, it was an easy-going process to figure out how everything worked as far as the ceremony. She met with us shortly after our engagement and after we had set a date - walked us through what a few of her ceremonies had "looked like" as well as offer the things that would make it more personal for my then-fiance' and I. What I really enjoyed about Sarah's process was that she helped us figure out what kind of ceremony we wanted (we are both religious, but opted out of getting married through the church) so we decided on a partially religious ceremony that included a welcome, a dedication from our friends and family to support our marriage, a poem read by my cousin, our own written vows, ring exchange, and because we grew up near the sea, she incorporated a special and custom Nautical/Sailor's Knot tying ceremony...which everyone LOVED. For the rehearsal and actual ceremony, she was friendly and helpful with our bridal party and family as well as accommodating when we made a last-minute change. After we got hitched, she took our marriage license and got it to the state within the week and within 2 weeks we got our official returned license! Sarah was the best fit for us - she was so great to work with as well as super organized and helpful. Not to mention she gives you options for payment as well. We'd definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a customized wedding ceremony in just about any Austin location!

Reading 5 star after 5 star review, I had to meet her - I had to meet Sarah and there she was - this GORGEOUS woman with fire red hair and a heartwarming smile. That smile and her heavenly voice won me over in an instant. Christian and I both felt a calmness because we knew we found our gal - our conductor that would orchestrate our ceremony with ease, poise and grace. She's spunky and down to earth. Her ceremonies are authentic, natural and real - never forced or copied. She delivered our ceremony as if it was straight out of a Nicholas Spark's novel. Her heart is so full with love and it radiated throughout the day - each guest felt that presence. I couldn't imagine our day without her. She made it so magical. Our ceremony was a little bit different, this was a vow renewal. My husband is from Sweden and his family couldn't make it - or so he thought. I had secretly arranged for his family to come to surprise mid-ceremony. Sarah carried it out like. a. BOSS. I am absolutely pleased with the way the were able to bring out our personalities and how professional they were throughout the event. I've got our pictures back now and they are good, but not fantastic. I wish they would have slowed down and organized pictures better. So, for instance, telling me to move my veil or hair into place or moving people into the group closer or to avoid blocking another person would have made our pictures much better. They took very, very, very few pictures of our guests and only 1-2 posed pictures of us with each set of family. We don't have any posed pictures with key people (even though we had some taken) because the pictures didn't come out well. The posed pictures we do have are too far zoomed out so the subjects of the photo make up only about 1/3 of the picture. Also, the pictures they gave us on a DVD were only 300ppi, and they become pretty pixelated when we tried to enlarge them.
