I Moved away but, Years later I am reflecting on the fact that she changed my life. I have been battling with chronic fatigue and exhausted adrenals for seven years now, so naturally, I've been to every doctor and specialist know to man. I decided to see barbara for acupuncture, but didn't have too high of hopes for results since I'd been to lots of other acupuncturists before. Amazingly, I started seeing results after the first few times. Not only is Barbara extremely knowledgeable, but she has a warm, caring personality and she makes you feel very comfortable. She sat down and really listened to every single symptom I had (even ones that I thought might be irrelevant but that I mentioned anyway just in case). She definitely went the extra mile. She was really great at explaining to me why I was having my symptoms (meaning what exactly was going on in the body that might make you feel that way). She also gave me some supplements that have really helped, and that didn't break my wallet. It's true that she can leave you on the table for longer than usual, but she's running her practice herself. She doesn't have a secretary or an assistant so she's understandable busy, which can account for occasional forgetfulness. But I NEVER get the feeling that I'm being rushed through an appointment. On the contrary, I always feel that she would spend any time needed to answer what questions I had and make sure I had a good treatment. The only downside is that it's on park ave. which can get alittle tricky for parking. However, there is a church that is right across the street that always has an empty lot. If I can't find parking elsewhere, I go park there, and it seems to be fine. I recommend barbara to anyone looking for a great acupuncturist. I'll be staying with her as long as I continue to live in Oakland.

Michelle is great -- very responsive and easy to schedule through One Medical, and my favorite thing -- if he doesn't know something 100%, she's quite willing to say so and then find the answer. (A lot of doctors will never do that.)

I am healthier than I was 15 years ago and much of it has to do with Pam. I have been to four other chiropractors in my time and she is the only one to treat the entire being.
