The team at Fur Night and Day take such good care of the family pet (cats too!). They are very responsive to messages and even have pet cams so you can look in on your fur baby while you're traveling or away at work. Reasonable prices and they offer bathing and nail trims before you pick your pet up. I was so surprised to get a photo collage of our boxer after he stayed at their facility for the weekend. We purchased a bath and he smelled sooo good when we picked him up! read more

We've been using this daycare for a year now. They are open 365 days a year which is so helpful. I don't enjoy the smell of my pup when I pick him up but that can't be avoided in daycare. Very reasonably priced and open 7am-7pm with cameras in all play yards. read more

I just got a puppy (Hutch) with a ton of energy . I've taken him to the dog park a couple of times, which he enjoys. I just forgot how much work goes into having a puppy. I found this place online and was able to take him that same day (for free). Since then I've have taken him for a half a day every other day (his need a day of rest after going). The BEST decision EVER I've made since getting Hutch. He LOVES it so much and the best part is he is super chill after we get home and sleeps through the night!!! So I would suggest this place to everyone and will continue to suggest it till people I know till they are sick of me talking about it. I L-O-V-E this place. I had to find a place to board my dogs as we were going to be taking a trip and I stumbled upon Fur Night and Day. I called ahead of time to make an appointment and talk to a manager because one of my dogs has a special need that has to be taken care of (I will spare the details). When I called, the girl I spoke with had me talk to a manager who I explained the whole situation to. Then the manager wanted to make sure that she was there when I dropped of Stewart so that I would not have to explain it all again. Great service! Then, I took the dogs in for doggie daycare and of course I was checking in on the webcams all day. The staff was very attentive to the dogs and went in to play with them multiple times. They would even go in and just sit and my little Stew cuddled up to them #SoCute. Towards the end of the day the pups all get so tired that you start to see a lot of sitting which is a good thing. When I went to pick my pups up I was greeted with 2 cute photo collages of both of my puppies from their first day with handwritten notes. It was so cute. We got in the car and within a minute both pups were asleep. Not only did my pups get to play all day, but they were well taken care of and they had a great time. I recently moved to Okc from Wisconsin and some living arrangements fell through putting me in a huge bind. April, and Fur Night and Day, were incredibly patient with my kitty's 2 month stay! He has a special diet due beginning stage of kidney failure, and they handled that flawlessly! They kept me in the loop and up to date. They also provided me with pictures from his stay, and as a wonderful option, I love being able to check in through video whenever! I will use them again in the future and forever recommend them to everyone I know! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Hands down the best people in the business! read more

NOT IMPRESSED! Boarded our two healthy, active dogs (ages 5 and 9) for two nights. This was our first time trying this facility. Picked them up and was handed a stack of urine soaked bedding. Three attendants could not provide any explanation for why my dogs would have urinated on their bedding, which is something they have NEVER done at home. Had to ask for plastic bags for the bedding, as they seemed to think I should just put a soaking wet dog bed and three wet blankets in my car. The whole experience was bizarre and extremely disconcerting. I have NO CONFIDENCE that my dogs are well cared for at this facility. We would like an explanation and apology from the owner of this facility. This is wholly unacceptable dog "care". read more

4 Stars for the Pet Boarding, 2 Stars for grooming. This was our first time boarding our puppy and it started off grand until we found out she hadn't received the right vaccinations to stay. Figured it all out and off we were on our mini vacay. She spent almost 2 weeks here and it was great that we could check the webcams and get glimpses of her if she walked into view. The area where they keep the pets is downstairs in a basement and we're not allowed to go down there? which is weird because i'd like to see where my dog is staying but i digress. We paid for her to get a bath before we picked her up but i was hoping they'd give it to her maybe within the hour of the time we told them we'd land from our flight. It seemed liked they gave her the bath in the morning and they let her play with the other dogs for the rest of the afternoon which totally negated the point of the bath in the first place... Also, not sure how proactive they are with watching the pups when they're playing together but within minutes of us arriving she mustve been playing rough with another dog and ended up getting bit in the ear so when she was brought to us she had a gash on her ear where the fur hand been ripped off by another dog. Being that it was our first time boarding her and the fact that she wasn't returned to us in the best condition it kind of put a sour taste in my mouth... Overall, decently priced, they give a military discount which is much appreciated since both me and my husband serve and are out of town frequently. read more

Absolutely LOVE this place! Our Border Collie / Aussie / Great Pyr mix (Maddie) just spent 10 nights at Fur Night & Day (FNAD) and we couldn't be happier with the care she received! Prior to being boarded, we took advantage of the free first day of doggie daycare to see how she would do since she is just over a year old, a rescue, and had never been boarded. I like that you are able to see your fur baby in the play yard via the webcams. The staff are very attentive and the dogs/cats in their care receive a lot of attention. Maddie had her own "doggie suite" at night and played freely in the play yard during the day...going inside and outside as she wished. It is obvious that the staff are animal lovers and provide great care for your fur baby! Maddie loves the staff as do we! read more

They're great! We were passing through town and needed to be able to pick up our dog Sunday morning and they were the only only boarders able to "check out" our dog at that time... everyone else would only let us have our dog back Sunday afternoon or Monday morning. Also, playtime with other dogs is part of the per night fee, so they're actually cheaper than most other places if you're a good dog owner and want your dog to have fun while you're away. Lastly, the facilities are indoors, so no matter how hot or cold it is, the temperature's perfect for playing, which is important for our black lab who easily overheats in the sun. read more

Ashley is the owner and understands that her guest are her customers. The unique part of Fur Day and Night is that play time for those guys is part of the boarding not something you pay extra for. With 5 play yards, each with their own web cam, everybody spends most of the day playing. Time in the suites is only for resting and eating. Kennels we have used in the past had limited hours but Fur Night and Day is open from 7 to 7, 365 days a week. Socks is our belgian shepherd and she had a great time. Always a nice surprise :) enclosed, safe, clean facilities.. felt very comfortable leaving my dog there for day care. They take pictures during the day of your dog and playing with the other ones and give you a report card - such a cute idea! I wish i still lived around there, I'd go there all the time! We are visiting from Houston and needed a place for our two little girls to stay. We were so relieved when we called from Houston by the caring person answering the phone. She allayed our fears and seemed eager to meet our precious babies. We were a little apprehensive when we dropped them off since the concept was different from anything the girls had experienced. It has been so nice. We have thoroughly enjoyed watching them via playroom doggy cam. The facility is so clean and the caregivers have been visible and prompt to clean any accidents left behind. I actually called to tell them I appreciated them making a little blanket tent for the girls to get in. They seem so happy and that makes me so happy. read more

I was in Norman for my brother's graduation and was leaving for vacation in Colorado so I decided to board my cat in Norman and pick him up on the way back to Houston. It was my first time boarding my sweet cat, Hashbrown and I could not have picked a better place! They have a camera so I could watch him in the common area for cats and they gave me updates via email. They really made sure Hashbrown was taken care of properly and treated him like their own fur baby. I wish we had one of these where I'm from. Although I do not live here I highly recommend it to anyone with pets who lives in Norman!:) They also gave me a cute postcard with pictures of Hashbrown and the employees wrote sweet notes about him on it. 10/10 read more

This is absolutely the best place to bring your fur babies!! I used to live in Norman and would drop my dog, Miso, off for daycare a few times a week in order to give him a chance to play with other dogs. My fiance and I took a vacation sometime last year and so we booked Miso for 9 days of boarding. To be honest, I was a little heart broken that we would be leaving him for so long but was able to deal because of the highly attentive staff and the streaming camera feed. That made it a lot easier for me to leave him for so long. I was also happy to find out that the dog "suites" are not crates but actual rooms and the staff allows you to bring as much toys, blankets, etc. to fill their little hotel room. Once we returned from the trip I picked up Miso and mentioned we were in the market to get Miso a fur brother. It was at this point that the staff introduced me to my next fur baby, Bento. He was a foster that Miso had met at Fur Night and Day. Long story short, I now have two fur babies that go to Fur Night and Day. I have since moved to Edmond but do not hesitate to make the trip to Norman whenever I need some daycare or boarding. We recently boarded them during a weekend trip and I just booked Miso and Bento to stay there in April when I go to get married. As a side note, they let my two cuties stay in one "suite" together which I have found not all places do..overall, FANTASTIC place for both daycare and boarding. If you want to be able to give your puppies a "vacation" while you also vacation without worrying, give this place a call. read more

Fur Day and Night is the best! Amazing facility, amazing staff and amazing service! We traveled from the east coast to get our son settled in the Norman area. We stayed 10 days. The folks at Fur Night and Day welcomed our Golden Retriever with open arms and Boomer thoroughly enjoyed doggie day camp. Boomers days were spent playing and romping with other dogs of similar size and personality rather than stuck in a kennel with limited play. What a wonderful experience for us all. Fur Night and Day is absolutely my favorite dog boarder in the OKC area. They are not terribly expensive, have a clean environment, and the dogs get plenty of play time. Their bathes are expensive, but whatever they use made my dogs smell amazing. I would recommend this (and have) to absolutely anyone. read more

We have been customers of this business for 5 years, since they first opened and we purchased their packages of many days of day care for our then puppy, a chocolate lab.He appeared to love going here and we did visit quite often over his first few years so he would burn off energy when we were at work. We also boarded him on a few occasions. Two years ago, we adopted a tornado rescue dog, also a chocolate lab. We informed the staff we now had two of them, and one was a tornado survivor who'd had a pretty serious injury. We asked for honest feed back on how he was doing and the report was they both were great. We believed they loved coming here, had a great time, and when they were boarded, were so worn out they just went and slept in their rooms. A great peace of mind for the pets we consider our family members. Until this most recent visit...again 5 years after we first starting going here. When we returned into town one night early, we went to pick them up just before closing. The staff member at the front was pretty put off with us and said "the owner needs to speak with you." She left the front area and returned with her personal cell phone which she then put on speaker phone in front of our child and other customers in the lobby. The manager proceeded to tell us that our dogs had been rambunctious and uncontrollable. They'd nearly knocked over an employee, and were now described as "door dashers." This information was delivered in the most unprofessional of ways. And it came as a complete shock as it's nothing like our dogs. We asked if something had changed at the business. Was there a new routine, new employees, that kind of thing. We reminded them that we have been customers for 5 years. Since our first dog was a puppy. And this was not our first visit for boarding either and we had never had a report like this. We were told this problem "had actually been going on for some time." We were shocked. Our young daughter was in tears when we left after being told they would not be allowed back without some additional training. (They've both completed obedience school) as she has always called this their "school" and was at ease dropping them off there. We could not believe this report, or the way it was handled. We had never been told of any issues that allegedly had gone on "for some time." And honestly wonder what has changed internally since we first started coming. There seems to be a complete lack of honest and timely communication with pet owners. And it truly concerns us about what else they may not be telling pet parents about their visit. Although the GM of the business responded to a review on Facebook and told us she realizes they were unprofessional in their approach...it's too little too late. We spent 5 years highly recommending this business, but it seems now there have been some significant changes or something going on that does make us leery. We will not be returning as it's clear our otherwise loving, playful and typical Labradors aren't welcome. But even more, our trust is broken. We just want other pet owners to be aware that a place we loved for years is now not an option for our pet care. read more
