I was trying to find the perfect flowers to send to a beautiful lady i am dating. It was late afternoon and I kept getting the big corporate sales companies where they just rush you through the order to get your credit card only to be delivered the following day and get their commission. After sometime online searching i found Amy's flower studio. (869 E Washington St. North Attleborough, MA, 02760 ) I wanted a local florist and had talked with Nancy who walked with me through the website looking at possible suggestions with no rush making my order. We finally picked the perfect roses and had them delivered within one hour of the call and that is service you just don't find in big $$$$ florists. Absolutely the best! I have used Amy's 2X to send my mom flowers in Attleboro as I live in San Francisco. I was not disappointed! Today (April 26) would have been my parent's 42nd wedding anniversary. My father passed away in 2019 and so the celebration is bittersweet. I have to say that Amy's Flower studio is absolutely amazing!!! When my mother unexpectedly passed away on March 3. I contacted Amy and the flowers she did for the service were amazing. Amy really worked with me by asking me questions I would not have ever thought of like "what is your mother's favorite colors and flowers" I had to travel out of state with the flowers for the service, Amy made sure everything would travel ok. The day of the service all I kept hearing was how beautiful the flowers were and wanted to know which florist I had used and when I told them that the florist was out of state they kept saying wish our local florist had such beautiful flowers. We used the flower studio for our wedding in November 2013. They were just wonderful to work with, everyone was very helpful. We just loved the finished product. They were so helpful with the planning. I had some ideas on what I wanted and they worked with me to get a close to that vision as possible within my budget. I have to say when I saw the results on the wedding day , I was blown away. They went above and beyond in helping with the vision and even came up with some cool ideas that added to it. Our theme was more rustic and we wanted to do a clothes line place card holder. They came up with the idea of using this cool tree for that instead and it was perfect. The flowers that day were just beautiful, they came in and set everything up and arranged the rooms with the flowers, other boxes and display items. We didn't have to worry about at thing! The shop is very cute and has a lot of other items, furniture, antiques etc. We were able to grab some things for the wedding to use there like the whiskey barrell. The woman greeted me right away and took my order for a fresh flower arrangement at the price of $35, her choice of flowers but to please ensure pink and blue were represented. I waited a few minutes and she produced a gorgeous bouquet. Really very lovely. We went to the flower studio for the last time today. The quality has gone way downhill over the last two years. We were big fans of the studio, but since it changed owners they seem to have been riding the reputation on the predecessors. It is a challenge to provide top product when you only have a weekly flower run into Boston. Something has to give and it certainly has in my opinion. Quality has suffered, but the prices are staying strong.. I hope they can take the necessary steps to get back on the path to customer satisfaction. I only use the Flower Studio when I am in need of any type of arrangement. I have been going here since I was in high school for proms. I used the Flower Studio for my wedding as well and everything was beautiful! I couldn't have asked for better help with the flowers on my wedding day and everything was perfect. I was unsure what I wanted to use for my ceremony and they steered me in the right direction with their expertise. Everyone in my family gets their flowers here as well and we wouldn't go anywhere else. The owners and everyone who works there are so nice to deal with. Not only does a florist must have a great selection of flowers and arrangements, but I feel customer service and a great staff is even more important! I must say, I have been there a BOATLOAD of times, and nothing against anyone who works there, but Amy is hands down the best sales associate there! Her knowledge and her pleasant attitude is a bonus. I have been to enough florists more than I would like to admit, and she is the BEST! If they don't have something, she can make suggestions and the presentations are second to none! When I go in, I always look forward and eager to see her presentations of her bouquets. The Flower Studio is, undoubtedly, a thing of the past for us. After faithfully ordering from them over the past 17 years, I am totally appalled at my recent experience there. Their service and quality have significantly gone downhill and the owner is totally unprofessional and rude!! I believe new owners took over in the past couple years and that has been the demise of this once high quality florist. I ordered 2 small bouquets this past weekend for my young daughters and was charged an absolute astronomical price for nothing but filler flowers worth about $4.00 (I know this because i have a couple family members "in the business"). And, These bouquets were TINY!!! Furthermore, were not labor intensive as they had claimed! (Again, I consulted my family members). When I very kindly & politely called to let the owner know of my disappointment, she grew immediately defensive, cut me off mid-sentence, and told me if I wanted to spend less then I should have gone to Stop & Shop and hung up the phone!!! Really?!?! I was incredibly courteous to her and that is how she treats people, never mind customers??!! I didn't expect a refund or, even some of my money back. I simply wanted them to know that what I paid for was low quality and WAY overpriced. She didn't care, and had no interest in listening to the feedback of a loyal customer. AWFUL!!!!! I could write a book about how bad flower studio f'd up my flower order!!! We have been using Flower Studio for 20+ years and I decided I should use them for my wedding. First the owner Al quoted me a little under $900 so we excepted and canceled another florist we were looking into and gave him a deposit. 2 days later we get a call that his adding machine wasn't working correctly and it was actually over $1,200...ok mistakes happen. We call to make a payment "oh that total didn't include delivery and tax, the total is a little over $1,400". I talked to his wife and she says " well Al is getting older" well then he shouldn't be dealing with the business portion of the business!! He finally took off the delivery charge for us...great, right? Nope, after a long discussion about how we loved the flowers my mother order for my bridal shower at $25 a Mason Jar that's exactly what we wanted for our centerpieces(even providing pictures). My mother went to make a final payment and he made all our centerpieces babies breath! $25 a jar for babies breath and we were providing the jars!! And to top it off I showed him a mix of flowers I loved for the boutonnieres.... He had it down for a single flower. He's getting old and his business is going to suffer, such a shame since Flower Studio was always our go-to place for arrangements! Don't bother, I am now 2 weeks away from my wedding with no florist. read more
