Hot dog with everything except ketchup plus a grilled chile.

Stopped by Amy's hot dog stand on my way home from work to satisfy a craving for one of her delicious dogs. Served quickly and with a smile. I like mine with everything except ketchup. Mighty fine dog! My only complaint is that the price has gone up, making this only an occasional treat for me.

I've been following them for years. Currently, they usually post up on pyramid by Big O tires on the nights of Thursday through Sunday. Sonoran style dogs, but you can customize if needed. I recommend getting everything. Great service and always super friendly. Tonight, they were busier than normal, which I see as a great thing, so we had no issues waiting. Everything was great as always, highly recommended!

Vibe is on point! Food is super tasty. Best dog you'll eat for sure. Service you can't beat. Really nice people. Never a long wait. I don't really know the hours of operations but if you see it stop!

Not impressed, expensive, very fragrant and taste is okay. $12 is just wow! Placed a phone order to avoid long wait waited over 40min. Save your money and wait for your visit to bulk store for $1.50 delicious hotdog and drink!

Wow the dogs here are unbelievable. The topping to the dog makes the hot dog in my opinion. The couple that owns this little stand are so nice and they took care of us since it was our first time. It's outside but you can always bundle up when it's cold. Try them out!

I'm not a hot dog person but when it comes to Amy's, we get down! Been looking for them for a while, they used to be located on Oddie but moved a while ago. I Happened to be driving home the other day and spotted them setting up on Pyramid, took a note and went there for a bite last night. They're pretty popular so be ready to wait at least 20 minutes for your order, especially if they're busy which they seem to be around the clock. The wait is worth it though! Their service, as always, great and friendly! The food itself, so full of flavor and interestingly enough, you taste a bit of everything in every single bite. If you're kosher, this place isn't for you. All they serve are hot dogs wrapped in ham and bacon (such a delicious combo). If you don't like spicy, be sure to let them know as they add a green sauce, jalapeños and a "serrano toreado" (grilled serrano pepper) on top.

I can't believe it took us years to finally try Amy's! We always see their truck near our house and finally stopped a few months ago. It's SO good! And they are super friendly! I like to get the bacon wrapped hot dog with ketchup, mayo, tomato, grilled onions, cheese, and the avocado sauce. My husband gets everything on it, without tomatoes or onions. It's so delicious and reasonably priced!

Definitely a go-to for those late night cravings. Amy's hot dogs are one of the best hotdogs I've had. They give a different twist to your average hotdog with ketchup, mustard, and relish. They add grilled, caramelized onions, ham and cheese, and wrap the sausage in bacon. All the flavors mixed together is heaven in your mouth! After speaking with the owners who are also husband and wife, I was really impressed by their story. They've been selling these hotdogs for 12 years now and it's always the two of them working. You can tell that they actually enjoy doing this by the satisfaction they get when they know their customers leave happy. Their hours are Thursday-Sunday 6pm-9:30pm and they are parked right outside Big O Tires on Pyramid Way. Highly recommend trying these out for yourself!

Great hot dogs and great service!! We got the everything dogs and a plain one. They were so good!

Top with most of the works; bottom just bacon, ham, & cheese.

The hotdogs have that snap and the buns are steamed just right. All the ingredients are fresh and you're given plenty of them on each hotdog.. Im really picky about chili.but their chili cheese dog has always been my favorite chili dogs from anywhere..I get mustard and onions on it as well. But my all time favorite from there is their special they have once or twice a year for a couple weeks to a month. Its the coleslaw dog... they slaw is perfect. Not too much mayo or huge chunks of cabbage. And there are 2 other hotdogs I like from there. The cheese dog (LOADED with freshly grated cheddar) and the Chicago dog . They also have a good fritos chili bowl and chopped up hotdogs. But its not just about the food there. Yes thats amazing but the vibe and atmosphere, the staff and the decor.. the decor is great. Hotdogs and weiner dogs everywhere..lol.. the staff is always so nice and after going awhile, the owner Kristine remembers your name. She treats you like family and just has a caring heart.. she has so much love for the community, the food, staff and restaurant in general . Sinbads is the best hotdog place in northern Nevada.

I'm still going down a long list of burger places to compare. Beefy's is my 5th place to try…read more Local spot with character and plenty of seating inside and out with the combo of bar+bus+picnic tables. Lots of fans including mist fan outside to fight the heat. Bus feels spacious but seating is a bit cramped with tiny metal bench seats. Lots of other options other than burgers (hot dogs, chicken, etc) but come on, what's the name of the place? Service was fast, about 15 minutes to get our burgers but the place was near empty on a weekday mid afternoon after the typical lunch period. Insider tip I got: If the place is even 1/3rd full, be prepared for a long wait (minimum half hour?) I noticed quite a few reviews mentioned the prices were high. And when I got the bill for $60 for two people with tax and tip I might have agreed, at first, especially if my main repeat burger joints were In-n-out/Wendy's/Jack-n-Box. But comparing to those places is not apples-to-apples. It's 1/3 lbs patties here (70% more than the just below 1/4 lbs of meat you get on a Double Double) and quite a step up in meat quality from those chains. About $16+ for single patty burger and $20+ for double, but that also includes fries and a drink. I get the feeling people complaining about the prices have to be burger addicts with the review perspective of a frequent In-n-Out patron which allows getting your "fix" more frequently on the average budget. I would prefer if I could opt-out of the full meal deal for a lesser price and just get a burger. If you get a beer, the included soft drink is redundant or unnecessary. And some may prefer to focus on the protein without additional carbs/calories from the fries. But granted this isn't a place to be counting calories. Burger is high quality all around and they cooked them actually medium rare as ordered. Many places don't give a cook temp option or still overcook. Fries were great, better than the freezer burnt airy texture of In-n-Out. My only criticism is both the fries and the patty had too much salt but not to an inedible point. A common occurrence though given the cook's and/or typical frequent fast food eater's salt-desensitized palate. So Beefy's ties at #2 with The Parlor sitting between my #1 Royce and #3 Archie's, then #4 Juicy's. Armando & Sons and Barrio Burger are next.

For starters, the food is decent…read more With that said, if you advertise Happy Hour prices, they should be honored. I went specifically for the Happy Hour wings, and when I received the check, the price didn't reflect the amount stated on the menu. I asked to speak with the owner, and instead of correcting it, she told me she gave me a quarter off and, with a smug smile, said, "Thank you very much." Sorry, lady, but your food isn't that great for you to be so confidently rude. In addition, this was my second visit this week. I only returned because my sister loves chicken wings, and because of the advertised "Happy Hour" price, I decided to give them another try. We also ordered a plain burger to go with just cheese, and when I got home, it was loaded with all the fixings, including sauce. I called several times to have the issue addressed, but no one answered. When I told the servers about the situation during this visit, instead of trying to make it right, they gave me a half-hearted apology. So yes, the food might be diner decent, but the owner's attitude and the poor service make the entire experience worse. I've worked in customer service for over 30 years, and not once have I treated a paying customer the way I was just treated. And if they want to respond to this review to justify their shitty service, great. Go for it. I was polite the entire time. All I asked was to be heard, for their advertised pricing to be honored, and for some basic appreciation for my business by simply making things right. Instead, the owner insultingly put two quarters on the table, as if 50 cents somehow made up for the $8-$9 difference we were being overcharged. It didn't. If anything, it made an already frustrating situation feel even more dismissive. And it really was an easy fix. If they couldn't adjust the Happy Hour pricing for whatever reason, she could have easily taken the $18 pastrami sandwich off the bill to make up for both the pricing discrepancy and the incorrect order we received during our previous visit just two days earlier. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was asking for an owner to recognize that her restaurant had made mistakes on two separate visits and make a genuine effort to correct them. In a city full of burger options, she had an opportunity to turn a negative experience into a positive one and potentially make lasting customers out of my family and me. Instead, she chose to be dismissive, smug, and rude over something that could have been resolved in a matter of minutes. That tells me everything I need to know about how she values her customers.
