The worst experience I have ever had and I don't even wanna give 1 star... booked for a larger group days in advance and told them we had 2 little kids. They scolded us when the kids had their feet in the water- told us we'd have to clean up the kids dripping any water and to not let them touch the water...but wouldn't provide a towel, I dried my own feet with my sweater to leave my chair for the restroom and got a paper towel on my way back for the few drips the children made and got yelled at again for using a paper towel instead of a towel. We walked out not having finished and continued to get scolded the entire time. DO NOT waste your money here. The gentleman who works there is the ONLY positive in this place. read more

Got a mani/pedi and paid ahead as requested and gave a $20 tip. The grater used on my feet was too rough and caused me to bleed. By the time I got home, 15 mins from the salon, both thumbs were messed up and I needed to change the bandaid on my foot. read more

I booked an appt to get gel polish and they did not put the gel all the way to my cuticle so it looks grown out already. The man doing my nails was watching something on his phone like a show or something and made me bleed. He seems like he was in such a hurry to sit back down and watch his show peacefully. read more

Honestly this place is more of a 3.5. Pluses: It's very clean, you get your own nail file and buffer to take with you. Love that! They also had really great chairs. Cons: The downside was that they were understaffed for a Sunday so it took awhile for us to get pedicures and we didn't get to have them together. It's a bummer because there are plenty of stations available The ladies that my Mom and I had doing our nails were very nice and accommodating. Would go back! read more

Just nope, nope and nope. Callouses still obvious after my "Lush" pedicure. Dark lines around the cuticles and sides of the nail. Polish did not completely cover the nail. Nails cut too short. Have never had a pedi that was so unprofessional. Unfortunate, too, that no effort was made to converse with any clients when I was there. I used to go here very often and was satisfied but I went back today and will not go again. I called and made an appointment for 12:30. I sat in the waiting area for around 20 minutes. Then they handed me some colors and told me he'd be right with me. Long story short I sat there for 45 minutes waiting after making an appointment so i left. I go here often to get my eyebrows waxed and am happy with the service, they always get me in. For a full set, def call ahead. They usually get me in for a gel mani or pedi but could use more staff. I've had a couple sub par experiences with them going too deep and cutting cuticles on finger and toes, but overall have had a good experience. Just got a full set. And I'm super happy. read more

Would not go back. Nice space but very understaffed. I was told to come back in an hour, and when I came back it took a while to get my pedi started. Man was very rough, then sat me to soak of my gel nails and went to do a pedi on someone else. I finally pulled the foil off and went to leave, and he offered to finish the color, leaving the woman getting a pedi to now wait. Did a shoddy job just to get it done quickly. Didn't charge me for the mani, but still I wouldn't go back. I watched them shoo a number of people out with "come back in an hour" and made others wait. read more

They do no run an honest business.... I highly recommend not visiting this salon. I had shellac nails done on a Sunday and I called on Tuesday after Memorial Day to have them fixed as shellac should last 2 weeks. He was rude to me, would not let me talk, would not guarantee his work nor would he give me my money back for them. Horrible place!! read more

We've been waiting more then an hour we had our appointment at 11:30 and we finally got service at 12:45 and we asked for the appointment at 9 and said they would give us service at 11:30 but it's been past an hour like I said. Ive gotten my nails done here at least 20 times throughout my childhood and this is the most disappointing experiences I've had in a while with Amy's nails. This was the worst nail experience I've had! We went here before a wedding I was in and the bride almost left in tears. The gentlemen that checked us out was leaning over the counter yelling in our faces. They sped through us to get as many people in as possible and I could see trough my polish it was so bad. There are several nail salons in Glenwood Springs. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. I would give it a -2 if that was an option. The service is average to below average, but they are so incredibly rude. I had a horrible experience recently where they had mistaken me for someone else and didn't want to do a mani/pedi for me even though I had an appointment. (Nevermind there was not another single customer in the salon). Once they realized they had mistaken me for someone else, Amy apologized but I was already so disgusted and offended that I left. I've also seen them treat other customers rudely but I've never experienced anything like this in a place of business. It's worth going to Savvy Nail or the salon in the Glenwood Mall. read more

Absolutely terrible, first walked in to a very weird smell that should have been my clue turn around and leave. Well I needed a pedicure was there from out of town on an emergency so (sorry Nancy, my regular pedicure guru) I didn't have much choice when I googled.. Ok on with the review, she proceeds to sit me in this chair and ask me to put my feet in the water so I do WTH!! the water is ice cold, no exaggeration... Did she forget to turn the hot water on?? Ok we jump that hurdle as well, next she starts my pedicure, wait??? Where the hell did the instruments come from? I didn't see a new packet of sterilized tools get opened... Holy smokes batman!! Oh NO!! The buck stops here I was out of there I dried my feet and started walking out the door. The man who was working on the other customer eagerly tried to get me to stay telling me he would do my pedicure I said no thank you I informed him that it was unsanitary and left!! I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE... They need to seriously get their act together. read more

I've been going to this nail salon since I moved here and they are great! Courteous staff and clean environment. I like getting my manicures done every week or every other week, so it's nice that they have a rewards program for frequent customers. I'm not sure what the other reviewer is referring to but they used a new set of filing tools for every one of my visits. Would definitely recommend this salon! read more

I was visiting in Rifle and we went for mani/pedis. The person doing my nails nicked my toe. I thought I saw a little blood but she didn't say anything and put my foot in the water. It was until after we left that i noticed my toe hurt. Now 2 days later it still hurts. Additionally my pedicure chipped after one day. I also had a gel manicure which is already peeling. She did a terrible job shaping the nails. It looks very amateur but still cost over $60. I would not recommend this nail salon. read more

The place wreaked of pot. I paid $60 for a full set of gel nails and got acrylics with a gel polish over the top. Also, the shaping of my nails is terribly uneven. My sister and I were the only people there for service and it felt awfully rushed and impersonal for the $120 bill (not including tip). read more

When Amy's first started the staff was great they were always my go to but the salon has gone very much down hill and new staff is unbelievably rude! I went in for a SCHEDULED pedicure and asked for the deluxe pedi and was told he did not have time, only for the basic pedicure (mind you my feet were already in the water) so I explained that if I am paying for it I want the full pedicure he drained my water, pulled out my feet and practically told me to go somewhere else! Another time I scheduled a full set when I came in for my "appointment " apparently nobody wrote down the time and booked it because when I arrived there was no record of my appointment and was told to reschedule for later. So after I rescheduled and got in, the man RUSHED through my full set all my acrylics were different sized (some thick some thin some long some short) with air bubbles all throughout, (probably due to the fact he didn't have me go wash my hands after all the filing ) and when I asked that he fixed them he argued that it was my nail beds and fingers when I had to explain I get my nails done every month and they have NEVER looked so bad he fixed them to the best of his ability but still a sloppy job, when it came time to check out he overcharged me $20 again ARGUING that I had a full pedicure also when I only had the $15 polish change rather than the $40 pedicure. Once he realized he was wrong he fixed the mistake but the fact that he argued with my infringement of the whole salon rather than listening was not okay. After keeping an open mind for so long I will not be returning. read more

I'm a bit of a perfectionist but I think when you're paying $40 to get a gel manicure - they should be perfect. After my manicure I noticed she missed the sides of almost every nail, one which was particularly bad...I went back to have them fixed and she could have cared less. She fixed a few of them, half assed, and at that point I could care less and knew I would never be returning. I don't understand how hard it is to paint the WHOLE nail...especially for $40. I could have a done better job myself. read more
