Actually I don't know what horse meat tastes like but I certainly have eaten tons of beef in my life - all parts including the offal - I'm vietnamese after all, and this stuff did not taste even remotely like beef. It was red like beef minus the marbling of fat that should be associated with t-bone. But it had a white fleshy consistency of pork after pan frying it coconut oil and butter. It did not have a dark brown caramelization that should occur after cooking beef on high heat. Quite strange. Beware my friends Tony's t-bone deal. We purchased 10 lbs of chicken there as well but have not sampled it to date. I will keep you abreast once we do - especially it it turns out tasting like eagle or hawk or the like.

Here's why I feel this way: we went during happy hour (daily 3-6pm) and ordered wine and an appetizer off the happy hour menu as we pointed to them from the happy hour menu. When the food arrived, the portion was noticeably larger than what happy hour typically offers, no one mentioned we'd been given the entree size. We were charged FULL pricing, NOT happy hour pricing. As we waited for our bill, we overheard other patrons having the same conversation about their bill. That's when it clicked. Instead of ordering the happy hour portions-they are substituting the entree portions and forcing people to pay it. What should have been a sub-$100 bill for drinks and an app cost us over $200. If we'd known that, we would have ordered from the dinner menu and at least gotten what we paid for. LET'STALK ABOUT THE FOOD: The food quality is subpar.
