We went with Outre pre-stretched hair using 27 with 1B peekaboo underneath, and the final result is absolutely stunning. I had never tried peekaboo color before, and the dimension it created is beautiful. My sensitive scalp feels great, my edges are neat, and the length/fullness are everything I hoped for. Tonya stepped in at the end to shape and perfect the final look, and let me just say, between the two of them, it was pure Black Girl Magic. While I was there, I also watched Tonya transform another client's short style flawlessly, which made it clear this salon's talent goes far beyond braiding. I called about a week in advance to make sure they could get us both in at the same time and Christine was extremely nice in the phone, even when I called 5 minutes later to change the day of my appointment. The building is quaint and unassuming on the outside. Inside are some very nice pedicure chairs and a few manicure stations. The vibe was great, very relaxing and fun. The pedicures were AMAZING. Christine knows exactly what she is doing and she won't let you walk out of there looking anything less than perfect! Even though it wasn't included in the package I bought, she gave my feet quite a bit of extra loving to get rid of the rough skin. No one goes above and beyond like that nowadays, I was very impressed and appreciative. Not only is she truly gifted at and passion about what she does, she's a genuinely wonderful human being. She talked to us the whole time like we were all friends! It was a refreshing change from the normal nail salon interactions I'm used to. Do yourself a favor, call and schedule an appointment!
