Larry worked with me and I was able to get the proper orthotics and leg brace. After months of pain finally drove me to use a crutch, receiving the orthotics and brace made an immediate change in the quality of my life. However, the "specialist" put me in the wrong sized boot. Because the boot was 1 size too small, I developed a sore on the top of my foot that required a trip to the ER, then the surgeon to rectify. How do I know it was the wrong sized boot? Because I have been using the larger boot without issue for the last 8 years. Thankfully, I am in the correct sized boot now....without their assistance. If you get sent here by your doctor, I would recommend returning to your doctor to check the sizing and fit of your boot/shoe/whatever.

They diagnosed and advised me on the devices they made for me and on sustainable use tips. They were very accommodating when scheduling appointments and followed up after with phone calls to see how I was doing. I have never had any health services provider do that and after being surprised realized that this may be the first time that I felt cared for as a patient. Highly recommend anyone to use them for prosthetics and orthotics.

The staff is wonderful and great with infants! They explained the basics to us and then we did the scan. Kids never do what you need but they were great using her toy to distract her and get her to look in the surfing they needed to scan her skull. Very much looking forward to working with them over the next few months!

In long 4 months ago, my lovely bride had a massive stroke, and needs support for her left leg and knee in order to be able to retrain her body to walk again. Starting before she even came home from the rehab hospital, Cornerstone has taken great care of her as she works on recovering her mobility. I should remember her primary tech's name by now--I want to say it's Shana. She came to the rehab hospital and fitted Kristi for an ankle brace about 3 months ago. Maybe a month ago, we saw her again when we needed to have the ankle brace articulated. She was warm and friendly throughout both visits, remembering personal details about Kristi beyond just what she was dealing with medically. She's awesome at making people feel comfortable and engaged. Yesterday, we saw here for a knee brace, which is a pretty simple device compared to some of the limb prosthetics and other things they offer. She took her time explaining everything about putting it on, keeping it in place, what to expect, how to clean it, and every other detail you could think of. We've hit our out-of-pocket max for the year, but they told us the cost and gave us all the paperwork that goes with the brace. Braces can be cumbersome, and they limit your choices for pants and shoes, but the ones from Cornerstone are relatively discreet, and very comfortable. Kristi feels way better with them on when she gets up and covers some ground on foot. Huge thanks to Cornerstone.

After we made our choice of service providers the Team leader at QA decided to stick her nose in where it was not wanted and cause way more stress than what was needed at this time. It seems that they don't like fathers to be involved with their children or parents to make their own choices. And heaven forbid that you chose a program that is not to QA's liking because they will do everything in their power to try to stop you from making your child happy.

I have had two pairs of the FASTR folding crutches. I originally got them because they are light…read moreand because when I travel out of the US I like to use one and carry one folded, either in my checked luggage--or in a child's snowshoe bag, as my carry-on. I actually use either one or two all the time now depending on my current mobility--it says they're not for full time use, but I have found them okay--I weigh 135 lbs and load onto the right one quite a bit (so I make them interchangeable, no ergonomic grips) but I am walking with both feet. Email/phone service is also great. Right I am struggling with putting on silicon hand grips, but that's a small price to pay. I first got them in 2008 then again 2017 because the first pair got worn out; I keep an old one in the car trunk for rough ground, and one next to my bed for maneuvering at night.
